Black Mustang

I use this product with a Porter Cable dual action polisher to polish a 9 year old black Mustang. This polish is easy to work with. It removes swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation. I finish off polishing with Meguier's M21 sealant for a nice shine. I get a lot of compliments on how new my car looks.

Meguiar's Speed Glaze

I have used the separate retail cleaner and polisher with with incredible results and Mike from Meguiar's told me about using this one step dual action professional product. It worked great on a maroon panel van that had never been wax in it's 11 years of existance. The ower was amazed when we finished. It looked alsmost as good as it did the day it was purchased without wax.

Questions & Answers
Question : What would you do in this lack of car situation?
For years I've been catchin bus and bumming rides, but it seems like no one cares. I think my mum is just trying her hardest not to see me drive for whatever reason. First it started when my only ride broke down... NO one was trying to help me fix the car, and I had no job, and all my opportunities with girls was flying pass me, because i was seeing nobody at all, and I didn't have many connections with cars. My mum doesn't want me to drive her jeep at all. My brother is in his car 75% of the time, between work, and going out places. I'm now working, making my OWN money, saving up to buy my OWN car, with the help of no one! Daddy has no problem with it, and even took me to car lots, but mum is around the house making noise at everyone, blasting daddy out just because he took me to the car lot. She's talking about she doesn't want me driving, i gatta finish school first, and doesn't care how much i need a car etc... I mean... I'm a 22 year old man! Would you get your car anyway?

Answer:
Oh my goodness! Just go and get your car! Just make sure you finish school so you can earn enough to keep it!

Question : what is that movie when the girl in college's parents die in a car accident and then she has to take care of
her younger half sister, but her boyfriend wants her to move o Italy instead?i watched it one time, and i didn't get to finish it. What movie was that called again?i think her dad was a lawyer in the movie.sorry my mommy just told me what movie it was and none of you are right.it was hello sister goodbye life i think. now i forgot again!

Answer:
It's not the glass house. In the glass house the girl is still in high school and has a younger brother.

Question : Can I afford to buy a car from Carmax after finishing Army Basic/AIT?
I'm 18 and I have absolutely no credit. I'm leaving for Basic/AIT/Airborne School June 2nd and I'll be back sometime in November. I got a $10,000 bonus(My recruiter said to expect $7,000 after taxes) and plus I get paid while in Basic/AIT. I want to buy a car from Carmax for around $14,000 or less. I don't want to take any loans or anything. Is there away that I can pay like half the car's price in cash and then pay off the rest in monthly installments? I also have to buy my own insurance policy(I know for a fact that you can do that at Carmax the same day that you decide to buy a car from them). My sister is really sick and I need to be able to go see her and take care of her on weekends, so I really need a car. Is there any way I can get a car in this situation? Thanks!

Answer:
You will have another resourse available called MILES. It is especially for E-2's and above with no credit history. The interest rate is at 18.45%, but they will take you without a co-buyer. I use to hate the MILES Program but now after working in finance and have seen how some of these finance companies treat young soldiers, I feel pretty good about it. They also put stipulations on the Dealer about the vehicle they sell you, which is for your protection. So when you get to your permanent party duty station, find a dealer that has the MILES Program. Or go to usmiles.com and check them out.

Question : Why do Smokers think it is OK just to throw butts out of their car window?
This really gets on my nerves. I can't tell you how many times I have been behind or beside a smoker that takes their final drag and then just flicks the used but on the street. What is the deal? Isn't this littering? Today a lady pulled up next to me finished a couple of drags...through the butt out her window and just looked at me withoiut a care in the world. Just wanted to see if this bothers anyone else.

Answer:
Ok, I am a smoker, BUT I get so irritated at people who toss cigs out the window. It makes the side of roads look trashy, it has been known to cause fires, and it is really illegal being that it is littering. I use the ashtray always! If there isn't an ashtray or another place to put my cig out, then I will knock the "cherry" off and stomp it out and put the butt in my pocket until I find a trash can. Just had to speak up for the smokers who actually care a little more about the environment than their health.

Question : How do you fix car's leather seats that are showing wear?
I have beige leather seats in my car and the driver's side seat has little white cracks in the finish. Does that mean the seat is about to give out---or that it's just the finish that is wearing out. Is there some kind of creme I can use to make it look good again? Also, any tips on leather car seat care would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! The seat is not ripped. Please, serious answers only. Honestly, seat covers? Isn't there some kind of cream?

Answer:
Thesecan be fixed. If you are ion the UK call LTT on 01423 881027 who supply products for this to consumers and detailers/valeters. It is just the finsih that is wearing and this needs replacing, thhis is usually caused by the wrong or no leather care being done on the seat.

Question : do you need a college degree to be a car salesman?
i am finishing high school at age 17 1/2, and i couldnt care less about my grades. i might take 2 years of community college just for the hell of it. will i need a full university degree, or a general ed certificate.. or what..?

Answer:
You don't need a degree to sell cars and you don't get paid a whole lot either. Set your sights a bit higher if you want to get some where in life.

Question : What are some car care tips for keeping a car looking like new besides the usually washing and waxing?
I own two cars a 1996 Mustang I recently bought and a 2004 Suzuki Forenza I bought new. The Mustang was kept in excellent condition very clean inside and out with the original paint and finish in great condition. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on car care besides the usually washing, waxing, and vacuuming the interior for keeping a car looking new inside and out. Tips especially for cars kept outside. The Forenza is outside and the Mustang is now garaged, not sure if it was before. I would like to be able to have any car I would own for 13 years end up staying as nice as the previous owners kept the mustang.

Answer:
1. wash car2. clay car-This removes contaminants stuck to your paint that normal washing wont get off. I recommend Meguiar's Smooth surface clay kit. You can also use the clay bar on your windows/wheels too, but of course, do the paint first. Can also wash your car after claying, but isnt necessary3.paint cleaners-These remove swirl marks/scratches/oxidation/etc. Different strenghts, depending on the severity of the paint. I suggest Meguiars Swirlx. Swirlx may not be aggressive enough, so you may need to step it up to Meguiar's ultimate compound, then follow it with Swirlx. How to use Paint cleaners: after washing and claying your car. Apply the product to a microfiber applicator. Work the product in a 16x16 in section for about a minute, then remove with microfiber towel, dont let dry. Inspect results, repeat process if needed, see if its up to your par, if not, step up to ultimate compound. Otherwise, if youre done with the section, move on and repeat. You apply ultimate compound in the same way.4.Pure Polish. This step is optional, as if you were to use a paint cleaner, such as the ones mentioned above, since they already have polishing oils in them. You'll notice more of a difference in using a pure polish on darker colors, but wont hurt to do it on lighter colors. Meguirs deep crystal polish is their most user friendly polish. Their #7 polish is the best polish, but side-by-side, it will be hard to tell a difference. To apply polish, apply to microfiber applicator. Work in about the same size section, kinda message it into the paint (much like applying lotion to your skin) for about 40 seconds, then wipe off with microfiber towel, dont let dry.Wax:. Protects paint, gives shine, locks in polish. This is the only product you let dry. Apply to microfiber applicator, apply to paint evenly in circle motions. Let dry to haze. Wipe off with microfiber towel. Two applications is best. Nxt 2.0 tech wax is Meguiars most popular wax. Then, tire shine, cant have shiny paint with horrible dull looking tires. Any will do.All these products can be found at wal-mart.Then for the plastic trim/bumpersMeguiars Natural shine protectant, or supreme shine protectantIt'll make it look like new.Apply to microfiber towel, wipe onlet dry for 10 min, wipe off

Question : Is there a relatively easy/inexpensive way to repair a car's finish that's been scratched by a cat?
Or is having it professionally buffed the only way to take care of the damage? The cats aren't part of the question so please, no mean remarks.

Answer:
Go to an autozone or pepboys and buy a cheap rubbing compound and try that. If the scratch is to deep then it won't work, but rubbing compound is around $3-$5 so its worth a try, the only other thing would be to get your car detailed. But that's not cheap.

Question : I'm 7 months pregnant, my car is a hazard to my health and my BF hasn't done anything to help. Does he care?
He's got a car for me and works have finished on it. However, he hasn't got the money to pay off the repair man and to MOT etc. I see no effort on his part to get this car on the road for me.

Answer:
I am sorry about your situation. Perhaps he is working all he can and is gonna be in more soup financially when the baby comes along. However I am sure he cares for you ... if not he is a real idiot.Once again ... I am sorry about your situation ... and I hope everything goes okay with the baby.

Question : What are the best ways to care for the finish on a black car?
What are the best ways to care for the finish on a black car?

Answer:
Same as any other finish, have it washed & waxed regularly.. scratches show up on black more than other paint colors. Small scratches can be buffed out but be careful where you go to have that done, a bad buffing job can easily ruin the clearcoat.
