Question : Hella Driving lights...Can I connect them through my Fog lamps switch
Just bought myself some Hella 4000 Driving lights for the night(live in the far north of Ontario Canada)anyways was wondering if it would be a little more simple to connect my wire to my fog lamps and just use my switch allready factory installed. If so does the fuse need to be replaced with a higher voltage. ie. 10amp to 20 or 30 Hope this makes sense and isn't a stupid question Thanks in advance for the help

Question : Are hella headlights actually metal halide lamps,
also wondering if, any headlights are high pressure sodium
Answer:
Hella is just the name brand, they make several types of lights, some are bulbs, others are sealed, high pressure sodium are exterior bulbs used in lamp posts, and in warehouses they require a ballast to work. Metal halide lamps are a type of HID which also require a balast to operate. Unless you have an expensive car with HID the answer is no.
