Excellent product

Excellent product. It works exactly as advertised. Plastic is difficult to polish - this product does the job.

My only suggestion on this order would be the shipping time / delivery time. With your third-party vendors, the leadtime is greater and the descriptions of the leadtime are not very accurate.

I purchased this product in hopes of cleaning a magnifying lens. I followed steps 1 and 2 and there was a difference in the appearance of the scratches. It didn't remove all scratches, but enough to prevent purchasing a new magnifying lens.Novus Polish Kit, Plastic Polish & Scratch Remover, 2oz

Polish Kit

Kit arrived quickly. Used the polish the first day. Worked really well on scratches on our stove. Heavier scratches took more applications. They faded, but not completely. Overall a very good product I would recommend.

An awesome product!

I bought this product to remove minor scratches from the plastic display cover on my Onkyo stereo receiver. I used the number 2 bottle and polished the plastic for several minutes. I then let the polish dry and then I wiped it off with a dry portion of the supplied paper-towel-like cloth that came with the product. To my surprised and delight, all of the minor scratches were gone. I did not have to use the number three bottle, that is for more serious scratches. I completed the process with the number one bottle to clean and protect the polished plastic. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has minor scratches to plastic and want them removed.

Good all around kit

This kit is good value for all the stuff you get. The plastic stuff didn't do much for me but the rest of it seemed to work well. I would recommend this if you get a good deal on it. Otherwise buying the things you need individually would be more economical.

We received our package today, 2-13, even though it as guaranteed by 2-17, we have all we need to buff-out our cars, and I bought the reduced box-damaged one, and it is fine, I don't give a d if it's box is damaged, Amazon is the best, buy their 'in-house warehouse damaged stuff', a good buy.

works very very well. much better than my old sheepskin-type mitt. seems to trap dirt well and not scrape it along the paint as you wash. also, holds water well and cleans up easily. it just feels high quality and does a very good job of washing all the irregular surfaces on a vehicle. i would recommend it for sure.

Lexol Leather pH Cleaner 33.8 oz. Deep-cleans dirt, oil and leftover perspiration salts that build up and destroy leather interiors. Lexol Cleaner is adjusted to the pH of leather, so it will not harm the finish or fibers of the leather. Rinses easily and quickly with water, leaving no residue or dulling film. Apply with either a damp Lexol Applicator Sponge or a damp soft cloth to work up a foam that lifts out the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with another clean, wet sponge or cloth. Once all traces of cleaner have been rinsed off, pat dry with a soft, 100% cotton towel. To keep your interior in top condition, clean the leather about twice a year and immediately follow with Lexol Conditioner. Do not use on suede.

Excellent product.

This stuff, along with the leather conditioner, works great. I picked up a cheap leather couch for the basement, but didn't realize the previous owners were heavy smokers. The day after moving it in, I could smell it from my foyer. This handled 90% of the smoke smell, and made it presentable. The conditioner got another 5% of the smoke smell out, and made the leather much more pliable and soft. It also worked great on my leather car seats. Good product.

Great leather cleaner!

I have tried some of the other cleaner/preserver products for leather, but none has worked as well as this for cleaning. You'll need a separate preserver, but you won't be upset about that once you see just how dirty your leather used to be! works well, and plays well with others...! Just use plenty of water and sud it up for maximum effect. If you skimp, it may not work as well for you - but then again, I didn't skimp, but I've barely used any product. This liter may last for life.

This product works very good, it cleaned and livened up my leather couch. There were some greasy stains that were hard to get out but it took care of those real well. Thanks to the reviews here I decided to try some and was not disappointed, it seems that this product is hard to find locally at the stores and you probably need to purchase it on the web. The local hardware stores had leather cleaner that was more expensive and I didn't see much reason to believe it could work very well either yet most stores around here will usually let you return a product if it doesn't work.

Makita excellence

This Makita polisher is exactly what I expected. Great product at a great price. Light weight compared to some others I've tried yet seems to be plenty powerful. Handy carrying bag is a nice added feature as well.bonus.

Good initial impression

I've got about three hours of use on this tool and it is everything I expected from Makita.
It is more quiet than other tools, never lacking for power, has a wide range of speeds and a very gentle soft start.
My only issues are with things other than the tool itself You have to go outside Makita for things other than polishing bonnets and I would have preferred a kit box to the bag. At the very least the bag should have some pockets on the inside (this one does not).
I do a lot of bare metal polishing and the wool bonnets do not work well for that so I purchased some foam pads from other vendors.
This polisher has no problem flat or on an angle.
I have not tried it as a sander.

Polisher great, pads not so great

I found the Makita 9227C to be an excellent buffer. After struggling with my previous buffer for many years, the Makita with it's adjustible speed made the buffing of my sailboat better and easier. The pads that came with the buffer are another story. The wool pad continually kept throwing off fuzz, even after many uses. I did not use the other pad because I use microfiber polishing cloths with the carnuba wax for final polish.

This is my first ever rotary, never detailed with a rotary before. All I could say is that I don't really want to try anything else. Start up is very smooth, due to a sensitive trigger, and bunch of other cons you just have to experience to fully appreciate this machine.

Makita 9227C Polisher

I have been detailing cars,trucks, & boats for over 30 years. I purchased the Makita 9227C after borrowing the Makita to try from a friend of mine. Overall I think the technology has improved since I started buffing cars in 1975. I like the unit itself as it is comfortable to use with the bale handle & the variable speed is also a plus. However my power cord has already frayed without even getting caught wrapped around the buffer. The Makita is only 2 months old! I had to send it out for repair costing me $40.00 & was told the cord has NO WARRANTY forcing me to use my 23 year old Black & Decker which I have never had a problem with.
