Exactly what I ordered

I got exactly what I ordered from amazon. The product is exactly what I rented from an auto part store to do my brakes on my G6. I decided to buy one since I always do my own brakes on my car and SUV, and amazon had the same one for a good price. I like the fact it's for both regular disc brakes and screw rear brakes, which I have on my G6. The product seems to be of high quality material, which interested me in the first place.

Answer:
Can't run 3 GTX 295s in Tri-SLI. SLI will run 4 GPUs max even in Tri-SLI and the GTX295 has 2 gpus--can only run 2 GTX295s. Also your PSU is too wimpy even for only 2 GTX295s. Suggest you take the money you save on the video card and get the 965 Extreme i7 and a PC Power and Cooling 1200watt PSU. Ultras are junk. May want to look here if you're going to design an SLI rig. If you go to the certified PSUs for SLI you will see there are no certified PSUs for 3 GTX295s because you can't run 3 of them:http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build_psu.html

Question : 1963 Chevy Impala Brake Issues!?
So i did the brake conversion from front drums to disc. I got the conversion kit, which included the booster, dual master cylinder, brakes, calipers, rotors, spindles, spindle brackets, lines hardware. So i got it all hooked up but cant seem to get pressure in the lines, unless i pump the brake which is minimal pressure. ALL brake lines are new so theres no leak, drums and rear brakes are all new also. All lines bled. Theres two spots on the dual master cylinder for the brake lines, does it matter on which front or rear lines connect to on the master cylinder. also THE ONE THING THE KIT DIDNT COME WITH IS A PROPORTIONING VALVE, could that be the prob? Educated answers preferred over guesses, thanks alot!

Answer:
Not having a proportion valve is a problem, there should be the original one mounted to the frame under the driver side just below the firewall. There should also be a check valve and vacuum supply hose going to the booster from the intake manifold. I take it you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it on the car. The master cylinder should have a big and small chamber. The big chamber is for the front disc brakes and should be closest to the booster and the small chamber is for the rear brakes. This is because the brake caliper requires more fluid then the rear wheel cylinders. Hope this helps. Christopher

Question : burn ps2 linux?
ok, so we know that we cant burn ps2 games. so i downloaded ps2 linux, the thing im asking is can you burn it? sense linux is not owned by anyone, so therefore should be able to burn. i mean, anyone can download regular linux, so sony should not have the copyright code thing on the disk, so it can be runned on the ps2 and anyone should be able to run it, probided they have all the essential components nedded to run it. so basically the $200 are on the hardware components on the kit, and nothing on the disks. so can you? i mean its linux, it should be......

Answer:
Yea, you can burn Linux on a disk, but you just have to make sure it is in the correct format for the ps2 to read it.

Question : 1966 mustang 289 a/t disc brake conversion?
alright i have manual drums brakes and i'd like to convert to front power disc brakes with dual bowl master cylinder. in the future, i'd like to do a rack and pinion kit also. cjponyparts. com sells a bundle kit with:Crossmember for Tubular Control ArmsMotor Mount KitPair of Spindles11” Complete Front Disc Brake KitPair of Stainless Steel Brake HosesPair of Coil SpringsSet of Upper & Lower Tubular Control ArmsManual or Power Rack & Pinion with Tie RodsPair of Gas ShocksPair of Inner Fender Panels1” Front Sway Bar with BushingsAll Hardwaremy question is what would recommend, buying the brakes right now and rack and pinion later, what kind of power brakes w/ dual bowl master for a cheap price, would i still have to pump the brakes to a stop, and is the kit above worth it. i'm kinda tight on money right now ,but my pony is a daily driver so safety is becoming an issue.one last question, would i be able to do this job by myself?

Answer:
If money is an issue, put ford granada front discs on it. It is pretty much a bolt on swap & you will at least be able to stop at reasonable speeds.

Will all this fit in the case and is this good enough to play Crysis?

2 GB for RAM is not enought for windows vista to use for gamesI think than with 3 GB works every new game and you would´t need any upgrate for 2 years...

Question : Is this mechanic trying to rip me off?
I bought a 1996 ford contour for 1,500.00 with the understanding that it needed some work. I didn't take it to get a diagnostic before signing the bill of sale (big mistake i know this) but i took it to the mechanic yesterday and he basically told me i wasted my money. I am willing to put 500 in to my car maximum. Here is a list of what he told me i need to get done. Please tell me which of these are absolutely imperative.Computerized wheel alignment - 70.00Complete coolant exchange - 90.00Radiator hose package - 130.00Brake fluid exchange package - 50.00oil change - 34.00Serpentine belt - 41.00Remove and replace alternator drive belt - 56.00oil leak diagnosis - 28.00Coolant leak package - 28.00Front break package - 130.00Front disc break rotor - 50.00x2front disc hardware kit - 10.00rear break service - 350.00axles L - 127.00axles R - 66.00Remove and install axle shaft assembly, both - 170.00The mechanic did a seftey inspection and gave me these estimates based on what he checked. If i take the car for a diagnosis does that include leak diagnosis for the coolant and the oil?

Answer:
Thats alot of stuff, much of it is just preventative. Are you having specific problems with the car? Do the brakes grind or squeak? If not you probably don't need brakes right away. Is the tire wear uneven, is it pulling one way or the other? If not you don't need an alignment. Are you leaking coolant? Does it test ok with a tester? If thats fine you don't need to replace your hoses or coolant. Are the belts sqeeling? Look at them, do they look chalky, cracked, frayed? If not then you don't need them. Oil leak diagnosis isn't going to do anything. Where is the leak? How bad is it? Is it leaving oil on the driveway. Small leaks are not urgent. Watch your oil level and see if it goes down. If you're loosing more than say 1qt a month then maybee you should do something about the leak. Its not clear what he things is wrong with your axles from that list.My biggest concern here is your brakes, and I'd also want to know if it needed front end work like wheel bearings or tie rods or something in the steering. This is a pretty expensive brake job BTW. I see about $650 there and thats too high. Worry most about the front brakes. Maybee you can pass on the rears if you have to. I've had a full 4 wheel brake job at les scwabs for about $400-$500. If you did this yourself it could be less. For some reason, most brake places love to sell calipers and rotors, when people that do their own work just pop in a new set of pads for $50. You can see the rotors behind your front wheels (metal disk thing). If they're deeply groved (some is normal), then they need to be at least turned. If not, then just a new set of pads should be fine. If a caliper is dragging, then it needs to be replaced, otherwise don't replace it. You should be able to get someone to put on a new set of pads for about $100, but if the brakes are grinding, then you may need rotors, and maybee calipers too.Get another opinion on the brakes, and when they're doing that have them check the wheel bearings and front end. The rest is fluff. I would think that you should be able to fix the brakes and any front end issues for $500.T

Question : How long will it take to get this work done on my car?
I was just wondering about how long it would take a shop to do this work:new front brake disc pad setReplace front disc brake caliper hardware or brushingsrear break shoedrum break hardware kitflush break systemdot 3 break fluid/flushreplace right front wheel stud/lug nutI'm sorry if any of that is confusing or wrong, they just printed out an estimate for me and i wanted to know about how long that would take?thank you so much

Answer:
Based on my experiences I would expect it to take 3-4 hours but if you want to know for sure ask the mechanic that gave you the estimate. PS on this type of work it never hurts to get an estimate from someone else. Also did they say anything about grinding or refinishing ether the front disk brakes or the rear drums. That is almost always done when you have brake work done.

Answer:
The 9400GT is a puny little video card that draws a maximum of just 50 watts, according to nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9400gt_us.html (click on the specifications tab.)For such a puny card, even the weakest PSU can drive it.Don't bother wasting your money on a new PSU if you are going to get such a weak card.
