Durable, quality product

This is a very durably built nozzle, with great thick rubber group and a spin that feels really smooth & solid. I can imagine this thing lasting for years. The only drawback I find is that for those who turn it on and off frequently, there is a decent amount of friction involved in turning all the way off to all the way on, so it's not as quick to use as a trigger shot.

Great Nozzle

I love keeping my car clean, so I'm always washing my car. I used to use a cheap metal one with a trigger for years, but it was getting a little beat up and I always had to watch that I don't scratch my car with it or drop it and spray myself.
With this nozzle, I don't have to worry about either. I love that it turns off in both directions. It seems very solid and should last a very long time. It doesn't quite spray 40'. I guess it depends on the pressure from your hose bib. I do sometimes miss the trigger because you have to use two hands to turn on and off, but that is a minor inconvenience considering all its advantages.

I personally own seven and very satisfied. They are easy to use on any battery, snowmobile, 4 wheeler, car ect. and the best part is they do not over charge the battery.

LOVE this thing! I no longer have to worry if my motorcycle will start or not.

I permanently attached the leads on my battery so the small connector is tucked in my front grill. When I park my bike, I just plug the connector to the Battery Tender and it's all set. Takes me about 5 seconds. No problema!

This is a great product. I bought two, one for my brothers 2009 BMW R1200RT and one for my 2009 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. I installed the harness on both bikes in just a few moments; it tucks neatly away under the frame. The quick connect is easy to close off with the include cap and easy to open back up. The leads are long enough and it charges well. I like the lights on the front that give me an instant view of the battery condition. Price is right too at about $24. I highly recommend this unit for anyone with a motorcycle.

THE BEST CHARGER/TENDER EVER!

I purchased a tender for my bike and liked it so well I bought two more. One for my brother-in-law and one for my sweetheart. The easy connect to the battery was wonderful, plus the quick clip for disconnecting from the charger is even better. It's a quality built item and I'm sure I'll have years of great service from it.
I'm really looking forward to giving the Tenders and watching the faces when they see how easy it is to install. My brother-in-law's battery is located under his seat, so he has to take the seat off and the battery out to recharge. So he'll really appreciate the easy connect and quick clip. I would definately recommend this item to anyone.

This product has done everything it claims to do. My battery had gone dead over the colder winter months. This tender brought the battery back to charged level and is maintaining it until I can purchase a new battery.

For the money, a great value.

First, let me say after reading most of the reviews here and now having had the 340-S for about a week now, I can write my own preliminary review.

- I received the unit as promised for a decent price: $119. I had no trouble installing the TomTom Home 2.7 app- I use Windows 7 Pro. I went through the initial updates with no major problems.

- I did have a minor glitch: When running initial updates, I was asked by Windows if I wanted to run Scandisk on the TT drive. It was at this point, during additional updates I received an error waring that the updates could not be completed. I ran the Scandisk as recommended by Windows and retried Updates: successful. Same thing on the "Use Onetime Map update" got about 90% and then it fail, No Maps! I called Support and the support tech walked me through how to restart the map download to device. Worked well.

Like any product, there will be some quirks to how it works and is maintained. But for the price, I am quite satisfied.

Parting thought: I only wish I could reduce the size of the map by say, leaving out Mexico. I do not travel there , in a car at least. As it is, I can only have one computer voice available at one time.

Overall, reasonably satisfied with product. Status display is quite readable, However, Text to speech on street names is sometimes unclear, or even incorrect. Full Brightness is not adequate for seeing on a clear sunny day.

Husband loved it

I looked at product reviews on lots of different models. This one had a good screen quality rating and is 4.3 inches, so he can see it well. I'm glad I didn't go any smaller or with a lesser screen. He wouldn't have been able to see the maps clearly and would have to rely on voice instructions. He's 45 and his eyes aren't that bad but he does all his work on computers and is used to good/large monitors.

It starts up real fast, real real if you compare to Garmin. The lane assistance features are good. It doesn't catch signals at times and the only way to make it work is to restart which is really bad. Overall, it is ok.

Disappointed

I bought this for my daughter. I have a Magellan and I found this GPS difficult to use. Worse is the fact that it lost satellite several times so I was stuck. I don't think it's user friendly. When I gave it to my daughter who is far more tech savvy, she said the same thing. Don't buy this model!

Really helps if you miss your street/exit. It'll reroute you to the right direction. Took me to one of my destinations in a longer/different way, but it gets you there!!

Almost got us killed, added 2 hours to trip.

I used the Garmin for the first time last weekend for a trip from Knoxville to Asheville--a trip I make several times a year. It was a test run for the Garmin. On the way over when we got to Hot Springs it wanted us to turn right. I went left anyway through Marshall--it's not a bad road, fairly straight and well kept and will get you to Asheville in about 45 minutes. On the way back from Asheville, I took the turn the Garmin told me to take onto Leicester Highway. We were about half way up this curvy mountain when I started to realize this was not a shorter way to the Marshall route. The Garmin took us over two mountains (the snow has not melted there yet) with some of the windiest roads I've done in a while. Then as we finally approached Hot Springs (wouldn't have known but there was a road sign.) It wanted us to turn left away from Hot Springs and go over Max Patch (a 4200 foot mountain with a gravel road that goes down the other side completely covered with snow.) We would never have made it, but we turned back and found our own way back to Hot Springs and then used the usual route home.
The Garmin route added 1 1/2 hours to the 2 1/2 hour trip because we could only go 10-15 mile per hour up the mountain road it sent us up. Do not trust this machine, if I could return it I would, but I got it from [...] through Amazon and I am a couple of days past the point where I can send it back. I am really upset with this machine.

The product did not arrive as expected but when I contacted the seller they tracked the item and noted an issue with the shipper. The seller immediately shipped a replacement over night and provided me with my order. They then tracked the shipper and worked to recover the missing original order but made all efforts to insure I had my ordered product. This was great customer focus and I would definitely order from them again.

Excellent GPS Mount

I am very pleased with this portable friction mount by Garmin. I've had it for a month and like the idea it sits on the dash and not a window mount. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a reliable GPS mount.

the jourey is still out

at this time I have only had this dash pad for a few weeks, as for functionality is has performed great, no slips or slides and I like the compact design it doesn't look hideous sitting on the dash. My only concern is how it holds up once the summer sun comes calling, the silicone base pad? does it get glued to my dash or break down and leave behind a stain? we will find out as I like the thing enough to run the risk

Stays Put

I really like this. When I first opened the package I was really skeptical that this would stay put. But so far it's doen really well. I am just a little concerned about what may happen to it if I leave it in my car this summer. I hope it doesn't melt.
