Wix Cabin Air Filters are designed to circulate clean air inside the cabin. They filter the contaminants down to microscopic size and provide a linear path for low air restriction. These are pleated paper filters and are placed in the outside air intake of the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

This is actually the third one I purchased from WIX and they fit and work very well. The first one was a bit of a bugger, but after I modified the opening(broke the dam thing) the second one went in quite nicely.

Questions & Answers
Question : Chrysler Towne and Country Climate Control 2002/BLOWER MOTOR MALFUNCTION?
Blower motor runs at 80%. When attempting to shut off blower via shutting down climate control system the blower motor switches to 100% power with internal air. Turning fan speed selector gives no results. All other functions of IR 3 zone climate control are working.
Answer:
Think there might be a recall on that, should look up recalls on your van. Might try that or else, sounds like a sensor or the computer is messing up.

Question : What could be wrong with Saturn L200 Climate Control System?
Tonight while driving our Saturn on a family outing, the climate control system just all of a sudden reset itself. The LED display went dark, fan stopped, then it came back on as if turning the ignition and restarted. At first I thought maybe something like a bump in the road, after all we were on the i-state driving 70+ mph. But by the end of the night, it was shutting itself off and on over and over. Each time it would light back up and restart, it wouldn't make it 5 seconds before cycling down again. It was late, dark, and cold...so other than just a visual inspection for loose wires under the dashboard I haven't really checked anything. Luckily, my wife is off work until the new year, but once she goes back she won't be able to defrost the windows of a morning or heat the vehicle. Where do I need to look. Is this electrical, computer malfunction, fuse gone bad, loose wire, etc? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Answer:
There is a fuse block in the engine compartment that has fuses, relays and circuit breakers in it. It will be about the size of a cigar box near the battery. Remove the lid and read the legend. It should have one labeled "climate control" or "heat/air" or something like that. It's possible the circuit breaker has gone bad. They work like a breaker on a house, but reset themselves when the circuit cools. You may have a short somewhere, but I would try that first.Hope that helps and good luck

Question : What does "cool" mean on a car's climate control system (with AC off)?
Does it mean the car is blowing cool air, or is it just bringing in air from the outside? I'm talking about a slider with Cool on the left, Warm in the center and Hot on the right. Which one do you have to set it on to actually bring in unaltered air from outside of the car?

Question : 06 Outback Climate Control System problem (manually controlled one)?
in my dads 06 2.5i Outback with the manually controlled climate control, i just noticed the other day, that there was chilly air coming out of the middle right air vent (i dont know, maybe 50-60 degrees) the middle left vent was putting out very hot air, (it would burn your hand if you left it their for a minute.) The far right vent was warm, but not hot, and the vent on the left by the left mirror was putting out air the proper temputure. I had the heat turned on all the way, with the fan on low.It doesn't make a difference what speed the fan is on, however, when i closed the far left and right vent, and placed my hand over the middle left vent, only then could i force hot air out of the middle right vent (the cold one) I dont think it has this problem with defrost, but havn't checked. Also, the passenger footwell doesn't seem to get warm, but not entirely sure, will check later. So far it seems mainly to be with the top 4 air vents We live in upstate NY, so its still going to be cold here for a while, what should i do?I do ALL of the maintenance on the car, and am good with cars, so is this something i could fix? Will this affect the A/C in the summer?Car has been VERY reliable, and we are satisfied with it. The car has 105k, so what could the problem be?105,000 miles not 105there is no warrenty
Answer:
I would take advantage of your warranty if I was you. Give them a chance to fix it if it's something you are really concerned about. If they can't find a solution, then try legacygt.com and see if anyone there has some ideas.

Question : SAAB 9-5 climate control system?
I own a 2000 SAAB 9-5 wagon and the climate control fan only blows through the defog and rear passenger vents no matter what setting it's on. What could be a cause. Also the reverse lights stay on no matter what gear it's in.auto transmission
Answer:
You need to specify the type of transmission for advise on the reverse light problem. This light is activated by a switch on the manual trans and on the auto trans it is the selector switch assy. You would need to test this switch for failure. For the climate cont issue. you can get the unit to run a self test. find this info in the owners manual. It is possible that the Climate cont unit is faulty. Either way you would need a TECH2 to correctly identify both problems cheap. Otherwise it would be trial and error and would cost you mucho bucks.

Question : Brake light, Auto control climate system problems. Please help?
02' grand cherokee limited V8Problems:1) Left brake light is not working when the park lamps are on and aslo rear left park lamp goes off at same time. When the park lamps are off everything works fine. I understand that the problem is not the bulbs. 2) Passenger side always flows cold air :( I tried all the combinations ( Auto, manuel, a\c, lo, hi, 80f etc...) In all conditions the right side of the climate system flows cold air.Thank you very much, waiting for help...Oh! by the way front speakers blow in 2 days (tweeters)
Answer:
As far as the Brake light issue my first guess would be a faulty connection with a Grounding wire. They tend to be hooked to the frame or Body of vehicle in various places. A loose one or disconnected ground wire. Will cause this winking out trouble. Another way to notice this effect is if you can see any lights that seem somewhat dimmer than another. particularly a tail light lamp or park lamp. If so the dimmer one can be the side thats is not getting a secure ground. When this occurs. the lamp can still lite but it is now lighting by having the power of another lit bulb drawing the power throuh it. The climate control system might be a Stuck control door / or a solenoid controling a door inside the plenum of the Air duct system. But if you have the most recent version of a new vehicle. several items like this can be having troubles due to a Computer Module not talking right with the system. I Test drive For Ford Motor in the Desert of Arizona we do a lot of Climate Control evaluation. With luck it may very well be a simply piece of Debri blocking a control Door Inside the ducting from moving.

Question : I can't control the heat on my 99 Sable with auto climate control, When system is on heat overides everything?
Is there a solenoid or flow switch that controls coolant flow to the heater coil? The heat is totally overpowering! I can divert airflow to the various outlets using the control panel but the heat will not shut off when the system is on,
Answer:
There's suppose to be an atc sensor for it, On other Fords it usually goes wrong and stays stuck on hot.Atc stands for automatic temp. control sensor.
