"Stoner" Car Care Kit
The glass cleaner in this kit is absolutely awesome! Easy to use, no streaks or residue left behind. Leaves the windows or glass clean with a beautiful shine. The pricing for everything in the kit is very reasonable and much cheaper than the retail store prices. That is IF you can find all these products in a store. I personally was only able to find 4 out of the 12 products in this kit. As it was they were all over three times the price.

Lucky Earth Waterless Car Wash lets you wash your whole car, inside and out, with no water, hose, soap or any traditional way of washing a car. Directions 1.) Start by moving your car to a shaded location. 2.) Spray a little bit of Lucky Earth Waterless Car Wash on a microfiber towel and then spray it on your car one panel at a time. 3.) Softly wipe the dampened towel across the surface to pick up dirt. Then gently wipe the surface with a clean, dry microfiber towel to buff and bring out the shine. All of Lucky Earth products are easy to use and environmentally safe.
Customer Review :
Worked GREAT on my Diesel VW Bug
I'll have to admit I was a little bit skeptical of this product--how good could a "waterless" car wash product really be?
I liked the fact that the ingredients were VOC Free, fragrance free, made with a coconut surfactant, and non-toxic, but I wondered if it could really clean my car. Yes, I was impressed that the founders created the product because their daughter had chemical sensitivities (my husband does, too, and it can really complicate modern life). But would it clean my car? I mean, really CLEAN my car?
The answer is a resounding YES!! I used the kit as directed (Waterless Car Wash on the outside, Tire Shine on the dash & interior, using the supplied microfiber towels--just spray it on & wipe it off) and it cleaned my little "electric green" VW beetle in no time. Better yet, it left the exterior with a nice shine like a wax job. It only took me about 20 minutes to clean the entire exterior of my Beetle, and, another surprise, I was also able to use the Car Wash to wash the windows, sunroof, and windshield with no streaking and no filming. I'm really, really impressed.
Even better, it helped clean some "gunk" off my dashboard that I'd been unable to previously remove, despite multiple attempts with Armorall, olive oil, and other suggested remedies. Apparently, the previous owner had tried to "improve" a small area of the dash around the radio with some shoeshine or something that became really sticky and waxy. When I applied the Lucky Earth Tire Shine (also for dashboards), I FINALLY got this stuff off. After 3 quick applications, the Lucky Earth product was able to remove what I previously had just resigned myself to living with. It got the entire dash clean and gave it a nice clean sheen (not over-shiny or slippery, either). I was so impressed, I even tried an off-label use and used the tire shine on the shiny black keypad of a Cuisinart convection oven--it worked great here, too, wiping fingerprints from the keypad and giving it a like-new finish (just like I used to do with Jubilee Kitchen Wax, which I can't seem to find any more).
The best part, to me, of the interior cleaning is that there was absolutely NO petrochemical smell in my car afterward. Not immediately afterward, and in the next few days of getting in and out of the car, I noticed how clean the interior now smelled. No more petrochemical odors! Just clean.
It is truly waterless & having lived in New Mexico (largely a desert), I can appreciate the value of water. You really can wash the exterior of the car WITHOUT using any water whatsoever. You will most definitely need some water to wash the microfiber towels when you're finished, but hey, you'll being doing a load of laundry sometime in the next week anyway, won't you?
Highly, highly recommended; I'm definitely buying more of this when I use up what I've got (and yes, it's true, one bottle will wash the average sized car 7-10 times. I think I'll get about 15 washes for my little Beetle).

worked as promissed
I finally got a chance to try the Starter Kit. Packaging is simple and ready to use out of box. Direction is easy to follow and you are ready to use it after 30 seconds of opening the box. I tried the kit on my wife's Murano which hasn't been washed for 2 months. I tried not to spray too much at first but found out not easy to clean the dirt out of the car. I decided to spray ample cleaning solution over 80% of the cleaning area then wiping the dirt off the car became easier. I cleaned the car in about 30 minutes, it's not perfect but got the car 95% clean. I did notice I already used about 1/4 of the bottle. The bottle said it can clean 5-7 times, but I guess it depends on the size of your car and how dirty it is. I don't know how environmentally friendly the product is but I didn't have to use any water as indicated.

Great kit
Works great. This is a very handy, inclusive kit. The products work well and the cloths clean up easily in the washing machine. I was a bit skeptical about this one but I am VERY pleased with the results!! Even hubby loves this one and keeps using it on his own car. Handy, convenient, and provides great results. Get his and hers sets!
Rating :
Great Idea, But Not Terribly Practical
This kit is a great idea and does exactly what it says it does. It will wash your car clean without the use of toxic substances and without a hose. Unfortunately, it's terribly impractical to spritz the cleaner all over your car and then wipe it off with the included microfiber cloths (which are actually quite nice). My hand got tired just pumping the bottle--never mind wiping it off with the cloth!
I think this would be ideal for motorcycles, scooters, and yes, even bicycles. I used it to clean my bicycle and man, it did a great job! Best of all, I didn't have to break out the hose, the bucket or an assortment of brushes. I even washed my bike right in the middle of the living room floor!
Great idea, great product, but just not practical for larger vehicles.

A for Idea, D for Execution
First, let me say that I am a bit skeptical about the idea of spraying something on our dirty car and then scrubbing. This seems a recipe for scratches in the clear coat.
That said, I gave it a shot, anyway. I used around 1/3rd of a bottle labeled "Contains 7-10 washes!" to try to get some tree sap off of our Toyota Corolla. I say try because I failed.
While this product seems to be a good idea (who doesn't want to save the environment?), it fails in accomplishing its task. It doesn't clean our car. Sure, it takes off a little dust and dirt, but WATER would have done that, without all the fancy chemical extracts from coconuts. It utterly failed, though, to take the tree sap, bird droppings, and splattered insects off of the car. Y'know, the stuff that is the reason that we use so much water and harsh detergents.
Realistically, you'd probably have better luck by diluting your dishsoap about five to tenfold in tapwater, putting it in a spray bottle, and using that instead with the towels. But, man, they are some nice towels.
Also, as an important safety note, this contains ingredients from tree nuts. That you are atomizing with a spray bottle. If there is anyone in the NEIGHBORHOOD with a peanut or tree nut allergy, you might want to have them don a gas mask. Just saying.
Not impressed. Will not be acquiring any more of this.

Questions & Answers
Question : Can I use automobile leather protection products on my leather sofa?
I bought a leather sofa, and now want to clean and protect it. The car care kits seem to be more economical than buying something from a furniture store. Do products made for automobile leather work for furniture leather? Is there a difference between the two upholsteries that prevent the products from being interchangable?
Answer:
Leather cleaners/protectants are good for leather! The auto industry products contain more "UV" protection for obvious reasons, and in smaller quantities, for smaller seats. I have used these products on my leather easy chair for a long time, and the only downside I have found, is it makes my chair a little 'slicker' than the fur nature store products.

Question : how can i clean the K & N air filter in my car? is it ok if it gets wet during a car engine wash?
I want to clean the K & N air filter in my car, its a 2007 Ford Ikon, probably unheard of outside India. Point being, none of the shops here have the air filter cleaning kit. Is there any home grown and effective way to take care of this? Also, is it alright if the filter gets wet while an engine wash is being done?
Answer:
Your engine's air filter should not get wet merely from going through a car wash, and it would dry out on it's own even if it did.Methinks perhaps thou art bullshitting us.

Question : What do you have for a hobby?"?
Ok so basically my BF thinks I need a hobby. He loves to work on his motorcycle, truck, woodworking, welding etc. I would also like to add that pretty much anything that is left after monthly expenses goes to his hobbies. Pretty much the guy is never bored but always broke. Me on the other hand I don’t do much. Sleeping is not a hobby yet I think I could make it one. I sometimes play video games and I lose interest within 10 or 15 minutes, no matter the game. I am not artsy, mechanically inclined, and because of a knee injury I am limited as to what I can do outside. I don’t like wasting money so the idea of having to invest in something that is not important seems ridiculous to me. However he thinks I need to do something other then clean and sleep (which is pretty much what I do when I am not working) My biggest problem is that I get bored with everything. I start a model I don’t care to finish it. I can do word puzzles and such but have never finished a book. I do read but usually it’s to kill time on a bus (I don’t drive). I have had a few things I thought might be cool like building a gas powered car/plane but the starter kit is several hundred and upgrade and extra parts makes that price even higher. I will never spend that kind of money on what I consider being a “toy” and not needed in “real” life. I have asked coworkers and friends that have hobbies and they like to make jewelry, crafts, clay work, cooking, sewing, stained glass, writing, soap or candle making, designs on shirts (like a printing press) and none of that interests me and most of it costs a ton of money to get supplies, tools, colors, etc. I can’t imagine spending 50 bucks or more on something I probably won’t finish and that will get stored away and eventually throw away because I needed to “try” something new.It boils down to the fact that when I am bored I sleep because I am really not interested in anything. I don't know what I can do that won't cost me money or VERY little money and that will keep me interested for more then a few minutes. I also am not a people person so things like volunteering at a soup kitchen are out. I could volunteer at an animal shelter except I don't drive and even the closest one on a bus would take hours of travel time.So I figured maybe the people on here would have a suggestions.
Answer:
I suggest doll houses. While it's true some can be very expensive, you can buy plans cheaply online and make the actual houses out of foamcore. Check out this book. http://store.doverpublications.com/0486234932.html they make this house out of wood, but as I said you can make it out of foamcore. I recommend it because foamcore is easier to cut and you don't need anything fancier than an X-Acto knife and a straight edge. Then you have the option of either buying furniture for it, for making all the furniture yourself. (That's really fun.) If you buy the house furniture that can get really expensive. However, a lot of the fun of doll houses that are hobbies and not collector doll houses, is in using what you find to create art.For example, those plastic toy fans, make great spiral staircases. Those cheap plastic combs with no handles (not a long black ones the ones with about three or four teeth) make excellent headbaords for beds.An aspirin bottle embellished with buttons and little bits of lace and spray-painted gold, can make a great antique water heater. A cardboard egg carton cut into pieces and make excellent stones for a path or a Castle Interior. Small patterned wrapping paper makes excellent wallpaper.felt makes good carpet.None of these ideas are very expensive. Some foam core board, a book of plans, and X-Acto knife are all you really need. You can spend more money on it later once you discover how much you love it. :-) by the way, if you want to see a realy cool dollhouse that can never be considered a toy, check out this dollhouse. http://www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/fairycastle/

Question : What do you think of my short story?
please let me know what you think of this story that i wrote, any feedback is great: The First Day OF Eternal Happiness by Justin A.K. GielfeldtOne day, Justin was walking down a path in the forest. It was a nice day out,, the birds were chirping, the wind was breezing and the sun was shining. He took the same route every day he walked. He would leave his car at the gate, then go through the entrance and up the path to the top of the hill. One day, while walking through the forest. He spotted a girl lying in a ditch. He could tell that she had not been there for long because the slight breeze had not yet blown away the skid marks she had made on the ground while falling. Justin had to roll over the lady, to see if she was alive. The moment he rolled her over he could not beleive his eyes, his heart skipped a beat at that very moment, this woman was beautiful. Justin tried everything he possibly could to have her come too, but she just could wake up. So Jusitn picked her up and carried her to his car. As he was carrying her down the path she started to move, and come to. Justin stopped and looked at her, and the moment she opened her eyes, she looked at him, and couldn't speak, she had felt the same thing that Jusitn had just a few moments earlier. "Thank-you." the lady said, as Justin was putting her to her feet. "Are you okay?" Justin replied. "I mean, you were.. you looked like..." he couldn't even finish his words he was so astounded by the beauty in her eyes. The woman put her hand upon her head then looked at her palm only to see a little bit of blood "Yeah I am fine, I guess I just tripped or something while I was jogging"Justin walked her back to his car to help clean up her scrape, as he was wiping down her forhead he asked "so... what is your name? if you don't mind me asking.." The girl looked at Justin and giggled a little bit. "My name is Amanda, whats yours?" Justin looked at her and replied "That is a beautiful name, my name is Justin, say, would you like to go out to dinner tonight? If you aren't busy of course.""Yeah I'd love to" Amanda said, smiling at Jusitn wile her eyes sparkled in the sun. "Okay cool, So uhm... whats your address and when should I pick you up?" He asked. Amanda wrote down her address and phone number on a piece of gauze that Justin had in his first-aid kit. "Pick me up around say seven?" She looked at Justin with a big gleeming smile. Justin looked somewhat nervous. "Alright, so yeah seven, cool i'll se you then." Justin watched Amanda get into her car and drive off as he waved to her he could notice the smile on her face. Later that night, Justin arived at Amanda's, and just as he was about to knock on the door, it opened. There stood Amanda more beautiful than he had seen earlier, in nothing but a comfy pair of jeans and a purple hoodie covering a black female tank-top. Justin was glad because he had dressed in the similar manner. "So do you have any plans on where to go?" Amanda asked as Justin was letting her into his car. He ran around his care and got in "Yeah I was thinkng of going to this little italiano restaraunt, I hope you like pasta" Amanda looked at him with a giant smile on her face and said "I love pasta!". During dinner, Justin and Amanda talked about many things, and came to realize that they had so much in common. They both liked the same music, grew up on the same television shows, loved that same movies, and had facination in the same styles of art. They were both dumbfounded but their emensley wide likings of the same things, that they both knew that there had to be something there. Something that just clicked between the two of them.As Justin pulled up to Amandas Home, he turned of the car and slowley turned to her and said "Okay, this might sound weird and maybe a little creepy. But, I just feel that we have a really big and good, connection, and I was wondering if you would want to go out with me?" Amanda looked at Justin with a blank face at first, so blank that Justin started to think that it was maybe a bad idea to ask her so soon. "I feel the same way, and yes I would love to go out with you Justin." She lent over to Justin and kissed him on the lips, as she pulled away, both of them looked into eachothers eyes and smiled. Amanda got out of the car, looked in the window, and said to Justin "Call me in the morning, okay?" Justin smiled as he looked at her and nodded "Yes, I will." he replied. As Amanda walked into her house, and Justin began to drive off, they both froze for a moment and came to the realization of how happy they were gogin to be with one another. They both knew that this was going to be the begining of the rest of their lives, bringing them eternal happiness with one another. The End

Question : How much do you think this 2000 Mustang is worth?
Here is the listing details and pics."i have a 2000 ford mustang. blue in color, v6 & a automatic.it has light damage in the front bumper due to all of the holes & hills. The front bumper was cracked when i got the car & the pecies that are chiped were barely hanging then. Nothing that 80 dollars couldnt fix.it has 112xxx miles, very cheap on gas, runs & drives great. Never been wrecked, clear title, & ive never had a problem at all out of it other than the recent exhaust leak that it has, but its minor. all it needs is a gasket which is 10.00 at advance, ive checked just havent had time to get it fixed. Custom sun roof, body kit, pioneer CD player, light up gas and break peddals blue neon underglow, tinted windows, blue & black seat covers, blue and grey interior, 17" inch ultra spyder chrome rims with new good year tires & the factory rims with tires. New halo projector headlights not even three weeks old that have blue led lights around them. This car has been well taken care of, if it was up to me i would keep it! Right now i have two 12 inch audiobahns in it with a 1600 watt legacy amp that also has blue led lights, but i haven't made up my mind if I'm going to let it go with it or not (depends on how much i sale it for.) I have a aftermarket spoiler (thats in the picture) and the origional factory spoiler. A aftermarket grill thats on it now & the factory grill. clear tail lights & origional tail lights. Car is clean inside & out."Here are the pics that were listed.http://img110.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mustangtk4.jpghttp://img120.imageshack.us/img120/325 9/mustangny2.pngHow much do you think is a fair price for it. They are asking $5200 obo.lmao......FYI: its a car i'm looking to buy maybe. not mine.
Answer:
I do think it is a little high also. I have a 2003 mustang v6 with 102,000 miles, and I recently checked the Kelly Blue Book and it was around 5,000 dollars. You have more miles with minor damage. I would say 3,500 dollars should be a good price for that.

Question : Step-mom says I shouldn't console my daughter when she's hurt?
My daughter is 8, from a previous marriage. I have been married to my wife (my daughter's step-mom) for exactly 3 years. Now my wife has a PhD in pediatric neuropsychology, but has no children of her own. And I occasionally get the feeling she cares more about her cats than kids. So that's the background. Anyways today I was going to take our dogs to the dog park. I brought my daughter with me. We parked the car, got out, my daughter asked if she could take one of the dogs into the park, she took the leash, started running, tripped and fell hard on the concrete. She had BIG scrapes on her knees and elbow, and smaller ones on the palms of her hands. Of course she immediately started crying, and the cuts on her knee and elbow were bleeding. So (with the help of a bystander) I carried my daughter back to the car, and the bystander helped me put the dogs back into the car. I pulled out the first aid kit in the car and tried to clean the wounds (she's still crying) but the swabs for cleaning wounds contain alcohol and they stung badly. I knew i had non-stinging stuff back home. So, back to the house we go. My daugher couldn't walk well, so I carried her in, leaving the dogs in the car. I called to my wife asking her to get the dogs while I took my daughter into the bathroom to clean up and dress her wounds. My wife came in, somewhat annoyed, and asked first how my daughter was, and then said "you mean you didn't take the dogs to the dog park?" As if the fact that I didn't get them to run around was paramount. I immediately shot back that caring for my daughter when she's hurt is more important than exercising the dog.She immediately loaded up the dogs in the car and took them to the park. When she came back she insisted that she didn't have any broken bones and wasn't bleeding profusely and that I should have simply dressed the wounds at the park, and had her sit on the park bench (she was crying saying "I want to go home" BTW) while I exercised the dog. She said I was encouraging her to believe that every injury was a crisis and would result in her having anxiety.I simply cannot concieve that I did anything wrong in this situation. Since she doesn't have children of her own, I believe she can't understand that when you child is hurt, everything else comes second. Am I completely crazy?
Answer:
Anyone with a PhD in Pediatric anything and doesn't like or have kids of their own makes me a little worried! No, you aren't crazy. She is crazy and cares more about the dogs than the kid. There is no anxiety being created. Your wife is creating the anxiety by not attending to an upset child. Your child must first feel safe - that is 2nd from the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. A parent's duty is I feel at a very basic level are "physiological" needs. Which come into play here with needing bandaged. and "Safety".

I'll answer a long post with another long post.First of all, most of those vehicles seem like only fair deals. I'm currently looking for a car for a family member with a $5,000 budget, and many of these seem a little shaky. To break the list down a little bit, I'd say go for the Honda Civic (#7). It has the fewest miles and still doesn't cost too much. On the other hand, I haven't seen the car, so I don't know what kind of shape it's in.To make this a little easier, I would say set yourself some better standards. First off, I noticed all these cars are $4,000 or less, so I'm assuming your budget is $4,000. You can look for cars at this website:http://www.autotrader.comwhere you just have to limit your search to your price range and the distance you're willing to travel to look for a car. With a $4,000 budget, you should be able to find a vehicle with less than 100,000 miles on it. Your best bet would be a used compact or midsize, as they have a nice balance between gas mileage, power, and size. Look for one of these models from the late 1990s:- Compacts -Acura IntegraBMW 318Chevrolet CavalierDodge NeonFord EscortHonda CivicMazda ProtegeMercury TracerNissan SentraOldsmobile AchievaPontiac Grand AmPontiac SunfireSaturn SLSubaru ImprezaToyota CorollaVolkswagen GolfVolkswagen Jetta- Midsizes -Buick CenturyBuick RegalChevrolet LuminaChrysler CirrusDodge StratusFord ContourFord TaurusHonda AccordMazda 626Mazda MilleniaMercury MystiqueMercury SableMitsubishi GalantNissan AltimaNissan MaximaOldsmobile AleroOldsmobile IntrigueSubaru LegacyToyota CamryVolkswagen PassatI hope this has answered your question. Question : GSR or Typr R integ?
up guys, i need help choosing cars, i am currently 17 , working at a sushi bar for $16.50 pre hour (been putting in work over there for almost 2 years now) , and driving a F'D up 95 camery . I was wondering if i should buy a type R. But before you tell me that it isn't right for me to get a car that has so much potential in it at such a young age, let me tell u this. if i do get it im not changing a thing to it. Keeping it STOCK and the car's true beauty with it! I ain't goana put a tranformer body kit on it to make optimus prime or megatron jealous or some ish like that. I anit goana race that much either, i've seen too many people get kill over racing, and even if i was goana race, iama race in a legit and legal place. I want this car because its a eye catcher to any ricer on the road with a 93 civic and a F'D up muffler, and plus the ladies like guys with fast cars. The insurance is goana kill me but i dont care, im a good driver with a clean record and a GREAT JOB. If anything i would be fine with having a GSR, but leaning toward type R because of the LSD tranny. And i anit worried about thief cuz they goana taste my 9mm luger, plus iama have a kill switch with gps installed. So what you guys think i should do?
Answer:
go with either one, integras are grate
