2. Did not think it take so long to add to my car, but I was wrong. It took upwards of 40 hours. I did the entire car. inside the car, trunk, and under the hood. I also bought a molded carpet with the extra rubber on the bottom of it.
3. I used truck liner spray under the wheel well.
4. Padded the license plate.
5. Bought the extra hood liner.

Total Cost: $720.00

For the exact same song I went from listening to that song at a vol of 25 because of the outside noise and the engin to 13 after words. The car now is quite with no rattle. Its great to get outside the car and listen to it. Just booms. No rattle. The muffler rattled a little, so I screwed it tighter. This stuff is amazing! I am pushing 2 4,000 watt amps to two 12" subs. this stuff really does work dispite what people say. Sure I think you could get it cheaper or make it yourself, but why, its made for you here and does the job! I did have lots of cuts on my hands and fingers after finishing this up. I did not need the roller. If its cold the stuff does not mold as easy, but if you heat it up with a blow dryer or heat gun it well go into place. I do not know how other people do it, but make sure to keep an eye out where the screws go because once it is on its hard to find. I ended up placeing screws in the holes then laying it over and pushing the screw through the Dynamat. Boom Boom Boom. not blah blah blah.

Freakin Amazing

This stuff really is all it's hyped up to be. I was a little hesitant when i first opened the package, seeing how thin it was. But it really works. I installed it first on my left rear door on my '08 Subaru Impreza. That door compared to the rest is unreal. Like everyone says, it makes the door feel more solid and valuable. As far as audio quality, I only have the stock speakers still, but there was a difference in bass response and clarity from that single speaker. It does not annoyingly resonate the door like it used to.
It did take a while to install it on the single door, but the rest should be faster since i have an idea of how to do it now. I read multiple installation guides, and they all said to pull off the plastic weather sheet and use it as a guide of how to cut the dynamat. THIS DID NOT WORK FOR ME. The plastic sheet does not sit snug against every curve of the door panel, so when i had used it as a guide, my dynamat sheet ended up being a bit small, and had to piece in some parts. Also, the holes in the plastic will not line up perfectly with your dynamat once you get it on the door since it is molding around all the curves. I cut the bottom edge first and the speaker hole, removed only the bottom edge of the paper backing, and worked my way up, cutting the needed holes as i went. Now it has a very clean look, but more importantly, a great sound.

Can't tell if it worked in my Fit

I put this in my 2007 Honda Fit Sport and I honestly can't tell if it made a real difference. Sure it seems like the road noise is duller. The wind sound isn't as harsh but did it actually improve anything? It sounds like it got rid of some of the higher pitched road noise but the low dull roar still gets through, which might just be because of the tires. I put it in my two front doors (doubled on the outer and inner panel) and the rear hatch door. I still have a bunch left so I might do more but it takes so long I don't know if it's worth it. The first door took like 3 hours until I got the hang of how to do it and how to get the doors off. I can't say this isn't a good product, it obviously does make a difference in the sound but I don't know if it really works in my car. I probably won't know until I get new tires since I still have the stock, which have been said to be obnoxiously loud.

Why is Amazon.com selling this product?

I have long been an Amazon customer. 99% of the time, the products have been great. The customer service at Amazon has also been a joy to deal with. I saw Fix It on Amazon and was going to purchase it. I went to a very well known search engine and searched out the complaints regarding this scratch fixer. The complaints were numerous. The main theme being, "this does NOT work". I reconsidered my plan to buy this from Amazon due to the comments I discovered about this product.
I can't help but wonder why Amazon is selling this item to their loyal customers? Rest assured, from now on, I will thoroughly research any & all products before I purchase them from Amazon. For some crazy reason, I was under the assumption, Amazon would NOT sell me an inferior product. As the saying goes, "live and learn".

My only problem with using this was doing so at the right temperature. I used the pen in the garage and then made an effort to keep the car outside and in the sun as much as possible all afternoon. It got up to 70 that day - which is unusual in my area at this time of year. the mark pretty was pretty well concealed except for a couple of deeper places. I plan to go over it again when I know we will have warmth and sunshine - which is needed for the chemistry reaction of the stuff to work.

Pretty cool for a temporary fix and sure a lot cheaper than going to a body shop!

It works well, but the squeak it bad.

I was torn between 3 or 4 stars but I'm an optimist so gave it 4. I installed 3 bulk packs of dynamat extreme and many many yards of ensolite in my 2009 Honda Accord V6 to tame down the road noise and to cut down on some reflections that bugged me. I used this tool quite a bit but found myself using the wooden end almost as must as the roller end. It would be nice if it was ball bearing as someone trying to quiet their car, listening to this thing squeak almost drove me insane. I used the roller quite a bit when installing the ensolite barrier though.

I was an MECP Master installer in a previous life. I also competed SQ for many years and dB for a year or two.

Good tool but I wish that they would make a ball bearing version.

The roller worked great, but you don't absolutely need the roller to do the work. I did make the job a little easier.

Good product!

Works as should and makes applying the Dynamat easier and very affective. Some reviewers say the Dynamat doesnt really need to be apllied with a roller but I find it much easier when done, so that you get into the tight spots!

The best roller, with a little but.

This is the best roller there is, it's rubber made allowing to "stick" to the noise dampener (not like the wooden ones that slip when applying).

The only thing I didn't like was that it is to stiff, it does not roll freely. However, this was easily fixed, by separating the blades holding the rubber drum (this was HARD to do, that metal is really hard, but doable).

Just finished dynamating the entire trunk in my 2006 WRX STi and this roller made the job much easier! I'd highly recommed this to anyone applying large sheets of sound deadener on unever surfaces!!

Great Sticker!

I got this sticker for my wife because she is such a big fan of Top Gear. The quality is great, instructions for applying it are very well written and clear. It was very easy to put on.

The only suggestion I have is to offer it in different colors like red, grey, yellow etc.

My brothers and I discovered Top Gear about 3 years ago and there is nothing that compares to this show. This graphic is really cool and good quality as well. My only problem now is explaining to everyone who the Stig is. Oh well, more people to convert to the Top Gear cult I guess.

This is one of the best car stickers I have seen in quite sometime. While most of us in the States have no idea who the Stig is, there are a few select individuals who have risen above the paltry nature of the speed channel, and discovered Top Gear. It's a show on BBC for those who don't know. You should all check it out, and then maybe you'll be cool enough to sport a sticker that proclaims to the world "I am the STIG!!!!"
