Editorial Review :
Lexol Leather Conditoner Spray 16.9 oz. (500mL) A unique emulsion that feeds leather to keep it soft and supple while maintaining strength and durability. Regular use will maintain leather in top condition and not leave the surface slick or greasy, unlike other all purpose products. Work into the leather with a clean, soft, 100% cotton cloth or Lexol Applicator Sponge; allow the conditioner to be fully absorbed (15-20 minutes) and then buff off the excess with another soft, clean, 100% cotton cloth. Use 4-5 times a year to keep your leather in top condition. You do not have to clean the leather every time you condition, but you must condition every time you clean it. Do not use on suede.

make my steering wheel slip, loose grip
I applied it few days ago, i don't feel too many differences, may be my leather is still new and this product will offer the protection.
I bought the cleaner and conditioner together, I don't know which one, but it makes my leather wheel slip, really uncomfortable, I don't know whether it will become better in the future, the slip wheel make me feel unsafe now.

Not what I hoped it was
I bought this product to spray on a jacket and hat, hoping that it would be easier to spray on/wipe off excess than it is to apply a paste or (thick) liquid leather conditioner. It isn't.
After thoroughly shaking the bottle, I applied it to a hat. The conditioner squirted out of the nozzle; no spray here. It was much thicker than I had hoped, and while that isn't necessarily a bad thing, the end result was that I spent as much time rubbing it in as I would have a paste. Being liquid, my applicator cloth absorbed more than it does when applying a paste, too. In other words, more waste.
The other annoyance surfaced after it dried. A lot of white residue shows in the surface texture ("cracks") of the leather. Not the look I usually like on something I'm wearing.
In summary, the cons are: * Not a true "spray-on" conditioner, but rather thick-liquid-in-a-spray-bottle * Excessive waste (vs. paste conditioners) * No time savings (vs. paste conditioners) * Very visible residue after drying
Still looking for the pros.

bottle and packaging poor
Product seems to work fine but the bottle top was damaged in shipping because the bottles were not protected properly... Shipper did not put any packing material in the box so the bottle slid around inside the box.. One bottle top was broken right off.... Therefore I will not buy anything from Amazon again... I tried to contact someone there but they keep themselves hidden from anything negative

works great, no complaints
I've never used a leather conditioner before and bought this to use on the leather interior of my "new" 2005 jaguar s-type. The leather is still in good shape, so I didn't see a big change, though it looks a little more glossy, but not oily or anything. I hope regular application will keep the seats looking nice. I tried it on some beat up leather shoes and they look much better now!

Excellent product.
See my review of the cleaner to read my "smoky couch" story. This stuff helped some with the smell, and made the leather much softer and more pliable. Excellent product.

Made Leather Couch Look New
I used this product on my Flexsteel leather couch, a very high-quality couch. It's a super long couch because it is actually two loveseats assembled together. Each loveseat has an arm, one left and the other right. Putting them together makes it one giant piece. It's a lot of leather and that's why I bought this large container.
I found that I had to buff a LOT more than I expected. It took days for the conditioner to completely sink in after application, but I applied a heck of a lot thinking I was saving time. You should be aware that buffing will probably be required and it will take some time for the leather to absorb the conditioner.
The result is remarkable. The color of the leather seems more vibrant and it has a shine. Ultimately, this is protective of the leather and will make it last a lot longer. In the meantime, it makes the leather look richer.
One thing you will have a lot of trouble figuring out based on looking at product information for a large piece of leather furniture is what type of product should be used on it. If you have an expensive piece, most likely there won't be instructions for this. That's because the manufacturer doesn't want to take chances by informing you which conditioner you may use. The retail representatives that I questioned didn't know anything about treating leather.
Lexol works just fine on an expensive leather couch as my experience showed.

Works perfectly!
We have 16 year old, distressed leather couch and chair. It was a rich brown, "unfinished", cowboy style leather. Over the years it had faded to uneven gray and was very dry. Lexol conditioner was an absolute miracle! They are restored to brand new with no oily residue at all. We were ready to give them away and buy new! Highly recommended!!

Editorial Review :
Lexol Leather pH Cleaner Spray, 16.9 oz. Deep-cleans dirt, oil and leftover perspiration salts that build up and destroy leather interiors. Lexol Cleaner is adjusted to the pH of leather, so it will not harm the finish or fibers of the leather. Rinses easily and quickly with water, leaving no residue or dulling film. Apply with either a damp Lexol Applicator Sponge or a damp soft cloth to work up a foam that lifts out the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with another clean, wet sponge or cloth. Once all traces of cleaner have been rinsed off, pat dry with a soft, 100% cotton towel. To keep your interior in top condition, clean the leather about twice a year and immediately follow with Lexol Conditioner. Do not use on suede.

It works
Great leather cleaner but it doesn't work well with microfiber cloths. Had to rub it with hands to make foam and spray some water once in a while as it dries. But at the end cleaned my black leather seats very well. Recommended.

Didn't work for me
I had a person out to my house to repair a leather car seat; he recommeded this product to treat my furniture. I found that it takes the color out of my furniture upon testing it in a small spot. I now have a full bottle of product I cannot use as it strips the color from the leather. I had heard great things about the product from this person; beware, it may or may not work for you.

I'm glad I bought this product it works really easy. Just rub it on and rub it off. Then put there leather treatment on. Cleans leather good!

Excellent product.
This stuff, along with the leather conditioner, works great. I picked up a cheap leather couch for the basement, but didn't realize the previous owners were heavy smokers. The day after moving it in, I could smell it from my foyer. This handled 90% of the smoke smell, and made it presentable. The conditioner got another 5% of the smoke smell out, and made the leather much more pliable and soft. It also worked great on my leather car seats. Good product.

product works very good
This product works very good, it cleaned and livened up my leather couch. There were some greasy stains that were hard to get out but it took care of those real well. Thanks to the reviews here I decided to try some and was not disappointed, it seems that this product is hard to find locally at the stores and you probably need to purchase it on the web. The local hardware stores had leather cleaner that was more expensive and I didn't see much reason to believe it could work very well either yet most stores around here will usually let you return a product if it doesn't work.

Great leather cleaner!
I have tried some of the other cleaner/preserver products for leather, but none has worked as well as this for cleaning. You'll need a separate preserver, but you won't be upset about that once you see just how dirty your leather used to be! works well, and plays well with others...! Just use plenty of water and sud it up for maximum effect. If you skimp, it may not work as well for you - but then again, I didn't skimp, but I've barely used any product. This liter may last for life.

Customer Review :
Simple and easy
I've bought this from a local furniture dealer who recommended it based on how simple it is to use. I hated the old cleaners and conditioners where you had to mix and scrub and wipe and repeat. What a hassle. With this I just put it on an old towel and rub my furniture down. Beware, if you use a white towel you might be shocked at how much dirt was on your furniture before you cleaned it! When it is this simple to use, there are no excuses anymore for not conditioning your furniture!

Product Not Professional
This product appears to be a repackaged and diluted leather conditioner. The solution is watery and did not soften my leather couch. In fact it appears to make the leather worse and hard after the wet solution dries. The item came in a brown bottle with a peeling label and an extra dispenser cap tapped to the package with black electrical tape. The product did not appear professional. I would not buy this or recommend it to anyone.

More of a conditioner than a cleaner
I bought this product primarily to clean and condition my leather bags. When I applied it use sponge to my white purse which has been used for over a year now and is not "so white" anymore, it doesn't clean well. After I tried hard and used quite a lot cleaner and my arm became sore, it turned a little whiter if I examine close. I had to gave up. Since my purse is only 9"x8"x2", it will be impossible for me to clean the rest of my bag collection. The conditioning effect is yet to be tested by weather and time, but it certainly doesn't clean.

European Leather Restorer Leather Cleaner & Conditioner
Worked muched better than I anticipated. Our leather chair was discolored where my husband's head rests on it. I tried several different products before ordering this product and nothing worked. After applying the conditioner, it brought the original luster back to the chair. I was thrilled!

Questions & Answers
Question : How much do girls care about the interior of a car?
Girls is it a major turn off to have a clean but well worn and slightly stained car interior? Please help me to understand the female psyche! lol
Answer:
Yeah.. I like perfection. But perfection doesn't happen too often. lol When it comes to any car I own/drive, I like it to be very clean, and in really good condition (ie; if something is cracked of stained, I replace it *if* possible, or try to make it less noticeable atleast).. Really, it depends on the vehicle, the year and all. You can expect some wear and tear on an older vehicle, unless it was reeeeeally well maintained. Do you mean is it a turn off for us girls when a guy has a car with a "less than nice" interior? Me, personally.. I would imagine a guy who keeps his car/truck well maintained, and takes pride in the interior/exterior/mechanical end of the car/truck would be more apt to take pride in(and have respect for) his home, himself, his family/friends.. You know? Would I judge a guy harshly simply because his car's interior is worn, or has a stain?? Ofcourse not! lol Would I notice? Yeah.. =P

Question : Should I paint the interior of my car with bed liner?
I've got an old jeep cherokee its my first car, it definatly aint the prettiest thing on the road but it's still a great car... well i take it to some pretty rough places (where it's meant to be, after all it's a jeep) and the interior gets pretty fd up so I was thinking should i rip out all the carpet and just shoot the floor with bed liner? it seems like a good idea... I care about function not looks.
Answer:
Absolutely. Bedliner will make it look better and make it more durable. Plus it is easier to clean. Just make sure you go with a reputable bedliner like Line-x or Rhino Liner. I personally prefer Line-x. Do not use the auto parts store bought stuff. It will not hold up.

Question : Any good tips or info for how to care for leather seats in your car?
I've been trying to find tips & info about how to care for your leather seats & interior in your car, however I haven't found really anything. I know how to clean them, but as far as conditioning them & doing other things to help make them last, I don't even know where to start. What leather cleaners & conditioners do you recommend? Where can I buy them? What tips & techniques do you suggest that I use to help improve & or maintain the quality & condition of my leather interior? Thanks!
Answer:
Leather conditioners come in at least two types. Older leather conditioners had oils to soften and protect the leather. Newer conditioners are synthetic. Both work fine. Go to an auto parts store and get a good quality brand like Mothers or Maguiers. I have found that letting the leather get warm (from the sun) before applying seems to help it absorb the conditioner. Don't wait until your leather starts to get hard and cracked before applying the product.

Answer:
I would sell it for that price in a heart beat.It is a nice car,but not a collectors car,and with the price of gas being what it is,I would not think twice.I sold my 79 Phaeton 6 years ago for $5000.There were only a few of them made, and it was in show room condition, and was a one owner car (myself).I had to sell it because I was moving to Spain. It was a real gas hog,and I would have sold it anyway. So yes,$8000 is a good deal for you.The blue book doesn't even go back that far

Question : How do I take care of new car leather interior?
I just bought a new Chevy Equinox with leather and I want to know what products if any to use to keep it looking great.
Answer:
The best ever leather conditioning agent is mink oil. Either as oil or a cream applied to the leather at least once every 6 months. The mink oil restores the natural oils on the leather that have either been dried or washed out. It keeps the leather from cracking and keeps it looking new.Armor All is sythetic based and is mostly silicone. Good for vinyl but not the best for leather. The synthetic oils on armor all dries quickly and is not readily absorbed by the leather.

Question : How do I care for a leather handbag? Can I use products intended for leather car interiors? Or leather boots?
I have a couple of leather purses I bought from Ebay, & I'd like to know how to properly care for them. Do I use cleaners? Conditioners? How often should they be cleaned/conditioned? Thanks!!No, they aren't suede. They are "pebbled leather" if that makes a difference.
Answer:
You can buy a spray protectant at stores that sell leather wear. I used some on a leather jacket and it sheds water like a duck!

first of all do not use any type of protectants, sprays etc. they attract to much dust and dirt that will get into dash and vents.use a good quality chamois soaked in clean water and all excess water squeezed out.wipe dash and every thing once a week.wont scratch anything and looks factory new

Question : How to take care of interior wood in cars?
My 92 E-Class has a fair amount of wood-trim, and I would like to keep it in good shape.Any ideas to maintain it?Thanks!
Answer:
Altho MB has already applied anti-UV coating to the wooden surfaces, it is still better to keep them away from the sunlight. Else prepare for cracks to appear... It has happened to me (very small cracks tho) and a qualified bodyshop technician has told me that nothing can be done to fix it.

Question : Where can I learn about taking care of my car better?
My brother went to college, and left his 2005 Mustang at home. I take care of it regularly, cleaning the outside, and vacuming/conditioning the interior. I want to know how to take care of his engine and how to clean better. Where can I do this? Online websites or would I have to go some car place - like Auto Zone - to learn?
Answer:
Many small community colleges offer basic auto classes for a nominal fee on weekends or you can check to see if they offer continuing education adult classes in your area. Get yourself a copy of the repair manual for your model vehicle from a local book store or auto parts store like Auto Zone or Napa near you. They all have a section of maintenance and tools you need for your task. The basics would be to check the oil, transmission fluid, and coolant in your engine before you drive and check the air pressure of your tires at least once a week or at the minimum every time you fill up the gas. Oil changes every 3000 miles or so, and learning how to do it yourself will be a good beginning for you to start with. I'm impressed every time I see or hear a question like this and kudos to you for wanting to do more.
