Question : 1999 Camaro Headlight Replacement Lenses
I need new plastic headlight lenses for my '99 Camaro. I have found several places online (like Ebay) that sell the entire headlight assembly, but I don't need the whole thing....just the clear plastic covers. Does anyone know if and/or where you can buy just the lensThey are both cloudy/foggy, but my car won't pass inspection because one of them has a big hole in it (yes, I'm a blonde driver...lol), so I need new onesOne more thing. IF I do have to buy the entire assembly, will the ones for a Z28 fit my car (It's just a plain jane V6).
Answer:
hey carla..i am sad to say you will have to buy new assyembly.the ones out of the z-28 should fit.they are the same body.be sitting down when you find out how much they are.let me know if you need more help.

Question : I broke my glasses, what can I do
I was cleaning my lenses when all of a sudden the frame broke in half Right on the nose bridge. They are Flexon (they supposedly are flexible lenses), I've had them for about a year and a half, maybe two years. Now I have to wear my ugly back up glasses I can see without them, but it's just easier to have clearer vision. The backup pair I have on, I got from Lenscrafters, and the ones that broke I got from my optometrist's office. So do I just take them back to the office, will they fix them Or do I have to buy a replacement frameSince I couldn't edit the question, I will add. I meant to say Flexible Frames instead of Flexible Lenses.
Answer:
I hope you do not have flexible lenses But, you should call the office where you bought them. Some frame companies have a two year warranty on their frames and I beleive that Marchon has a 2 year warranty on those. They usually can not be fixed well becuase the nickle/titanium alloy is hard to solder and does not like to hold. If they are no longer under warranty, you might have to order a new frame which might be about $200 give or take $20-$50 depending on your frame. I always reccomend that people have back up glasses that they loe as much as their regular ones so that they do not feel like a dork when their glasses break or get lost. You should feel as comfortable and confident in each pair. It always is amazing to me how many people will pay hundreds of dollars in internet, cable tv, cell phones, ETC but not put more than $300 into their glasses every year or two . Think about how important it is too look good and see well You DESERVE good glasses and you DESERVE good back up glasses. You spend way more on ohter stuff that is not EVEN your eyes Good luck with the warranty thing, and I hope that you get them taken care of fast
