Stant LEV-R-VENT radiator caps fit in the smaller spaces of today's engines, while providing a pressure release lever and may fit on applications where older, larger-shell caps may not. A tab on the bottom of the lever interlocks with the filler neck to prevent removal of the cap until the lever is lifted. When the lever is lifted, the entire pressure valve is lifted off the lower sealing seat in the filler neck, harmlessly venting pressure through the overflow tube

Great Buy for my Jeep SRT8 Grand Cherokee
I bought this radiator cap in hopes that it would help my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 keep from spraying coolant all over the engine bay. It works like a charm and I haven't had one problem since install.

I upgraded to this Stant Vent Cap with only 200 miles on my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. The Stant cap came heavily recommended by SRT8 enthusiasts and it has not let me down. It also made the installation of my Thermostat go by easier because I was able to burp the system.

Question : Need a U-Haul Replacement Part -- Truck Corner Cap?
Hi there, I have some roof damage for a U-Haul 14' truck. The damage is in the top right corner cap of the trailer. It's an aluminum part and it's broken to pieces -- I'll need to replace it. Where can I get a replacement corner cap, or where can I find someone who can fix it?
Answer:
You might check with a commercial truck parts supplier. I doubt they will have or, if available, can they can get it in a reasonable amount of time? I suggest you hit the phone book or net for local metal fabrication shops. Some have the capability and skills to fix you one up and weld it in for you (yes, you can weld aluminum). Good luck.

Question : hp pavillion dv6000 replacement part?
I bought my laptop in march, today a picture on my wall fell down and strick my keyboard. The caps lock button has a huge gauge in it and i can't stand it. I read my warranty book and it said that HP has this thing where they send you replacement parts with directons. Does anyone know how that works? Will I have to pay? Will they even reaplace a key or what?
Answer:
They will ship you a new keyboard. It is relatively easy to change. Usually there is a plastic cover plate between the keyboard and screen. This gets removed by getting a fingernail or plastic knife under the edge to release the tabs. Then there may be a couple of screws and a ribbon cable connector. HP will most likely not charge you for it and you may not even have to ship back the old part.

Question : Where to find replacement glass for a truck cap/camper top?
I have a Century truck cap that came off of a '94 Mazda B4000 pickup. We bought the pickup after it had been vandalized, and all the cap windows but the front were smashed. Century does not sell parts or anything directly to the public, they only go through their dealers; I called my local dealer and they basically hinted that it would cost a LOT to get the replacement glass for the 4 side windows and rear window, plus I'd have to drag the thing down there so they could look at it and get all the info, and pay them BEFORE I receive any parts, AND they might not even be able to get the glass for it because Century recently changed glass companies and the cap is not new. It sounds like a huge hassle to me, so I'd like to look for new glass elsewhere. Any suggestions on where I could find new glass for this? Would junkyard or pull-a-part be a good place to look, or would they be unlikely to have trucks with caps still on?It's not a Leer, why would I call them?Someone told me that glass companies can't cut curves in glass?? That seems ludicrous since most car windows are curved, but I dunno. All the glass is flat, would it be cheaper to go to a non-automotive glass company?

make cardboard templates for the exact glass size and shape that you need. take them to your local glass repair shop, or even auto glass repair shop. they can order tempered safety glass to fit your patterns, or ask if they can cut laminated glass to fit your patterns. the laminated glass might be a little cheaper than the tempered. if you can't make your own patterns, maybe the glass shop will do it for you, but you'll save some money if you make your own.

Question : Truck cap replacement parts.?
I have an f150 8ft bed and a cap. Its in ok condition (just bought the truck and it came with the cap) the back window/door on the cap is an older model and i want to get a new handle for it but cant find one. Would it be better just to get a new back window or what? not too sure on what to do cause on money

Does it have the manufacturers name on it anywhere. It's usually on the back glass or frame. Get that then you can do a search for the company and order parts.

Question : Need replacement parts for Starbucks Bodum 2004 Barista "thermos" 24oz press?
Bodum makes all the presses for starbucks. Bodum no longer makes replacement parts for the press. i'm just hoping someone out there has the "innards" (the filter and press mechanism). I've tried a number of online place, but no such luck so far. The press is 3.25" diameter and holds 3 cups (.7L or 24oz). it's a plastic 'carafe' inside thermos screw on top and rubber capped bottom.
