PIECE OF CRAP

This glass cleaner is the worst product ever created. It leaves streaks the size of Dallas all over the windows, and when you try to wipe them away, it just creates more. I had to re-wash my car just to get them to go away. I could get better results with a homeless dude, his spit, and a newspaper. Don't ever buy this because you will have a stroke from rage. I hate this product.

not much rain repellence. Seemed to clean the glass pretty well. But I saw on the non-aerosol review that it messed up one guy's tinted windows. Not cool. Going to return this when I get the chance.

Question : Do auto glass shops let you choose betwwen cheap or quality replacement car windows/windshields?
I have a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis. I have heard that auto parts are difficult to find for cars that are more than 10 years old. I had Glass Doctor do the work today and felt the windshield looked kinda cheap. Of course I could've asked beforehand about original/genuine parts. But I didn't really care because I'm selling the car. Would a dealership have been able to get a higher quality windshield? (even though the car is 13 years old)?The windshield seemed cheap because it was flatter (less bowed) than the original glass. It also had a dotted black pattern along the top of the glass, while the original was a tinted blue color on top. It just looked different. Plus the words printed on the corner didn't appear like an official brand or something. Though I can't remember the brand.

Question : What would you do if you left your child in Day Care, and they lied about why your child was crying?
My son is 20 months and we've been taking him to the Day Care at our gym.He LOVES the Day Care!He's never even whined when I dropped him off (not even the first time).Well, after going there for a month and never having a problem (because I can peek in at him through the glass and see that he's happy and content and I can see him on the gym monitors at any given time and he's never even made a whimper) ..Well the other day I peeked in at him and he was hysterical. The lady was holding him and he was screaming, crying, and just so hysterical that he was practically gasping for air at every other breath.I walked in and said, 'is he ok? was there a problem?'She said, 'No, he just started missing you guys about 10 minutes ago; he ran in SCREAMING 'dada-dada-dada'.I thought, well, hmm, that's odd, his DAD isn't even here and he's NEVER cried because he 'missed us', but I didn't say anything ..THEN when she handed him to me, HIS FACE WAS SCRATCHED AND BLEEDING. It was a fingernail mark that was NOT HIS! I had clipped all his fingernails that morning!!I said, 'WHY is his face bleeding???'She said, 'oh, the lady outside said he fell over while pushing a push-car'.I was SO pissed. THAT is why he was crying!! BECAUSE HE GOT PUSHED OVER! Not because 'he missed us'.Anyway, my son ended up having a black eye, bruised nose, and that scratch on his face. I'm so pissed. IF I hadn't brought up the fact that my son was BLEEDING, she would never have told me he fell!WHY did she hide the fact that he fell?By her not telling me the truth and completely lying about why my son was crying, only makes me think the worst. Like some other kid beat him up and she's hiding it.There is one kid that is ALWAYS at the Daycare, he's between 8-10 years old, and his Mom is the one who was in charge of the kids when it happened. She was the one who witnessed him 'falling over'. Well, now, EVERYTIME I take my son back to the Day Care, he's totally fine and happy until he sees THAT kid!I think her son pushed my kid over and she hid it so that her kid doesn't get kicked out.I'm so pissed even THINKING that this happened. Whatever did happen, definitely has something to do with her kid, and the fact that they completely covered up the fact that my kid 'fell', makes me really think the worst. Otherwise, WHY would they hid the fact that my kid fell? If he fell over on his own, WHY wouldn't they tell me? and WHY is he so scared of that other kid? There must be a connection, right?[we wanted to request to see a tape of the time he was there and see what happened, but unfortunately (yet so convienant for them) there are no cameras in the back area where he fell)Do you think I'm over-reacting and assuming the worst? Or do you think I have valid concerns?The whole reason I signed up for the gym in the first place was mostly for my son to use the Day Care and have interaction with other kids, and to learn to interact without Mommy always having to be there. We pay for him to have his own membership to use that Day Care. We decided we will never put him in an actual Day Care while we work, so we figured if he went to that one here and there for an hour at a time, it would be worth the money. Now that this has happened, I don't know if we should continue taking him there or not ..Also, when you check your child in, you leave your cell phone number so they can call you if your child cries. I left my cell phone number and told them exactly what part of the gym I would be in.My son was hysterical for 10 minutes, and nobody bothered calling me .. I just happened to look in and find him hysterical.I was originally told that if the child cries, they immediately call you. So again, WHY didn't they call me? I'm sure it wasn't that fun for her to hold a 30 lb. child for 10 minutes while he screams for his mother ..

I think you have valid concerns. I would be livid too! I think the thing that would get me going is that she bald face lied to protect her own. As a caregiver, she needs to acknowledge and remember that all children are important, not just her own.Honestly, if that had happened to us, and the woman would have said "I'm so sorry, I turned my back for a moment, and I think my guy pushed your little guy. I'll talk to my son about it so that it won't happen again." I would have thought - okay, no problem. Things happen. And, they do happen - when our children are around other children, there are bumps and bruises and sometimes tears. It's frustrating, but we expect it and deal with it.But, the way she handled it was not okay. I honestly think that the gym manager needs to be made aware of her dishonesty and should handle it from there. What would she do if there were a real injury or incident? That is why we need honest and reliable people around our children. From what you describe, I really don't think she's mature or compassionate enough to be caring properly for others' children. If the manager doesn't handle it, then I'd bring my business elsewhere.I hope this helps hon!*EditI understand the reason why you bring your son there. What a terrific idea! Question : I have a car at 20,000 miles. It makes noise when just started and goes away when the care warms up. Why?
It gets louder when I just start driving and stepping on gas. The noise goes away after a few minutes drive. It is located in the hood, and doesn't have anything to do with the glass or wheel. Not the kind of sqeezing or high pitch sound.By the way, this car has been maintained at the dealship for every 3,500 miles. Could they have used the wrong oil?

I agree with am1benz, but it could also just be an old accessory belt/serpentine that has stretched over time and all you need is to replace the belt itself instead of the tensioner.

I would suggest calling a local auto glass company or salvage yard...they have interchange charts or books that tell if one will fit another.

Question : Why do Americans not want universal health-care reform?
I am an American now living in Taiwan, where we have universal health-care, you can visit the doctor for like $6-10, get your medicine for another $20-50, spend the night in the hospital for about 30-40 dollars a night, have major surgeries for a fraction the cost of the US. When I heard that President Obama was trying to get universal health-care in the US, I thought that things were going to change for the better, and when I return home I will find a better place. However, now I see that so many people are against it and are trying to fight to prevent it from happening.Why? Don't they realize that by having someone who is not out to try and make money controlling how much health care you can receive and what services you can and can't have access to and what medicines you will be allowed to get a cheaper price, how much it will cost you to visit the ER or stay in a hospital bed because it will already be covered. From what I have heard it is going to be something in combination with the already existing health-care companies so that means that if you get sick you will be able to use both the government health care and your normal HMO and be able to have a much more reasonable medical bill. Or if you don't have a job, or if you don't have a company that gives you heal-care options then you can pick up this the government health-care and be able to visit the doctor when you are sick, the dentist when your teeth hurt, the optometrist when you need new glasses, an OB/GYN when you are pregnant or need to get your regular check ups, or just to have a physical exam once a year and instead of paying 20,000 for a CAT Scan, PET Scan, and MRI you will only need to pay like 5000 or get it for free (not really sure how it will work for things like that).I have recently had to have a PET/CAT/MRI scan recently because I was hit by car and had a concussion and was beat up pretty bad. After spending a couple weeks in the hospital, I received my medical bill even though it was a surprising shock because the size of the number it was still comparatively massively cheaper than what it would have cost me in the US. Here I only paid 100,000NT (approx. $3,000US), it took me 2 months to pay off my medical bills. If I was in the US and had this type of accident I would have had maybe a $50~100,000 medical bill for the same care level. Some people do. I am all for Universal health care. In fact after watching Michael Moore's "Sicko" I'm seriously considering moving to France. I just can't believe that in a nation so advanced as this, we can't provide health care to everyone that is sick.
