Questions & Answers
Question : Wiper Spray on driver side works, but only out of one hole on Mazda Protege...?
I have an 02 Mazda Protege and the wiper spray has 2 nozzles and each nozzle has 2 holes on it. The driver side nozzle sprays fast out of one and spits a little (doesnt even reach the windshield) from the other... Any ideas?* Should have mentioned (figured it was a given) I am topped up on washer fluid... This has been going on for awhile, and I have been through at least 5 jugs since it started.
Answer:
You've probably got some crud buildup in that one hole. A piece of small wire or the tip of a small jewelers screwdriver will usually clean it out.

Question : LED on windshield wiper spray nozzles ?
Is it legal? My friend just installed a purple one on my car. I'm kind of afraid to use it but he says it's legal because it's not red/blue.

Question : Windsheild Wiper Fluid Not Spraying?
I live in Cnaada and i own a 1993 Nissan Sentra Classic. After visitng the mechanic for a brake issues I've discovered when trying to pullback on the lever for wiper washer fluid, there is no fluid being sprayed onto my windshield. The wipers go into motion but no fluid is sprayed.Normally when their is no fluid left in the reservoir their still is an audible tone of the pump trying to spray something but in this case there isnt any audible sound whatsoever. I checked the 20A fuse for the labeled Wiper Washer and it appears to be fine.Im now thinking the mechanic detached something for the wiper fluid pump. I could go back into the mechanics but was hoping for some DIY quick fix. The reservoir is full with fluid and the spray nozzles have been cleaned out. My main car battery seems fine. Im strongly thinking the prob is with the pump. Can someone direct me on how to inspect this area to make sure everything is attached correctly.Tx
Answer:
the pump is probably on the bottom of the washer bottle, look and see if the wires are hooked to it and if they are your looking at a new washer motor.

Question : windshield washer nozzle question?????????
i want to get the washer nozzles that go on the wiper arms, and actually i need the whole kit. and i dont wanna put them on the hood because its carbon fiber. where can i get the kit? and what do i look for?
Answer:
Anco and Trico both make these kits. They should be available at an auto parts store or they should be able to order them for you. The parts guy will have to look in the back part of the book under accessories for the items. They clip on to the wiper blades for some and some clip onto the wiper arm.

Question : LED WASHER NOZZLES (snakeeyes) QUESTION!?
Instructions:1.)Remove the original washer nozzle2.)Install rubber gasket on new washer nozzle3.)Insert LED washer Nozzle into existing hole4.)Connect RED wire to corner parking light5.)Connect black wire to vehicles chassis ground6.)Plug windshield washer hose onto nippleI need better directions...for one, how do i remove the existing nozzle? and where and how do i connect the red wire to this parking light (where is it) also where is the chassis ground and how do i connect that wire ...be detailed i dont know squat lol ALSO my nozzles are not on my hood they are closer to my wipers
Answer:
Ok, start with location.I've seen some people locally that have mounted them on the hood even though the factory nozzles aren't normally there. (This involves drilling holes.)removal of your old nozzles should be easy. Just take a good look at how they're attached. (may involve removing the shroud that they are mounted to.)The parking light or marker light is the yellow one at the front of the vehicle near the headlights. using a splice clamp that should have been provided with the install kit it is easy to attach to the factory wiring. If no attachments were provided, you will have to cut the wire going to the marker light and manually splice the new wire into it.(be sure to use heat shrink tubing or another weather proof covering as it will be exposed to the elements.)Chassis ground is easy. it's any metal surface on the car.as the negative wire from the battery is connected to the cars body to provide a negative grounding point anywhere on the car there is a screw or bolt in the metal.

Question : how do you repair a windshield wiper fluid hose on a 1999 buck park avenue?
Whenever I go to use my windshield washer fluid, nothing comes out when I turn the nozzle on. I have been told that I can replace it myself but I don't know how and where to begin. Can somebody please help??
Answer:
I would have someone hit the switch inside so that you can see where the leak is,if nothing is leaking, take the tube off the sprayer and see if fluid will come out the end of the tube.I usually use the tubing at the hardware store to replace broken lines because it can be hard to find in the auto parts stores.

Question : Windshield Wiper problem?
There is a leak. In the pipe thing (sorry, I don't know what it's called) that connects the wiper fluid tank to the nozzle it spritzes out of onto the wind shield. Next to no fluid makes it to my window. I guess it is dripping out into the rest of the car, so I don't use it because I fear that the car will catch fire. (don't laugh at me)How do I fix this problem? I can see the cracks, I thought about fixing it with duct tape until I can figure out how to really fix it, but that might not be a wise idea.Sorry I don't know much about cars, just want to know what to do.
Answer:
goto autozone and get a replacement hose

Question : Can you buy little heaters for your car's windshield washer nozzles?
I have a problem with my nozzles freezing up on my car and it creates a very hazardous situation when I try and use the wipers. I have de-icer fluid in the lines but I think it freezes at the nozzles. When it's thawed out (I pour a hot teapot full of water on them before I leave for work) they work perfectly fine.I need something that I can install underneath to put a lot of heat on them to keep them from freezing over. It's VERY annoying!Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.
Answer:
HIthe windshield fluid with the anti freeze in it should not freeze?? your not diluting it are you?? it supposed to be use Straight .. there's not heaters for the washer nozzles..good lucktim
