Clears up polycarbonate head lamps

This worked great. The headlights on my Honda Civic were turning opaque resulting in poor visibility at night. I read about the product in Trailer Life magazine which prompted me to give it a try. It only took me 1 hour to do both headlights and they came out like new. If you have problems with your polycarbonate head lamps turning opaque then I highly recommend this product.

Obviously your not going to get a brand new headlight unit with this product, but you can probably sell your headlights on eBay in condition as VERY GOOD!!!

I don't think there is a product out there that can restore your head lights to brand new condition...at least that is what I am getting from other reviews that complained about that issue.

I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Consider spending 16 dollars before trashing your old head lights or even selling them on eBay in the condition it is. You wont regret it.

Headlight Restoration is a SUCCESS.....

I have added a picture to the product page to show the results of the product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to remove any yellowing/oxidation from the vehicles headlights. It will improve night time visibility, as well the vehicles appearance. Just make sure you follow the instructions by the tee, if reading is a problem for you then go their website [...] and watch the video. Purchase additional kits for extreme yellowing. I found that I used the 3 pads ( sandpaper P800/p500) per headlight to get the results shown on the product page.

Restored the unrestorable

I used this product on a 15 year old vehicle with fogged over, yellow headlights (it was originally clear and white). The instructions are in color and extremely detailed so that you will not miss any step in the process. It was easy to use and took about 30 minutes per headlight. One important bit of advice: make sure you do have a drill that is 1200-1600 rpm so that it works properly, anything less would not be enough; and anything more would be too much.

There is nothing bad to say, it works and works well.

Durable, quality product

This is a very durably built nozzle, with great thick rubber group and a spin that feels really smooth & solid. I can imagine this thing lasting for years. The only drawback I find is that for those who turn it on and off frequently, there is a decent amount of friction involved in turning all the way off to all the way on, so it's not as quick to use as a trigger shot.

Great Nozzle

I love keeping my car clean, so I'm always washing my car. I used to use a cheap metal one with a trigger for years, but it was getting a little beat up and I always had to watch that I don't scratch my car with it or drop it and spray myself.
With this nozzle, I don't have to worry about either. I love that it turns off in both directions. It seems very solid and should last a very long time. It doesn't quite spray 40'. I guess it depends on the pressure from your hose bib. I do sometimes miss the trigger because you have to use two hands to turn on and off, but that is a minor inconvenience considering all its advantages.

Amazing..

I have tried so many microfiber towels when drying my car or removing the wax and finally found these. They are worlds ahead of any towel I have ever used. They suck up the water faster than those "shammy" towels that are supposed to hold tons of water, which really surprised me. They also leave my car so shiny after it is dry--it is like I spent hours detailing my car when it was only minutes. You must buy them. It only takes about 3-4 of these towels to completely dry my car so a little goes a long way. Worth every penny.

Make sure not to over-dry them and don't use fabric softener or sheets, it will affect how much/fast they absorb.

Come with some car wash kit, however, the was kit bottles broke, and this towel was contaminated. Never has a chance to use it.

As with any brand new micro fiber towel, if you are drying your car, you'll notice "lint" left behind after you wipe. They won't hold much water either, I have a MINI Cooper and I was constantly squeezing water off the towel to keep drying the car, and even then, I had to use a second one to get rid of streaks. Word of advice, don't use these to clean glass, it was a nightmare for me, I had to redo my windows with Invisible Glass and regular paper towels. They did however, work great for waxing, I was able to wipe off dried wax with no problems.

Lived Up to its Claim

I am a very picky person and as a 25 year purchasing director, I problably require much more persuasion based upon fact or credible supporting references to sway my opinion. I received the first scratches on my new black car the third day I owned it. Needless to say, it irritated me everytime I looked at my otherwise great looking car. The scratches would almost draw me to them, so finally, I felt I had to stop driving myself crazy and was compelled to find a way to resolve it (the scratches) without going to a body shop or guessing what product at pep boys or the dealership may work. This product (Quixx Paint Scratch Remover) actually was easier to use than the instructions explained and performed at the level it made in its claims. I had several deep scratches (metal shown) that this product blended seamlessly and quickly. The final polish step provided that closing bit of confidence that the repaired area was now sealed. The product worked so well and easily that I started looking for scratches on my wife's car. The only suggestion I have is to make this product available in a larger format (more contents and support pieces# for those that are now believers, can have a provisional amount available for future use. I saw a separate website for a 5 step product that I felt utilized this same or similar process with similar chemicals or formulations#but it had a few more steps and I am not overly mechanically inclined nor felt like spending an hour learning the process (correctly or errantly#. That said, I also did not feel like spending a $100+ dollars on speculation. The Quixx product positioned itself at a price point worth taking a chance. It absolutely satisfied what I needed at 1/6th the price point. I do not know what other variables may make this product work or not work for others #age or type of paint, cleanliness of area being repaired.....)all I know is it worked well for me.

This product works very well. The scratches that were in my car were quite deep on the hood, but the 2 step process made it nearly imperceptable - at first. After a few car washes, it has come back a little, but I am still impressed as to how much it reduced the severity of the scratch. I suppose I could try sanding it, but that is a scary proposition.

The product worked great on very shallow surface scratches. I had 1 deeper scratch which I did not attempt to buff out with the very fine sandpaper they provided.

If your looking for an easy scratch off from your side door,hood.This is the best product ever.We all dread coming back from shopping or groceries and notice that scratch from your door.I notice that immediately when I came up to open the door.I find it inconsiderate,disrespectful,and bad upbringing to those people who does'nt respect other peoples belonging.well,anyway Quixx did the job,got rid of the scratch with the repair #1 (tube) and mirror like finnish with #2 (tube).This product does'nt hide the scratch like most other brand,it actually gets rids off it.Very easy to use.Just follow the enclose instructions.There are some scratches that needed a little more applications then other,but it got rid of it.I save $100 dollars to some detail shop that he was charging.It got rid rid the swirls,rake scratch (people passing by to close).Through my experience...never take your car to a car wash,"turn off engine let the big turning brush does the work",ya right,more scratches then you can count,Do your yourself a favor and your car's finnish...just do it by hand.

Just OK

In my opinion, these microfiber cloths are only just OK. When I opened the package, I found bits of lint stuck all over them, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, and I was distributing the lint wherever I wiped with the cloths. The quality is also just so-so: they are not very thick and not all that soft either, but they're sufficient for wiping things down. While I'm not as happy with the cloths as other reviewers may be, the price is great for the amount you receive. However I genuinely don't think they are as amazing as many have made them out to be, and while I will continue to use them in an effort to decrease my paper towel usage, I definitely will not be buying anymore of these in the future.

I'm not sure if praising cleaning towels means having Manly Points deducted, but these little towels are amazing. Extremely versatile, they can be used for everything from washing the car without risking micro scratches on the paint to washing dishes. They're reusable, of course, so make much more sense than wasteful paper towels. Microfiber cloth is electrostatic by nature and so attracts dust like a magnet. Their design also allows them to be effective in removing many types of dirt without the use of any additional chemicals making them safer for use especially with households that have infants and children or persons with allergies or hypersensitivity to chemicals. They're more absorbent than a sponge and since you're more likely to toss them in the washing machine than a kitchen sponge, they're much more sanitary, since the kitchen sponge is said to be the most germ infested location in the entire house. Even the multiple colors they arrive in is a plus if you want to designate one color for car use, one for kitchen only and one for misc. cleaning. As with any fabric product, it's always a good idea to do an initial laundering before using them to dry or clean anything food or kitchen related. Don't use fabric softener, though, when washing them as the oils in those products will clog the microfibers and reduce the cloth's effectiveness.
