Bosch Universal Heated Oxygen Sensors provide the closest match to original equipment manufacturers' sensor performance. Each sensor is manufactured with a two-foot length of sensor wire to allow maximum replacement of worn wire. Available for virtually all makes and models.

Saved me at least 180 dollars

I had the code scanned on my 2003 corolla by autozone. It said I had a bad catalytic converter. My mechanic said it could be the sensor behind the cat. A new catalytic converter was 979 dollars. My mechanic wanted 235 dollars to do the sensor so I took a chance and did it my self. My check engine light was on for 5 months till I changed the sensor. I disconnected the battery to reset the light. I have driven 1100 miles since then with no light. Changing the sensor was a piece of cake. The old sensor came out easily enough with a wrench. Installed the new one and connected the wires. Done in about 4o minutes. The sensor came with a chart to tell you what coor wire to connect to which. No problems.

Great product and easy job

My van is Sienna 2006. The error code was P0158 (bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor). Location of the sensor is at the bottom of engine right under hood lock. The upstream sensor is on the upper front part of the engine, close to the hood lock. Bank 2 sensor 1 downstream sensor is just under the body of passenger seat with connector under the seat. To loose sensors, you need warm up engine for 3 to 5 minutes. When it is clod, it is impossible to remove it. When it is hot, it is very easy. Toyota sensor is type B in Bosch's document. The wiring mapping order is two blacks, one white, and one blue of Toyota sensor for two whites, one gray, and one black of Bosch respectively. Wiring may take a half hour or longer because you want to do it right at the first time. For 15 days and 1400 miles after the repair, no more check engine lights. The problem is fixed. Toyota sensor may be Denson OEM part and costs over $200. The labor costs $100+. It took me one hour and $50+ bucks.

This universal O2 sensor worked perfectly on my 2002 VW Passat. And I saved about 50% over the cost of an OEM replacement.

Worked fine

I replaced the OEM sensor in my 2005 Sentra SER Spec-V with this one after getting a check engine light(I can't remember the error code). A few days after I installed the new sensor the check engine light went out on its own. The spliced wires felt very secure. I installed the sensor about 4 months ago and it is still working fine. Great purchase with quick shipping through Amazon.
EDIT: The check engine light error code was P1148 (closed loop malfunction detected bank 1. Bank 1 is the sensor closest to the engine.) Hope this helps!

Very Pleased

The sensor worked wonderfully and wasn't very hard to put together. I would say that is does require some understanding of what your doing though.
If you think you can handle the assembly, its 100% worth the money you save over buying an OEM sensor

big savings

For me this was the exact fit replacement. Local garages wanted $400.00 for the part and replacement. I bought an additional $4.00 tool and 20 minutes later it was fixed and ready for emmissions test.....

Great - same as dealer except 1/4 the price

Knock on wood - been working in my Lexus RX300 for about 2 months. Look around, but I couldn't find a better price than these guys. It's also a true Denso, not a knock-off. Autozone had the same unit for about 2x the price. Dealer was even more. Shipping is a bit slow, but nothing to get all ruffled about. Maybe 5-6 days or so. Replaced the sensor, reset the lights with a scanner and viola - all lights out and stayed out. I think lights will go out by themselves anyway after 3 cold starts

Lexus RX300 02 Sensor

This is the OEM Air/Fuel Sensor (02 Sensor) for the Lexus RX300. Don't settle for anything less than the orinigal Denso. I paid the extra $5 for shipping and had my sensor in 3 days. In fact a week later I ended up buying the second upstream sensor. Lexus wanted $290; Toyota wanted $209 and I paid $123. Best price I could find anywhere. Highly Recommend

Great deal but ship by UPS!

Worked great and came complete. Don't go for the free US Mail shipping, it took 9 days-- unless you're in no hurry choose UPS.

Denso A/F sensor - worked

Short and Sweet...
Once I found out exactly which part I needed for my 2000 Toyota Sienna, popped the old one out and this guy fit right in. I was back driving without CEL in under 15 minutes. Saved about 60 bucks buying from Amazon.

Can't beat denso

Great price. fits perfectly and working fine for my 03 honda crv even thought it states (This product does not fit your 2003 Honda CR-V). I always check the manufacturer's site for the right part no.

Easy install----seems to work great!

Even though Amazon said this was not applicable to 2003 Honda CR-V, the majority of other sources said that this was the one. Amazon said that it fits the 02 but not the 03 and and all sources said that they are the same. The only difference noted from the orginal was that it had a extra sleve piece for protection of the wire, but don't see that as a problem. Very easy install---I got the Oxygen Sensor Socket set and that made it very easy. Easier than changing the oil. Comes with anti-seize. Engine light is out and car runs perfect.

Use Denso Only!

Installed it, and engine light went out after about 6 miles.
Didn't even have to use my OBD II scanner to reset.

Amazon is the cheapest (cheaper than RockAuto as of 2/25/2010), no tax, no shipping.

Awesome!

Fit my '02 Honda CR-V perfectly

Took 15 minutes to install (much of that was figuring out how to disconnect the old sensor's electrical connector). The only tool needed was an adjustable wrench.

Denso Oxygen Sensor

I bought this for my 2002 Honda CRV LX. Prior to purchase, I used the web to get comments on Denso and Bosch brand O2 sensors. Saw lots of negative comments on Bosch sensors working properly initially, but failing in a short amount of time. Researched prices. Dealer wanted $330. Amazon was $138. Fit perfectly. Big plus is the connector is a perfect fit. No wire splicing required. Did the job in my driveway in about 20 minutes. This sensor fixed my check engine light (had to reset) and boosted gas mileage back to what it used to be. So far, I'm very satisfied.

Oxygen Sensor for Toyota Sequoia

My husband went to Auto Zone to find out why our check engine light came on. They told us it was the oxygen sensor. The guy told us it's easy enough to change ourselves and would save us about $900. My husband, being the tinkerer he is, got on the internet and read up about it, got on you tube and watched some videos - and decided he could do it himself.

The long and short of it, he was able to get the part quickly, change it himself for a savings of $900, and the sensor he ordered even came with a part that he bought from Auto Zone and was able to return.

If you are a person who can fix things yourself, it can be done!

exact factory match 2000 landcruiser

this sensor looked identical to the one i removed except the wires were about two inches longer. denso appears to be the oem maker for toyotas. great price around $62 w/free shipping. i bought two. the picture does not show it but it does have the factory plug on it as well and matches up perfectly.if you have a landcruiser or lexus lx450 this is the o2 sensor you want before the catylitic converter(it may fit others also). i have not had to replace the after cat sensors yet but i think they are a different part number.

The Raytek MT4 Mini Temp Non-Contact Thermometer Gun with Laser Sighting is the perfect compact tool to supplement any household. This item can be used for an infinite number of applications. Perfect for the garage or even the kitchen.

Customer Review :

Great IR Thermometer w/Laser Aiming! Recommended

The Raytek MT4 Mini Temp Non-Contact Thermometer Gun with Laser Sighting is the handiest infrared thermometer we have found. After trying several other brands over the past few years, we have found the Raytek to provide results closest to insertion thermometers. We primarily use three of these in our candle making business, but also have two for around the house and in the kitchen (including a Mini Temp Non Contact Thermometer Gun (RAYMT2)). Here are my observations:

* Easy to use and aim with laser targeting (literally point and click)
* Solid design takes a good bit abuse
* Very accurate but takes surface temperature, so liquids should be stirred before reading

Highly recommended!

Not much shelf life

I bought one brand new in 2000. I have used it very sparingly, it is safely stored almost by itself in a drawer of my tool chest, not bounced around at all, and always with the battery removed. Nine years later (!) I went to use it and it doesn't work. Raytek says they have seem the symptoms often, the unit needs recalibration or repair. They will repair it by replacement and even cover the shipping for $65.00 total. Well, I am disappointed that it doesn't work after the excellant care I have afforded this very handy tool. I will buy another from any of the less expensive sources available. (And hope it lasts a good long time with the same care, but it IS 'made in china' !)

Great - Saved my house!!!

We borrowed one of these from a friend and used it to determine some cooling issues with my car. So I got my husband one for Christmas and kept it handy. We had a chimney fire and I used it to monitor the temperature of the woodstove pipe to determine if I needed to call the fire dept. or if it was just going to burn itself out. Well, by the temperature readings it gave me I determined to call them and they actually used the tool in my house. We would have lost the house if I hadn't called them. So 5 Stars on this item!!!

Love it!

We use it for checking room, equipment motor, and cooking temperatures. It's quick, easy and accurate. A friend of mine is a building manager and he has had one for a couple of years and relies on it daily.

Questions & Answers
Question : Am I reading this law right?
According to the law "No person shall disconnect, modify or alter any part of that system inany manner which will amplify or increase the vehicle's noise emission abovethe noise limits established in subsection (3) of this section, excepttemporarily in order to make repairs, replacements or adjustments."(3)"Any vehicle subject to the provisions of this section shall at alltimes be equipped with a noise suppressing system or other device which limitsnoise emission to a base level of not more than ninety-six (96) decibels"Well my transmission was going out the car was running really loud and all of a sudden it broke and the car roared. We were trying to fix it, but the cops were called on us and they told us we had to have a stock exhaust on any car we drive. I pulled this from my states law book and it sounds that if you are repairing your car it is fine to exceed 96 and that you can have an aftermarket exhaust if it isn't higher then 96. Am I reading this right? Also, the people who called the cops said we were speeding and doing burnouts, which we were not. They are the HOA of the neighborhood so what should I do about that?

Question : Can oil be cleaned out of an exhaust if the Turbo Charger has been dumping it straight in there ?
Our Peugeot 807 MPV broke down and was towed to this garage - a garage we did not know in Southampton. They have now had it since October !! The MOT has expired in the meantime and the road tax. They sent off for 4 Turbo Charger's but first 2 were dud's - they say they have to send off our one to get a replacement - WHY ? So of course each attempt to get one takes days/week at a time. The 3rd one had different mountings and had to be returned to get our original sent back - but how can we be sure it WAS ours anyway that we were getting back ? The 4th was fitted - alas the on board computer had now shut off - thinking, I'm told that it had been in an accident - so off it went to the Peugeot Dealer - they were very nice and I asked if they could do the MOT at same time - it failed due to CO2 emissions from exhaust. I asked if they could sort it out and I would deal directly with them but they said no because it was a job from another garage - all rather odd. A lad tried to drive it back on saturday but had to call out for a low loader as he said he flooded the whole 2 ways of the road with thick white smoke !!! This is what was happening when it was towed in - so we seem no further forward. HELP The garage now says it needs a complete new exhaust system so I won't get much change out of £1000 !! on top of the £400 we have already paid. I am at my wits end with this garage. When I said I didn't need a genuine Peugeot part could they get a Bosal or any generic parts he said he would no longer speak to me as it was actually my husbands car - well it is only in his name but only because I'm a blue badge holder and I can no longer drive - how rude is this ? I was not impolite in anyway yet most would be ranting fo just the sheer length of time it has taken. But I feel we should now be due some closure on this - they had it for 4 months. I suggested they remove the exhuast and hang it for a few days to drain out the oil - well this seems like it was a red rag to a bull. I only asked if they could shove some thinners down it or solvent anything ot breakdown the oil. My word it was practically blue corner and red corner talk !! My husband is not a strong man (and I don't mean that in any belittling way but there are times when I need him to step up to the plate and he is ill equipped to do it - a very gentle type) HELP - are there any honest decent mechanics out there that can shed some light on this or have we been taken for right mugs ? It cannot be driven away in current state so what choice do I have - and they know it. We feel completely stripped of any power over this vehicle - yet we are the customers.
