I drew a smiley on his truck in glass chalk weeks ago and he won't wash it off.lolMy lil sister got mad last week @ church and yelled, "YOU LIKE HIM!" IN FRONT OF HIM.I saw him today and he wasn’t ignoring me.But he wasn’t friendly than usual.He was fixing his ex-gf’s (they went out at least once) car (she’s had lot of bfs.She’s w/ another guy now).They split on friendly terms,and she’s 3 years older than him.He was teasing her and she kicked him,he slapped her and then she kicked him in the butt. It kinda just surprised me cuz usually he’s pretty quiet/reserved.Later he asked me to play ping-pong, and we played for 10 minutes, and talked a little.He asked me if I was going to the lake this summer and I said, “Yeah. I’m driving my Bronco and towing a jetski trailer.” His eyes got big, “What?Your dad gonna let you do that? Have you ever towed a trailer b4?It’s totally different. On a two lane road--it’s dangerous..You swerve you’ll die!” I was like, “Umm.Okay.Thanks for the vote of confidence.” IDK. I’ve known him a year, and he’s quiet. I just don’t understand WTF he’d care? We’re 17.Oh, and according to him, the :) is on the window still cuz "the truck is filthy".Funny thing...the truck sparkles in the sun. Question : What would you do if you left your child in Day Care, and they lied about why your child was crying?
My son is 20 months and we've been taking him to the Day Care at our gym.He LOVES the Day Care!He's never even whined when I dropped him off (not even the first time).Well, after going there for a month and never having a problem (because I can peek in at him through the glass and see that he's happy and content and I can see him on the gym monitors at any given time and he's never even made a whimper) ..Well the other day I peeked in at him and he was hysterical. The lady was holding him and he was screaming, crying, and just so hysterical that he was practically gasping for air at every other breath.I walked in and said, 'is he ok? was there a problem?'She said, 'No, he just started missing you guys about 10 minutes ago; he ran in SCREAMING 'dada-dada-dada'.I thought, well, hmm, that's odd, his DAD isn't even here and he's NEVER cried because he 'missed us', but I didn't say anything ..THEN when she handed him to me, HIS FACE WAS SCRATCHED AND BLEEDING. It was a fingernail mark that was NOT HIS! I had clipped all his fingernails that morning!!I said, 'WHY is his face bleeding???'She said, 'oh, the lady outside said he fell over while pushing a push-car'.I was SO pissed. THAT is why he was crying!! BECAUSE HE GOT PUSHED OVER! Not because 'he missed us'.Anyway, my son ended up having a black eye, bruised nose, and that scratch on his face. I'm so pissed. IF I hadn't brought up the fact that my son was BLEEDING, she would never have told me he fell!WHY did she hide the fact that he fell?By her not telling me the truth and completely lying about why my son was crying, only makes me think the worst. Like some other kid beat him up and she's hiding it.There is one kid that is ALWAYS at the Daycare, he's between 8-10 years old, and his Mom is the one who was in charge of the kids when it happened. She was the one who witnessed him 'falling over'. Well, now, EVERYTIME I take my son back to the Day Care, he's totally fine and happy until he sees THAT kid!I think her son pushed my kid over and she hid it so that her kid doesn't get kicked out.I'm so pissed even THINKING that this happened. Whatever did happen, definitely has something to do with her kid, and the fact that they completely covered up the fact that my kid 'fell', makes me really think the worst. Otherwise, WHY would they hid the fact that my kid fell? If he fell over on his own, WHY wouldn't they tell me? and WHY is he so scared of that other kid? There must be a connection, right?[we wanted to request to see a tape of the time he was there and see what happened, but unfortunately (yet so convienant for them) there are no cameras in the back area where he fell)Do you think I'm over-reacting and assuming the worst? Or do you think I have valid concerns?The whole reason I signed up for the gym in the first place was mostly for my son to use the Day Care and have interaction with other kids, and to learn to interact without Mommy always having to be there. We pay for him to have his own membership to use that Day Care. We decided we will never put him in an actual Day Care while we work, so we figured if he went to that one here and there for an hour at a time, it would be worth the money. Now that this has happened, I don't know if we should continue taking him there or not ..Also, when you check your child in, you leave your cell phone number so they can call you if your child cries. I left my cell phone number and told them exactly what part of the gym I would be in.My son was hysterical for 10 minutes, and nobody bothered calling me .. I just happened to look in and find him hysterical.I was originally told that if the child cries, they immediately call you. So again, WHY didn't they call me? I'm sure it wasn't that fun for her to hold a 30 lb. child for 10 minutes while he screams for his mother ..

I think you have valid concerns. I would be livid too! I think the thing that would get me going is that she bald face lied to protect her own. As a caregiver, she needs to acknowledge and remember that all children are important, not just her own.Honestly, if that had happened to us, and the woman would have said "I'm so sorry, I turned my back for a moment, and I think my guy pushed your little guy. I'll talk to my son about it so that it won't happen again." I would have thought - okay, no problem. Things happen. And, they do happen - when our children are around other children, there are bumps and bruises and sometimes tears. It's frustrating, but we expect it and deal with it.But, the way she handled it was not okay. I honestly think that the gym manager needs to be made aware of her dishonesty and should handle it from there. What would she do if there were a real injury or incident? That is why we need honest and reliable people around our children. From what you describe, I really don't think she's mature or compassionate enough to be caring properly for others' children. Question : Auto care with microfiber towels/cloths?
Can anyone offer advice on the use of microfiber towels in car cleanup/detailing? Will these products scratch paint and glass? How would their use differ from regular cotton towels?

Answer:
Microfiber cloths are OK on glass ,but when it comes to paint, I am a traditionalist...only clean terry cloth towels for me. I really don't think the microfiber ones would hurt, but to be safe I'd just try one small inconspicuous spot to be sure you won't be making swirl marks. You don't want to grind little specks of dirt into your paint.Hope this helped.

I think to it would be better if La Raza wants to come across as fair and balanced they should not be saying affordable health care is a priority for Latino families and what about the rest of Americans in the same position ? Last night i was walking to the phone box to call the plumper to come and fix the flooding my bathroom was leaking , and on the way home from the phone box a gang of chavs in a white car , chucked bottles at me.But! I was stoned out of my head , i had a spliff before i went out , and basically i just didn't care , when they did it i got like a little jumpy because i didn't expect it.But i just carried on walking home as if nothing had happened , and now! I dont even care!But what im trying to get at is , i have depression and a personailty disorder and ive only recently started smoking weed , and if something like happens to me , i get scared and paranoid and would if run home , and! I would still be scared even now! But im not.Is it the weed thats made me not care?

Question : Should you tip mobile automotive glass repair service?
While I'm sure travel expenses are factored into labor / other costs in the final bill, would it be necessary to tip an automotive glass repair service that comes to the house?Places I tip for sure include haircut, restaurant/bar service, valet service and I've even tipped a tow truck driver $5 for that extra insurance that my car is taken care of behind the scenes. This is a serivce I'm not entirely sure of how appropriate a tip, (if any) might be.

No. He absolutely can charge for his travel time, and most of them travel to you nowadays. Some of even own their own businesses or are contractors, so a tip would be unnecessary.

Question : I have a car at 20,000 miles. It makes noise when just started and goes away when the care warms up. Why?
It gets louder when I just start driving and stepping on gas. The noise goes away after a few minutes drive. It is located in the hood, and doesn't have anything to do with the glass or wheel. Not the kind of sqeezing or high pitch sound.By the way, this car has been maintained at the dealship for every 3,500 miles. Could they have used the wrong oil?

I agree with am1benz, but it could also just be an old accessory belt/serpentine that has stretched over time and all you need is to replace the belt itself instead of the tensioner.

I have a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis. I have heard that auto parts are difficult to find for cars that are more than 10 years old. I had Glass Doctor do the work today and felt the windshield looked kinda cheap. Of course I could've asked beforehand about original/genuine parts. But I didn't really care because I'm selling the car. Would a dealership have been able to get a higher quality windshield? (even though the car is 13 years old)?The windshield seemed cheap because it was flatter (less bowed) than the original glass. It also had a dotted black pattern along the top of the glass, while the original was a tinted blue color on top. It just looked different. Plus the words printed on the corner didn't appear like an official brand or something. Though I can't remember the brand.
