THIS CAP IS BETTER THAN FACTORY ONE.
IT HAS BRASS INSERTS.
THE FACTORY HAS ALUM.
IF YOU USE A SOCKET FOR THE 2 BOLTS YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE A VERY THIN WALL SOCKET TO USE.
BUT THESE CAPS ARE VERY GOOD.
SO I GOT 2 WHEN ONLY NEEDED 1.
NOW WILL BE READY FOR NEXT TIME.

Nice cap
Well made cap. The selling point for me were the brass terminal. I replaced a new aluminum terminaled cap that corroded in just a few months. I also bought the rotor which I threw away because it wasn't as nice as the one I was already using.

Excellent Product, woth the money paid
I have been witnessing people having their gasoline stolen from their cars where I live in a Baltimore suburb. The rising cost of fuel will only push this activity further. Even though I did not purchase this item from Amazon, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a locking gas cap. You can go to [...] and find out which part is made for your vehicle. The just enter the part number on the search bar on top. This specific model fits my 2003 Kia Spectra perfectly, even though the gas door must be released from the inside on the vehicle.

Not designed to allow gas door to close
Made of plastic. The design appears to lock, but can be strong-armed off by a pre-teen. Biggest problem is the design is high-profile and will not allow my gas door to fully close, although the manufacture's specifications state that this model should fit my foreign-built SUV.
So, I haven't actually used it once, because it invites any passersbys to close the ajar gas cap door only to discover they can't because the car's owner tried to use a goofy-looking plastic locking gas cap. This just invites trouble...

Which suspension parts? Some can be repaired with new bushings and ball joints. If any are bent rusted or broken they need replacing. Are you talking about struts and shocks? Did you lose your oil cap? If you did you'll need another before you drive the car. Crankcase oil will blow out the oil fill hole. You will need an air filter is yours is dirty.

Question : Where to find replacement glass for a truck cap/camper top?
I have a Century truck cap that came off of a '94 Mazda B4000 pickup. We bought the pickup after it had been vandalized, and all the cap windows but the front were smashed. Century does not sell parts or anything directly to the public, they only go through their dealers; I called my local dealer and they basically hinted that it would cost a LOT to get the replacement glass for the 4 side windows and rear window, plus I'd have to drag the thing down there so they could look at it and get all the info, and pay them BEFORE I receive any parts, AND they might not even be able to get the glass for it because Century recently changed glass companies and the cap is not new. It sounds like a huge hassle to me, so I'd like to look for new glass elsewhere. Any suggestions on where I could find new glass for this? Would junkyard or pull-a-part be a good place to look, or would they be unlikely to have trucks with caps still on?It's not a Leer, why would I call them?Someone told me that glass companies can't cut curves in glass?? That seems ludicrous since most car windows are curved, but I dunno. All the glass is flat, would it be cheaper to go to a non-automotive glass company?

make cardboard templates for the exact glass size and shape that you need. take them to your local glass repair shop, or even auto glass repair shop. they can order tempered safety glass to fit your patterns, or ask if they can cut laminated glass to fit your patterns. the laminated glass might be a little cheaper than the tempered. if you can't make your own patterns, maybe the glass shop will do it for you, but you'll save some money if you make your own.

Question : How many parts to a radiator?
I need to get my radiator fixed. I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla and the radiator cracked on top around where the cap is. I also noticed that the fan connected to it isn't moving when the engine is running. I was wondering if there are more than one parts to a radiator. I looked at a website to see how much a replacement radiator would cost for my car and it looked like just one part, but I'm not sure if the fan part is separate.

Question : hp pavillion dv6000 replacement part?
I bought my laptop in march, today a picture on my wall fell down and strick my keyboard. The caps lock button has a huge gauge in it and i can't stand it. I read my warranty book and it said that HP has this thing where they send you replacement parts with directons. Does anyone know how that works? Will I have to pay? Will they even reaplace a key or what?
Answer:
They will ship you a new keyboard. It is relatively easy to change. Usually there is a plastic cover plate between the keyboard and screen. This gets removed by getting a fingernail or plastic knife under the edge to release the tabs. Then there may be a couple of screws and a ribbon cable connector. HP will most likely not charge you for it and you may not even have to ship back the old part.
