Stoner GUST Easy Air Duster 12 oz. Aerosol Can is like having a portable air compressor that you hold in your hand. Stoner's Gust Easy Air Duster is a blast of extremely clean, filtered, moisture-free, high pressure propellant that won't scratch or harm glass, optics, metals, plastics, rubber, or delicate electronic equipment. With GUST, there's no need to wipe. Simply blow away dust, dirt, and contaminants by squeezing the trigger. GUST's unique "variable pressure" trigger lets you control the dusting force.

Useful item and Easy to use.

Great item does exactly what it is supposed to do, though you can find this item elsewhere under other brands for less expensive, if you don't mind going to the store. I bought this one since it was readily accesible on line and I ordered other items along with it. I do like the size of the can. After using it to clean out four computers, I still have plenty of air left to store the can away for next time.

Best brand for a Computer Scientist!

This air duster product is one of the very best. As a computer scientist, I use compressed air on many products... CDs, DVDs, Cameras, Monitors, Computer hardware, and even glasses. This has NO BITTERENT in the product.

BITTERENT-based products leave a horrible film on fine hardware, and even spraying it in a room will ruin coffee, soda, and leave a horrible-tasting film on your lips just being around it in a well-ventilated area.

Again, this is NOT a BITTERENT product.

I always use this to blow off fine debris from DVDs and glass. And, on glass and monitors, using this BEFORE cleaning with a fine & clean microfibre cloth will prevent deep debris-scratches from expensive sunglasses and monitors.

A great product for what it costs and that it's PRIME ELIGIBLE!

Probably The Best Deal Out There, Although Pressure Can Be Better

This is undoubtedly one of the best deals around for canned air, cheap and I got it pretty fast even with Free Super Saver Shipping. It works great although for dust that has been accumulated for quite some time is not that effective, it takes the outer layers but it leaves the dust layers in direct contact with the object. I tried it on a keyboard and I'll have to use either a stronger canned air or a liquid product (in this case I guess no canned air would do the trick)

One advice: Read the fine print. If you are accustomed to use canned products you may shake the can from time to time just as you would do with canned paint or cleaners, but what this will do is just reduce the flow of air our of the nozzle and reduces its overall effectiveness

Good Deal....

Just about everyone at one time or another has either used, or owned a can of compressed air. For those little hard to reach places where the old stand by of puckering up ones lips doesn't cut it, it can just about clear the field. Most of these compressed air brands are all but the same as far as its propellant. I mean how many different formulas can there be for compressed air. It basically all comes down to the delivery system, that is the nozzle, and the price. Amazon sells a lot of different brands of compressed air. I believe Memorex is the oldest going name in the air duster business. At least they claim to be. However it is also the brand with the worst nozzle design of them all. I have never used a Memorex that didn't eventually jam, break, pinch,...etc. The Stoner has the same design, but a little more quality. I buy Stoner's all the time locally and never have a problem with them. Here on Amazon I feel it is the best deal going for compressed air. It's not the cheapest, but at the time of this writing it ships free when bundled. I would suggest buying these cans in bulk anyway. Saves time, money, and a lot of aggravation over the long run. The Stoner also is a full 12 oz. as opposed to the 10 oz Memorex spray. I highly recommend that you never be without some kind of air duster in your home. For it serves a purpose that when its really needed, absolutely nothing else will really serve as a reasonable facsimile. I also recommend the Stoner brand here on Amazon, and, ordering it either in bulk or bundled so you can take advantage of the free shipping...

just enough to clean a computer one time. total ripoff

i never purchased aerosol products, but i needed to clean my laptop. i learned the hard way when i found out 12 oz of this stuff is enough to clean a computer one time.

so this is a bad deal, it is best to buy in bulk because i cannot spend 15 bucks to clean my laptop one time.

Easy to Use and Wash for ReUse

These applicator sponges are the best. They are very easy to use and they are easy to throw in the wash after you are done so you can re-use them. SWEET.

Wash first!!

This works okay but a word of caution is to wash this first otherwise you get bits of lint over everything you are trying to clean. It does wash out good so no problem there just wash first to avoid frustration over the lint problem.

Work well

They are nice applicator sponges. I needed them to qualify for free shipping or else I would have just used clean rags. But...

Simply product

Nothing special here. Just a firm pad wrapped in cotton to apply cleaner/conditioner. It washes easily and applies well.

Regular use will maintain leather in top condition and not leave the surface slick or greasy, unlike other all purpose products. make my steering wheel slip, loose grip

I applied it few days ago, i don't feel too many differences, may be my leather is still new and this product will offer the protection.

I bought the cleaner and conditioner together, I don't know which one, but it makes my leather wheel slip, really uncomfortable, I don't know whether it will become better in the future, the slip wheel make me feel unsafe now.

Not what I hoped it was

I bought this product to spray on a jacket and hat, hoping that it would be easier to spray on/wipe off excess than it is to apply a paste or (thick) liquid leather conditioner. It isn't.

After thoroughly shaking the bottle, I applied it to a hat. The conditioner squirted out of the nozzle; no spray here. It was much thicker than I had hoped, and while that isn't necessarily a bad thing, the end result was that I spent as much time rubbing it in as I would have a paste. Being liquid, my applicator cloth absorbed more than it does when applying a paste, too. In other words, more waste.

The other annoyance surfaced after it dried. A lot of white residue shows in the surface texture ("cracks") of the leather. Not the look I usually like on something I'm wearing.

In summary, the cons are:
* Not a true "spray-on" conditioner, but rather thick-liquid-in-a-spray-bottle
* Excessive waste (vs. paste conditioners)
* No time savings (vs. paste conditioners)
* Very visible residue after drying

Still looking for the pros.

bottle and packaging poor

Product seems to work fine but the bottle top was damaged in shipping because the bottles were not protected properly... Shipper did not put any packing material in the box so the bottle slid around inside the box.. One bottle top was broken right off.... Therefore I will not buy anything from Amazon again... I tried to contact someone there but they keep themselves hidden from anything negative

works great, no complaints

I've never used a leather conditioner before and bought this to use on the leather interior of my "new" 2005 jaguar s-type. The leather is still in good shape, so I didn't see a big change, though it looks a little more glossy, but not oily or anything. I hope regular application will keep the seats looking nice. I tried it on some beat up leather shoes and they look much better now!

Made Leather Couch Look New

I used this product on my Flexsteel leather couch, a very high-quality couch. It's a super long couch because it is actually two loveseats assembled together. Each loveseat has an arm, one left and the other right. Putting them together makes it one giant piece. It's a lot of leather and that's why I bought this large container.

I found that I had to buff a LOT more than I expected. It took days for the conditioner to completely sink in after application, but I applied a heck of a lot thinking I was saving time. You should be aware that buffing will probably be required and it will take some time for the leather to absorb the conditioner.

The result is remarkable. The color of the leather seems more vibrant and it has a shine. Ultimately, this is protective of the leather and will make it last a lot longer. In the meantime, it makes the leather look richer.

One thing you will have a lot of trouble figuring out based on looking at product information for a large piece of leather furniture is what type of product should be used on it. If you have an expensive piece, most likely there won't be instructions for this. That's because the manufacturer doesn't want to take chances by informing you which conditioner you may use. The retail representatives that I questioned didn't know anything about treating leather.

Lexol works just fine on an expensive leather couch as my experience showed.

Excellent product.

See my review of the cleaner to read my "smoky couch" story. This stuff helped some with the smell, and made the leather much softer and more pliable. Excellent product.

Works perfectly!

We have 16 year old, distressed leather couch and chair. It was a rich brown, "unfinished", cowboy style leather. Over the years it had faded to uneven gray and was very dry. Lexol conditioner was an absolute miracle! They are restored to brand new with no oily residue at all. We were ready to give them away and buy new! Highly recommended!!

Lexol Leather pH Cleaner Spray, 16.9 oz. Deep-cleans dirt, oil and leftover perspiration salts that build up and destroy leather interiors. Lexol Cleaner is adjusted to the pH of leather, so it will not harm the finish or fibers of the leather. Rinses easily and quickly with water, leaving no residue or dulling film. Apply with either a damp Lexol Applicator Sponge or a damp soft cloth to work up a foam that lifts out the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with another clean, wet sponge or cloth. Once all traces of cleaner have been rinsed off, pat dry with a soft, 100% cotton towel. To keep your interior in top condition, clean the leather about twice a year and immediately follow with Lexol Conditioner. Do not use on suede.

Didn't work for me

I had a person out to my house to repair a leather car seat; he recommeded this product to treat my furniture. I found that it takes the color out of my furniture upon testing it in a small spot. I now have a full bottle of product I cannot use as it strips the color from the leather. I had heard great things about the product from this person; beware, it may or may not work for you.

It works

Great leather cleaner but it doesn't work well with microfiber cloths. Had to rub it with hands to make foam and spray some water once in a while as it dries. But at the end cleaned my black leather seats very well. Recommended.

Question : What is a good car care center to get your car maintenance done? Is Meineke a good and reliable place?
have you been to Meineke? what was your experience there? What about other places like Avis Lube, Jiffy Lube?thanks

Answer:
Might look for a local gas station garage whom has been there for quite awhile. These usually have customers whom will not go to anyone else to have their service done. These people generally treat you like a good friend and will let you know what should be done now and what you may need in the future, say they do the tire rotation and balance for you and notice that your brakes are getting thin but not at the point that you have to change them today, they will say that maybe next time you come in for your next service that you might want to think about getting the brakes done at the same time. In my experience most shops like Meineke, Jiffy Lube, don't really car about the customer and will try to push for unnecessary work to line their pocket books.I agree with Frank for I am an independent mechanic.
