Customer Review :
Wow! Incredible results!
The headlight lens on our 1997 Dodge Caravan were in poor shape. The lens were cloudy, especially the top half. Night driving was difficult. This outstanding 3M product restored the lens to essentially new condition. Read the instructions and watch the video that 3M published on YouTube. It works great! We also replaced the standard headlight bulbs with Sylvania XtraVision bulbs. Night driving is now much better.

Great product
This product worked great on my headlights. They are much clearer. The kit was shipped fast. Thanks!

Excelent product!! Really worked for me
Considering the pretty bad conditions of my headlights, and that I wasn't able to find a driller of the speed recommended (I use one of 850 rpm), the results were far over my expectations. I'm not going to tell you that they are "new", but for the price they are now in pretty good conditions. In my country (Venezuela) is really hard to find spare parts like headlights for many cars, so this must be the best choice that we have. Even if I had found the brand new headlights, the price for sure could have been 20 times what I paid for this kit.

3M Headlight Restoration *Great Product*
This saved me hundreds of dollars in replacement costs on my 1992 GMC Pick-up. Easy to restore your lens in about 45 min. each. I was even able to restore my turn signal lenses with the same kit. (Note: the polishing pad and plastic polishing cream will also safely remove hard water spots from any glass surface. I purchased an 8 oz. bottle of the cream separately).

Perhaps the BEST PRODUCT ever purchased!!
I am quite the skeptic when it comes to products of this nature. There seems to be a do-it-yourself kit for everything, in which most fail to meet expectations.
My wife's 10-year-old Toyota was a near perfect vehicle, with the exception of the headlamps. They seemed to be cursed with how dark and yellow they had become. We were convinced that the only solution would be to replace the lens, at a cost of over $400 for the pair! I decided for under $20 I could give up and hour or two of my time. Then just so I had a basis for complaint, if it did not work, I followed the enclosed instructions to the letter.
O-M-G!! In roughtly ten minutes per lens the headlights appear FACTORY NEW! This is certainly one product that will cure any skeptic. It does precisely what it said, and I even had enough in the kit to complete the task on my truck headlight lens. This product is truly great. The instructions are simple and clear. You simply need to have a power drill, the masking tape to protect the area around the lamp, and I recommend a rag & perhaps bucket of water/sponge to clean up any over-throw of the polishing compound during final steps.
I can assure anyone who buys this, you will NOT be dissapointed!!

Editorial Review :
Zwipes microfiber is a great new technology, with many applications that includes your automobile, boat, RV or motorcycle. Cleaning with microfiber products is fast, easy and environmentally friendly. It is sometimes described as having a magnetic attraction to dirt and dust. Zwipes products attract and instantly remove dust like a magnet. From Glass, stainless steel, chrome, paint, plastic, and wood you can clean with a simple rubbing motion. The miraculous fiber eliminates the need for cleaning solutions. Microfiber contains over 90,000 fibers per square inch, and is the softest and thickest of all microfibers. It is especially effective for trapping particles with static electricity, thus eliminating the need for cleaners and detergents. It is designed to adhere to a surface, literally clinging to grease, oils and film. Each cleaning cloth measures 12" x16". Perfect for the garage and even in the kitchen.
Customer Review :
Makes kitchen cleanup a snap
I was skeptical, but these towels, dampened with plain ol' water, clean our tile counters better than paper towels and cleaning chemicals. One towel cleans the entire kitchen, then get tossed into the laundry, replaced with a fresh, clean towel for the next day.

Zwipes
Super absorbent. Great size. Very soft. I use them almost daily and wash them as much. A couple seem to be wearing out so I will have to wait and see on the durability side. Overall I like the product an if they are durable enough for my needs I will gladly continue to buy and use them.
Rating :
Lint-Full
I purchased these particular microfiber cloths because the first feature in the description is that they are lint-free. However, if you pull one out of the bag and shake it, you can create a small pile of colorful lint. So these are unusable for my original intents and the only reason I'm rating it 3 stars is because they are so useful in many other applications. Just don't expect them to be lint-free.

Great Product
I use these things all around the house. I use them to dust, clean the table,tv and computer monitor. also use them on my car to dry, polish, dust the dash, and for the windows. once i am done using them put them in the washer and they are good as new. also like how the pack came with 3 colors.

We love to use these!
We use these for nearly anything and everything. I bought this kind because of the number of cloths you get for the $ and the reviews. By far the best item I've purchased through Amazon and the price can't be beat!

Editorial Review :
Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber produces amazing mirror-like shine on all finishes. The thick, deep, dual-sided microfiber pile has three time more absorbency than traditional terry towels, and safety edging eliminates the possibility of scratching. It's prewashed for maximum absorbency and is safe with clear coats.
Customer Review :
Meguiar's quality
Puchased for Automotive and Motorcycle cleaning. A great product at a real good price. Perfect when you just want to wipe off a few smudges, or light dust, or use for drying towel.
Rating :
Amazing..
I have tried so many microfiber towels when drying my car or removing the wax and finally found these. They are worlds ahead of any towel I have ever used. They suck up the water faster than those "shammy" towels that are supposed to hold tons of water, which really surprised me. They also leave my car so shiny after it is dry--it is like I spent hours detailing my car when it was only minutes. You must buy them. It only takes about 3-4 of these towels to completely dry my car so a little goes a long way. Worth every penny.
Make sure not to over-dry them and don't use fabric softener or sheets, it will affect how much/fast they absorb.

Good stuff, but never has a chance to use
Come with some car wash kit, however, the was kit bottles broke, and this towel was contaminated. Never has a chance to use it.

I'm sold
I bought a pack of the Zwipes from Amazon and 3 packs of these as well. When I first used these, I wasn't very impressed because these were a lot more expensive than the Zwipes. When I fold them into quarters they tend to slide around in my hand. However, after using these and the Zwipes, I must say these work MUCH better than the Zwipes. I don't have to use as many strokes to clean up the same amount of mess as I do with Zwipes.
These are also much softer and thicker so when I quarter them, it's very plush. Also, the tags on these come off easy as they were designed to be used on automobiles.
I'm glad I made the purchase!

Superior Product
A far better microfiber cloth than others I have used in the past, they are big.

Customer Review :
Doesn't Work as advertised
I tried the product. I have very minor scratch and it did not remove it. I wouldn't waste your money.
Rating :
Not For Me
Had 6" vertical scratch in tailgate of titanium gray 2009 Element. scratch went from hardly visible to deep. Great scratch to prove products worth. All required steps were taken with utmost care with no positive result, not even in the minor part. Went to my Honda dealership and purchased a bottle ($10) of touchup, applied and it looks very good now. I think $20.00 for Quixx is too much, I cannot rate Quixx any higher!
Rating :
Absolute Waste of Time and Money
Does not remove scratches, even light ones. Used as directed and only gave the impression of removing the scratches.
Rating :
Don't expect a miracle
Tried a couple of coats and it appeared to work great, but once you apply the finish the scratches come back out, maybe not as much without it. After you run the car through the wash you may realize that you pretty much wasted your time and money, so much for the permanent fix it says on the box. Still may be the best scratch repair product out there.

keyed car
I have a five year old maseratti quatroporte with 17,000 miles on it. Kept in a garage and in great condition. Someone keyed the rear panels and I was faced with a costly and time comsuming paint repair. I thought I would try these scratch repair kits advertised on TV, but checked with Consumers Guide which had the highest rating for the "Quixx paint scratch remover". I followed the directions and the results were 95% perfect. You can't notice the scratches unless you lean down and look really closely. It was well worth the $20.

Editorial Review :
Lexol Leather Conditoner Spray 16.9 oz. (500mL) A unique emulsion that feeds leather to keep it soft and supple while maintaining strength and durability. Regular use will maintain leather in top condition and not leave the surface slick or greasy, unlike other all purpose products. Work into the leather with a clean, soft, 100% cotton cloth or Lexol Applicator Sponge; allow the conditioner to be fully absorbed (15-20 minutes) and then buff off the excess with another soft, clean, 100% cotton cloth. Use 4-5 times a year to keep your leather in top condition. You do not have to clean the leather every time you condition, but you must condition every time you clean it. Do not use on suede.
Customer Review :
Good Stuff!
Would buy again. Good Stuff! First Clean and then treat your leather. Easy to use and makes leather feel good. Also looks great!
Rating :
bottle and packaging poor
Product seems to work fine but the bottle top was damaged in shipping because the bottles were not protected properly... Shipper did not put any packing material in the box so the bottle slid around inside the box.. One bottle top was broken right off.... Therefore I will not buy anything from Amazon again... I tried to contact someone there but they keep themselves hidden from anything negative

Works great on leather couches
The leather on our couches was becoming stiff from alot of use. I decided to try this product, and I'm very pleased with the results. It took a couple of coats to soften in places, but a beautiful shine came from the very first coat. It made our old couches look chic, new, and protected.

Certainly does work the best
I have just bought this product after using some of the cheaper ($6) leather conditioners for a while. This one certainly seems to be the best at rejuvenating leather. You can feel the waxy film on your fingers after applying it, which you don't notice with other conditioners, and shows it has somethign substantial in it.
All my vehicles have had leather seats and after a few years they have all had dry, cracked creases. I have just got a "new" used minivan with leather seats and I want to ensure they don't go the same way. I have to admit I've neglected seats compared with the rest of the vehicle.
I used this product on my 1998 pickup's tan-colored front seats which are creased and starting to crack in places. They were pretty dirty and the only way I found to get the grime out was using a Magic Eraser and leather cleaning solution. This is a pretty harsh technique, but effective, apart from in the deepest creases. It did seem to take the shine off the leather, which was a worry. Using the Lexol conditioner, letting it soak in for 15 mins and then buffing with a microfiber cloth, the sheen is back and the leather feels much more supple. It will never return to its "new" state, but it should last a few more years with regular applications (not sure but maybe every 3-4 months?). It takes some effort to get through the stickiness at the first buffing, but the surface quickly eases up and a nice sheen (not a false shine) appears.
On my minivan, the leather came up like it was just new. It smells good too!
I bought this product at my local Advance Auto (sorry Amazon!) and would certainly suggest you pay the extra $3-4 over the other conditioners as it really seems to be properly designed to replace the oils in the leather, not just put a protectant shine on the surface. I'm always sceptical about product claims (since they usually exaggerate performance), but this one seems to be the real deal.
Try it.
UPDATE (Dec 3 2009):
The stiff leather has certainly become more supple after applying this product - it works really well!

Questions & Answers
Question : What Dashboard Car Care Products Work Best?
I bought some over the counter products with mixed results to try and get rid of some water spots from the sunroof being accidentally left open. Nothing seems to get the job done. I'm think about using some very fine grade sand paper to sand them out, then a buff it, if all else fails. It's a strip of black plastic that runs the length of the bottom part of the front windshield.

Question : What is a good car care center to get your car maintenance done? Is Meineke a good and reliable place?
have you been to Meineke? what was your experience there? What about other places like Avis Lube, Jiffy Lube?thanks
Answer:
Might look for a local gas station garage whom has been there for quite awhile. These usually have customers whom will not go to anyone else to have their service done. These people generally treat you like a good friend and will let you know what should be done now and what you may need in the future, say they do the tire rotation and balance for you and notice that your brakes are getting thin but not at the point that you have to change them today, they will say that maybe next time you come in for your next service that you might want to think about getting the brakes done at the same time. In my experience most shops like Meineke, Jiffy Lube, don't really car about the customer and will try to push for unnecessary work to line their pocket books.I agree with Frank for I am an independent mechanic.
