great deal
The product has increased my horespower and to my delight has improved the MPG on my Tahoe .

Tahoe
i installed this unit on my 2004 Tahoe. It was a little harder to install than anticipated. Took 3-4 beers. Had to cut a good chunk out of my fan shroud. Looks sweet though and definitely gave me some good power.

Great Product at a Great price
Install took about an hour. Instructions were easy to follow. I can feel a little increase in power off the line, but more so when going from about 35 to hwy speeds. I think it will preform better after I install a new exhaust system to help get all the air a place to go.

Great throttle response, not better MPG
I have put a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit on my Chevy Tahoe and Honda Civic. One thing that is immediately noticable is the greatly improved throttle response. When you press on the pedal, it jumps off. We have not really enjoyed a significant improvement in MPG. It may help a tad, but driving style and tire pressure I think our bigger influences on the MPG you get. When excelerating heavy, you will have a significant increase in engine noise. We actually like it, but some may be annoyed. The best part is not having the guys who change your oil trying to sell you a $10 air filter for $30.

Cold air intake for Ford Expedition
Installation of the cold air intake on our 2009 Ford Expedition went pretty well and removing the factory intake left the engine compartment looking clean and well organized. The parts forming the box itself were hard to join tightly together, leaving a slight gap which is ultimately hidden by the filter and doesn't seem to affect performance. However, it would've been nice if the dimension were a little more precise to close the gap. This addition did a lot to wake up the 5.4L engine with some noticeable HP increase and appears to provide approx. 1-2 mpg gallon more as long as you travel at about 62 mph. My wife called me the first time she drove it and asked what I did to the truck to make it sound like a hot rod. The first time she put her foot in it she looked around to see if there was a performance car passing her.

K&N Intake for 2009 F-1504X4 Supercrew
I was getting between 17 and 19 MPG before installing the new intake system. Now I am getting between 18 and 20. The noise level is the same as before until you need the power with a load on the truck. I do see a big difference in gas millage, if I baby it, and will get up to 23 MPG when driving 70MPH on the level highway over 60 miles total back and forth. It was tough getting 21MPG when driving at 65MPH before the new intake was installed. My next step will be adding dual exhaust, which should give my truck it's best gas mileage.

WOW
I really like this. My mileage has increased by 3 mpg in town I don't know about highway I haven't had a chance to do a good road trip; Horsepower is up by 15. Noise is a little higher than with the old Lincoln intake it now gets peoples attention. I'm glad I got it!!!

GREAT!
This has helped me with gas mileage, arrived on time, and it was really easy to install. Recommend it
Rating :
sound is awsome
I already had dual exhaust on my '07 f150 and it sounded great, I really didn't believe that there would be much improvement in the sound when I installed the k&n cold air intake, but I was suprisingly wron. It sounds awsome, like the truck is getting ready to chew someones head off. There is an increase in hp, I don't know how much because I have not put it on a dyno, but you can defenitely feel a difference. Installation was pretty easy with the step-by-step instructions. I would defenitely recommend this intake if you have a few bucks to spend on an upgrade.

Sounds great
This product was very easy to install took less than 1hr. The air intake plus my super chip work great together. next is the exhaust then i'm done for a while

Gas Mileage???
I've only put a few hundred miles on my '07 F150 since putting the air intake system on. There is a increase in response from my engine, but I have not seen an increase in fuel economy. I would recommend this product for added horsepower, but would not recommend it for the increase in fuel economy that is advertised.

Customer Review :
Very Good Buy
I just had it arrive very quickly, also installed on my 2009 JK Jeep. I wasn't expecting to fly back in my seat with this intake but it did have a noticable throttle response and a new low end quickness. Very nice if your commute is in the city... passing power. Took about 2 hours to install due to minor mistakes on my part the instructions are thorough but i think its easier installing by the picture. All in all a very good buy for the Jk wrangler
Rating :
Great upgrade
I liked the idea of improving air-flow to my engine (2010 Jeep JK), so bought this system based on K&N reputation. The directions were a little lacking, and I have more than an average knowledge of engines. One bolt stripped out and I had to use parts I had around the garage. The installation took me about 2 hours, from removal of the old system to installation of the new system. Is performance improved? Not indicated by the seat of my pants, but I do believe their performance graph. No additional noise was noticed from in under the hood. I would recommend a system like this for anyone, but it just doesn't have to be K&N. I would have hoped for more - but this is my first purchase of their product.
Rating :
Highly recommended
My 2008 Jeep JK Wrangler has noticeably better low-end response with this installed. Intake roar at WOT is pretty sweet as well. I don't know (yet) if this will improve my fuel economy, but it certainly hasn't negatively impacted it, which is fine with me.
I put all the parts together and figured out where each part goes; after that, it took about 45 mins to install. I had a heck of a time trying to get the front engine bolt off, but besides that, it was quite easy.

Easy Install, Good power Gain
My first impression when I test drove the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was that it was quite gutless. Coming from a 325hp Chevy truck, this was going to be a big change. After doing some research, it seemed that a cold air intake was the best bang for the buck so to speak. UPS guy dropped it off at about 11:30, I unpacked everything and gave the instructions a quick once over. Looked easy so I decided to install over lunch hour. Simple as heck, probably took less than 1/2 hour to install. Took it out for a little test drive and power gain was instantly noticeable. Don't have acces to a dyno, but the good ole seat of the pants dyno worked just fine. I love the sound of a cold air intake too. Reminds me of the old days when we flipped the lid of the air cleaner on Mom's Buick. Highly recommend!

Questions & Answers
Question : What is the % of reduction CO2 emission using district cooling system compare to individual cooling system?
If we have multiple buildings with each Individual building cooling system consists of chillers, cooling towers, AHU etc and if we would replace all those components with district cooling plant. How much CO2 emission can we reduce yearly? If possible, please help to provide statistics for Malaysia and other countries.
Answer:
I'm involved with the construction of this type of system. It's a great system in so many ways.District cooling plants tend to operate slightly more efficiently than is possible using conventional air conditioning systems because they can incorporate measures like thermal storage in large tanks of cold water and they can do most of their cooling at night and distribute the chilled water during the day.Another advantage occurs over the equipment life cycle. If a skyscraper installes a chiller, they are stuck with it almost for the life of the building. In 40 years time the chiller will be worn out and working innefficiently and technologically obsolete. There is sure to be better technology on the market. With district cooling, they can upgrade chillers at any time without disruption to chilled water supply because they have a large number of chillers in a district cooling plant.

Question : Emission Control System on 2003 Chevy Malibu Classic?
I recently had my check engine light come on, but then after a few days it went off, now it is back on. So, I took it to Advance Auto Parts and used their diagnostic testing machine and it came back as Emissions Control System Leak EVAP(Large)...Does that mean I possibly might just have to replace the gas cap or is it somewhere in the hoses or the vacuum itself? If anyone could help, please do so thanks!
Answer:
Most common is the gas cap leak. I would replace that fist if that doesn't help it could be a leak in a line.

Question : Help Emission Control system problem with a 53 reg Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4?
I was driving home this evening when a light came on the dashboard. I checked the Suzuki manual, and saw it was the .Emission Control system whatever that is. Is this some sort of engine problem? What is an Emission Control system?I am a girl and not very mechanically minded and I am worried it will cost me a fortune to fix.
Answer:
Hi i work on suzukis. Common faults are egr valves and o2 sensors, both of which will cost approx 100-200 to rectify at main dealers little garages would be cheaper.99% certain it will be one of these 2

Question : Problems with Emission System in vauxhall corsa comfort?
I have a Corsa Comfort and the emission light has come on and I am losing power in the car. Does anyone know how to fix this kind of problem and can I do it myself without involving a mechanic??? Any answers are appreciated.Thanks.
Answer:
Hey there,Could be a number of things.Have a look at these forum threads to see others with your problem.http://www.usedcarmart.co.uk/forum/archive/index.php/t-11583.htmlhttp://www.reviewcentre.com /vt112160_start0_orderasc.htmlI suspect a trip to the Vauxhall Dealer or another garage with the right diagnostics equipment is the only option. In general the emmission light comes on when the engine management system believes the car is not functioning as expected. This could simply be faulty sensors. You would not be abel to fit these and test them as such without specialist equipment. If you want to see what is involved the Haynes Manual for the Corsa probably will explain in. (Some public libraries keep copies) http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&produ ctId=43353&langId=-1This is one of the comments from the forum that seems to make sense.==========================================One point though, the ecu machine that reads fault codes never detects the air mass meter, or if it does detect a fault, it usually points to the first oxygen sensor. This happened to me. Apparently, air mass meters on Corsa's go quite regularly (about 50K miles) and o2 sensors hardly at all. ==========================================I would think this could cost £50 to £150 to sort outGood Luck,

Question : What wavelengths appear in the system's emission spectrum?
n = 1 = E = 0.0 eVn = 2 = E = 1.5 eVn = 3 = E = 4.0 eVWhat are the wavelengths that appear in the system's emission spectrum?
Answer:
Find the photons with wavelengths corresponding to the energy of 1.5 eV, 4.0 eV and 2.5 eV, since those are the gaps between the energy levels there.1.00 eV = 1.60 * 10^-19 Jh = 6.63 * 10^-34 m^2kg/sc = 3.00 * 10^8 m/sE = hc / λ

Question : How to fix a 2002 Hyundai sonata EVAP Emission control system, Check engine light?
I have a 2002 Hyundai sonata and the check engine light came on. I had a computer read out for it and they are telling me a its the EVAP Emission Control System Vent Circuit Malf. Code number P0446. The question is how do you fix it?
Answer:
ill tell you how but i need the best answer from you :PWhen did the light come on ? was it after you filled up your gas tank??If that is the case you might want to go to the Gas Cap and make sure its tight - remove it and then turn it till you are JUST tight enough before it clicks THEN while pushing down on the cap turn it till you get 1 click that will ensure that the cap is on tight.Reset the light and drive the vehicle for 500 miles - that will reset the Drive Cycle of the vehicle - and if there is still a problem then you will know that the Cap itself is defective or you have a plastic vent line broken seom where.OH by the way - the Canister does not have a sensor on it - the vent sensor is located on the gas tank - it senses pressure , and what it does is manages the amount of loss in the tank - this happens to not allow fuel vapors in the AIR - hence cleaner vehicle polutants...... Check the gas cap reset light drive 500 miles recheck if light comes back on....done deal *)Good Luck to you.

Question : What is a Emission System in a car? The light went on displaying the emission system? what it mean?
well my car has been acting up a little bit. everytime i stop in traffic lights, the cars accelerates a little bit but not too much to make it dangerous. it just like coughs everytime i stop, but when i go on park. the coughs in the car stop. what is it that?
Answer:
Sounds like you have a sensor problem. This is what happens. a sensor goes bad giving the computer bad information your car goes into a "closed loop mode" which means it no longer adjusts for speed, acceleration, timing and all the other things it does to make you engine run smooth and efficient. Take your car to a shop get the "codes" run and they should be able to tell you what is wrong. (probably an o2 sensor) Once you get it replaced and have the codes cleared you car should be back to normal again. Plan on a bill (hopefully less than $100-$200) Hope that I helped......R

Question : What do you do when your EVAP emission control system detects a leak (fuel take system) 2002 Honda Civic EX?
Here is what the code read...1) loose fuel cap (fixed and bought a new one)2) Vapor Canister saturated.3)Failed vent solenoid4)Failed purge solenoidWhat do I do?
Answer:
You fixed it when you tightened the new fuel cap until it clicked. That's the number one reason the code is displayed. Have the code erased by a shop - parts houses like Autozone aren't allowed by law to do it. If the code pops up again, check all the vacuum line connections and see if something is cracked, loose, or disconnected. Like as not, clicking the cap was all it needed.
