Bon-Aire Hose Nozzle
Absolutely the finest hose nozzle ever offered. I saw a live demonstration of this product at a trade show. The cost was almost double of what Amazon has to offer on the exact same product.Bon-Aire Original Ultimate Hose Nozzle (Aluminum)

Durable, quality product
This is a very durably built nozzle, with great thick rubber group and a spin that feels really smooth & solid. I can imagine this thing lasting for years. The only drawback I find is that for those who turn it on and off frequently, there is a decent amount of friction involved in turning all the way off to all the way on, so it's not as quick to use as a trigger shot.
Rating :
Great Nozzle
I love keeping my car clean, so I'm always washing my car. I used to use a cheap metal one with a trigger for years, but it was getting a little beat up and I always had to watch that I don't scratch my car with it or drop it and spray myself. With this nozzle, I don't have to worry about either. I love that it turns off in both directions. It seems very solid and should last a very long time. It doesn't quite spray 40'. I guess it depends on the pressure from your hose bib. I do sometimes miss the trigger because you have to use two hands to turn on and off, but that is a minor inconvenience considering all its advantages.

Bon Aire Hose Nozzle
I heard great things about this nozzle so I am trying it out. Used it only once and it is great. Easy to use and the water doesn't drip around the connections. Bought some for others too.

FANTASTIC
I run a dog boarding business out of my home. I have been searching for a hose nozzle that is very powerful and the Bon-Aire Ultimate is the best I have ever used. The powerful spray gets my job done faster than ever. I bought 2 but realize I need another. My handy man used it to wash the car and he loved it as well. I can't wait to wash the dogs with it when the weather warms up. It took me three months to make a decision to buy these and I am not disappointed at all. I recommend this product, don't waste time thinking about it you won't be disappointed either! Thank you for the helpful reviews! Inlet Professional Pet Granna

Piece of junk
I read all the reviews and thought I would try it even though there were a lot of bad reviews.
Major complaints: It is just like a cheap scraper in that it only shaves a small strip of frost off the window and not a massive sweep like it advertises.
Very hard to use. I am 6' tall and tried to use this on a 2007 Camry. So I was plenty tall enough and a Camry is not a big car. I was having to lean up against the car just to get everything. Not user friendly at all.
Minor complaints: Not very sturdy. Mine didn't break on the first use like other reviewers but it did feel like it could snap at any time. There are a lot of pieces which means a lot of potential for breaking.
Overall: I am returning this product. It does not perform as advertised. It is almost completely useless.
Rating :
Not very durable...
I got one last year, and the blade had chips in it by the end of the year. It still works well but there are gaps that don't get scraped in one swipe. Also the handle isn't very long, so if you are shorter than me (6'2") you might not be able to scrape your whole windshield.
Rating :
Not for short people with tall trucks :)
I received this as a gift. It works really well on my car as I can reach the window with no problems. It is hard to use on my truck though because of the angle of the grip. I can't put enough pressure on it to make it remove ice from my truck. It is great for removing the ice off of the wiper blades. I would suggest this for car owners but not for anything taller than your average family car.
Rating :
Good, but not great
Purchased this scraper in December 09. Got to finally use here in Virginia during the blizzard we had in February. It's ok for pushing snow off your car; it pushes great, but it's not long enough to push snow all the way off your windshield or roof. The scraper works as expected, pretty good. The long handle lets you get more leverage for that thick ice. The brush attachment is kind of a pain. It constantly falls off of my scraper when I am using it or the scraper side. Overall, it's a decent scraper if you get it cheap enough, but you could probably do better with a normal hand scraper and a brush.
Rating :
Tricky
This item is difficult and tricky to use. Also heavy to handle. May be good if ice was thick but as a general snow removal/ice removal implement for the vehicle (every day use) not that good.

Editorial Review :
Mothers California Gold Clay Bar system is created to remove the particulate debris and contaminants that washing and polishing can't remove.
Customer Review :
Worked Great!
I purchased this item two months ago to use on my 2002 Tacoma double cab. The directions were straight forward and the process was very simple. It took me about 40 minutes to rub over the entire truck. The clay bar did a superb job removing the "grit" off the paint, leaving a silky smooth finish that was ready for wax.
Rating :
Mother's California Gold Clay
This is one product that in my opinion is well worth the money. I just finished the hood on my car and the result is great. You can feel the grit and grime on the surface and once you apply this product the surface is as smooth a it can be not to mention how shiney it was. I then applied Mother's wax and now have a surfce better looking that the day the vehicle left the dealership.
Rating :
This really works
I've been using this product for years and will state for the record that it really does work. It will not bring back a badly oxidized, neglected paint job. It doesn't work miracles like that, but it really does work if you use on a car that hasn't been allowed to rot or been forgotten. This product works best when used after a thorough wash. Some people use it while washing, but I feel this can have a negative effect as it may help to embed dirt and contaminants instead of allowing the suds to lift and carry them away. Plenty of the included spray detailer must be used or else the clay will stick to the car. I personally don't rub too aggressively, and I don't believe that is necessary. After the clay the residue is wiped away with a microfiber cloth. While you can leave the car as is, it is a really good idea to put on a coat of wax immediately after claying the car. You will be amazed at how smooth and slick the car's paint will be after just claying, and with the wax it'll feel like you greased the surface. The results can be incredible if you are patient and follow the directions. The only thing to remember is that if the clay bar ever falls on the ground it must be thrown away. Trying to use it after that would be akin to taking a sanding block to the car. You can't go wrong with Mother's products.

Our Jaguar had specs on the entire back end and these clay slabs got them cleaned off. PERFECT!!!!!

Gives my car a showrooms shine
Just used this product and I love what it did for the finish on my car. It removed the contaminants and brought a clean shine to my car like the day I brought it home. I've used waxes and polishes before but nothing performs as well as this particular clay bar system.

Editorial Review :
Mallory Cool Snow Tool Snow Brush combines a long, comfortable, molded handle and a durable brush to help remove the snow. This is constructed with high quality material for durability, measuring 26” in length.
Customer Review :
Excellent, durable, no scratches, great grip, great price.
Perfect length, excellent functionality, doesn't leave scratches, has a great rubber foam grip that isn't going to melt or get sticky, and was only $3.58.
Rating :
Proper length. Convenient design.
A well made piece. This brush is not too stiff and the ice scrapper part is located on the opposite side of the handle (convenient if you only need to brush off the show or leaves). Rubberized handle allows for a good, solid grip. Lightweight.

Awesome product at an awesome price...
Hi All,
Not much that can be said about a snow brush...but I will tell you that this is a great product. The northeast, while not being hammered with blizzards, has been getting hit with a lot of small nuisance type snow/ice storms. I got tired of our older brush...and one day while sitting in (snow day) I decided to hunt a new one down on Amazon. $3.58 with free shipping and not an ounce wasted in gasoline..... What more do I need to say?
I love the cushioned grip with cut outs to wrap your fingers around it perfectly. The ice scraper works great and so far had held up to 3 cars - for 3 scrapings.
Excellent product in my opinion and a great value to boot.
Rating :
Best snow brush/scraper I've found
Ergonomic handle design is very comfortable. I like the foam grip. Scraper seems indestructible and is very efficent and separating the ice from the glass. Bristles are thick, yet soft. Minimizing risk of scratching painted surfaces. I bought one of these for myself at a local store a couple of years ago. My wife broke her old cheapo brush and I looked all over to find another Mallory, which I could not. I ended up looking them up on line and found my best deal on Amazon. I'd like to see more local merchants stock these, as I paid more in shipping than I did for the brush.
Rating :
Get's the job done
I bought these before the worst snow storms in DCs history. I am glad I did. They seem rugged and got the job done. They have only survived one winter so far, but they don't seem to have taken a beating.

Editorial Review :
Meguiar's Even-Coat Applicator has specialized microfiber material that produces amazing results when applying wax or polish. It is ideally sized for long-term comfort and you can wash and dry as you would any towel.
Customer Review :
Nice addition to my cleaning kit
Works as advertised and feels very soft on the paint, used to rub in the scratch remover and was felt good using. Can't really do much describing this other than it does what it's supposed to, is solidly constructed and is large enough for an adult male to hold in one hand each and transfer the pressure towards the job.
That's it...

The best pads you can get
I have waxed a lot of cars in my day. I have been doing detail jobs on the side for years and I want to someday do it as a full-time job with my own business. I believe this makes me qualified to make an intelligent review. The thing about applicators is you don't want to use a towel or a foam pad. The towel isn't thick enough, and your hand will press funny in spots and not in others. Foam pads apply even pressure but the texture is weird and unsuitable for a truly good job. Now these pads are foam wrapped in microfiber cloth. They work great and you can wash them over and over again. I pretty much use only Meguiar's products and this is why. They make the best stuff out there.
Rating :
Another must-have product from Meguiar's
These pads are simply the best out there for applying wax. As another reviewer mentioned, they are basically a foam pad on the inside with a microfiber cloth wrapped around the exterior. This literally gives the best of both worlds! The foam interior gives the pad shape which allows for an even application of wax. The microfiber outside makes sure that you don't scratch your car as you apply it. Also, I've noticed that for liquid waxes in particular, a sponge applicator seems to absorb a lot of the wax into the sponge itself, which is sort of a waste. A rolled up microfiber towel avoids this absorption but it is very unwieldy and it's difficult to apply a smooth and even pressure on. Again, these applicators solves those issues by combining the two. Also, these pads are a nice size, probably about 5 inches in diameter, which allows you to cover a large area very quickly. I find the pads that come with many wax kits to be far too small, which just means more work for you to cover your car. Finally, washing these out is a snap and each applicator is durable enough for many waxes. Get these, you won't regret it!
Rating :
Great addition to my car detailing kit
These are the best applicator pads that I've used. The microfiber exterior really makes a complete distribution of wax. I used to apply polishing compound as well to remove some scratches and didn't have very good luck, but after reading the instructions on the bottle, I tried a terry cloth applicator and had much better results.

Questions & Answers
Question : Can the dealership take back my new car in this situation?
My wife and I were out for a drive today in her car and on a whim, we decided to pull into a dealership and look at cars. The salesman was a great talker and before I knew it, I was signing papers. He gave me a generous offer on my trade-in after he asked me two questions on the interior and exterior of the trade in. He didn't care that the vehicle was not with me, and got me approved, we signed all the papers, and they gave me the keys. They congratulated me and said the vehicle is yours. I then went home, got the trade-in and brought it back to them. It was pouring down rain so they only got the mileage of the vehicle, put its tag on my new car and sent me on my merry way. Now here is the biggie. They never drove it or checked it out. What happens if they find something wrong with it? Am I still ok? I'm probably just being paranoid, but I love my new car and don't wish to lose it. And yes, I answered all their questions honestly, but they never asked about the motor or tranny.
Answer:
I wouldn't worry about your trade-in. Depending on the year of the car, they will either put it on the lot or wholesale it. either way, whatever is wrong with the car they can fix dirt cheap. you're safe. sleep well.enjoy your new car!!

Question : How to take care of the exterior of a brand new car?
I just bought a brand new Honda Civic and I want to know what should I do to protect the original paint of my new Honda.Do they come with some wax or something else from the manufacturer?Should I start applying some products right away of just wait few month?Any other recommendations?Thank you.
Answer:
great Q! even though i make my living fixing and painting cars, it makes me happy when people take care of their paint. all you need to do is keep it clean and waxed. give it a thorough cleaning (in the shade) and then dry it with a chamois. a real one cost's a little more, but works much better and with care can last a long time. i can't stress enough the importance of not letting a car dry in the sun. it can cause some serious damage. after drying, give it a good coat of wax, also to be done in the shade. use a good quality non abrasive "clearcoat" wax. Meguiars is a really good one. keep it clean and wax it every 4 to 6 months. a good coat of wax will protect it from the elements and in times when you can't dry it every time it gets wet. if you do these things you will have a good looking car for as long as you own it.

Question : Help! Spiders of varying sizes are all over my car (exterior and interior)?
Hey everyone, I have been a long time reader and a first time contributor. Anyway, recently I have noticed that my car has begun to increase in the number of spider in/on it. The spiders are white, and clear-ish, the term albino spider has come up, but I am not entirely sure. I live in Toronto. At first they were two, one big one small, outside and inside my car. Now they are increasing in number, running up to 5 at a time. They have been usually only coming out at night. I have been constantly killing them.On the 3rd day of the spider appearances, I have done an interior cleaning of the car (vacuum, taking everything out, running the HVAC system at full, and opening the hood and checking the engine for egg sacs with a flash light). I found nothing and right when it became dark outside, 5 of them came out from cracks I have already cleaned. I always park in a condominium garage but there has been spider activity around a light near my parking spot. I have called management and they told me they took care of it. One guess is that they have come into my car from the parking spot area, but the superintendent dismissed the idea. I have not used the car in 4 days, but I came down to check my spot today (7 days total since this all began). Yes, the spider webbing and etc around my parking spot has been cleaned. BUT, when I came to the car itself, it has only become worse. With one quick glance I counted 4 spiders and one egg sac in my side mirror. Note that I came down at 6pm this time, and not at night! What I'm trying to ask is if anyone knows of what is happening to my car (could it be a possible nesting of spiders) and if there are any solutions that you can suggest? The term fogger has come up, but I am not sure where to buy it. I have been to a local Wal-Mart, but they didn't have it. If you have any information on foggers and its effectiveness in the car, please let me know! I don't want to call an exterminator just yet because they are expensive and I want to try and fix this problem with as little money as possible.Thank you very much for your time! I'm looking forward to your answers!hey! thanks for all the help, I'm going to give them both a try and I'll report back.
Answer:
Foggers should definitely kill them. You can get them at Home Depot, but read the label before buying to see if it sounds right for your situation. I've never used one in my car, but I've used one in the garage, and a few under the house, and one in my old house. If you used it IN your car, I'm not sure that it would kill the ones that are on the outside of your car, unless you parked the car in a garage or something and set it off in the garage with the car windows open. Also, your situation is kind of disturbing! I'm sorry. I was thoroughly creeped out while I read your post. Good luck! I hope you get those bastards!

Question : How do I take good care of my 2008 Nissan Maxima?
My car is almost new and I would like to keep the interior and exterior looking that way but its hard to find good products the dealership only has stuff for the leather, so how do i choose the right product to clean the leather, the motor (which i havent cleaned since i bought the car) the body of the car, do i do all this myself or should i take somewhere and if so where, what should i do to keep the carpets looking clean (new matts are expensive) what about keeping it smelling nice.....this is my first new car and I dont know much about cars but I want to take good care of it so appreciate any good advice especially from nissan owners
Answer:
For exterior...drive it for its purpose man. Dont go racing with it or go 120 to impress your friends. Just the car simply. Go to car washes..usually for like 12 dollars you can get a full cleaning outside, cleaning your rims and they take care of the interior with vacuum and everything. Buy one of those things from the gas station that are freshners to keep your car smelling good. Also make sure people dont eat in it and stuff.Dont try to do oil changes and stuff yourself, since you are probably covered under warranty and stuff go to the dealer maintanence if you have trouble.

Question : Is it worthed hooking up da exterior of a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 4dr?
Good condition car, high mileage but well taken care of.Hooking up meaning: rims, hood, tail lights, chrome grill.
Answer:
nope. high mileage on a 2000 Grand Prix (or anything in this case) isnt worth it...... unless you drop in a new engine and transmission, its not worth it. but the money you will spend on that you can have a nice down payment on the Grand Prix GXP with the V8. then you wont really need many performance parts on it. the wheels and tires on the new GXP are nice. if you change the tires on it, make them the Eagle F1 Supercar tires. like the Corvette Z06 has. but good luck bro.

Question : What are good tips to restore the exterior classic car while on a budget?
I recently purchased a 1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane 500. It runs pretty well for its age because it has been tuned up and taken care on regular basis by its previous owners. I am not too worried about the internal portion of the car because nothing needs to be repaired/replaced instantaneously.I do have a question, though, on how to fix the body of my vehicle. Like any old car that hasn't been watched ever step of the way, it has gained cancer spots on the bottom half of the vehicle. With my friends, we were going to clean the exterior, sand the rust to the bare minimum and weld on new shaped sheet metal. I've never done this before, but my friends have. What would be the best method or if there were any suggestions that could be shared from those who have restored a classic car or have turned one into a hot rod/ rat rod? I'm looking for the budget route. It doesn't have to be restored to a shiny new "thousands-of-dollars" toy, I'm more looking into the girly rat rod perspective.Thank you for your help and suggestions!
Answer:
If you can simply sand it down to bare metal and then paint, that would be your best option and it sounds like you and your friends already know how to do this? If not, here are the specific steps:http://car.tips.net/Pages/T004816_Fixing_Rust_Spots.html If the cancer you are referring to is rusted through spots, here is a detailed description with photos that will give you an idea of the amount of work required:http://wwwx.cs.unc.edu/~hays/crx/dx/rust_repair/Here's a great video primer that you will also find very helpful:http://www.expertvillage.com/video-series/2556_car-restoration.htmBest of luck to you - enjoy your classic ride!

Question : Exterior car care?
I have a classic car that was painted two years ago. The car has been hand waxed two or three times since and is garage kept. It has only been out of the garage maybe a dozen times since it was painted.I want to detail it up real good for a show this weekend. Should I pick up a clay bar and go over it or would it not make much of a difference since the paint is so new?
Answer:
a clay bar is not going to do very much for you unless there is some tiny defects of the paint. I personally would get some good liquid compound wax and go over it one panel at a time with a buffer at about 2700 rpm putting the wax on by hand so you hit all parts, when done wash the car all over again to get the dust and access wax spray off, make sure to dry real good this will also help with the buffing swirls, then i would go over it again with a liquid high gloss wax by hand and take it off with a microfiber towel which you can pick up at any auto place. even wall-mart. this will give it a great lasting shine while the compound wax gives it a better base coat for longer lasting protection from dirt, dust and water. you also may want to look for what is called a California duster so when you get to the show you can re-clean off any dust from sitting there i always bring a bottle of liquid anti-static spray-wax with me to wipe it down and only use micro fiber towels so it does not scratch the paint from any road grime.
