Includes 8-oz bottle of oil and 12-oz bottle of filter cleaner * Cleans your air filter in minutes * For use every 50,000 miles *
Customer Review :
good stuff
not too much of work as others put it. A Must have if you use their filter. One thing the instruction said at the end that both clean and dirty sides show red evenly. I dont think you would get red to show up evenly on the clean side while you only apply oil to the dirty side, unless you risk over-oil it. With the amount of recommended oil, probably can only get 20% of clean side to show up red.

quality filter and cleaner does it job
pro: cleans like it should and k and n filters are worth it cons: it a pain to clean the filter every 50,000 miles :p

got to have it for K&N filters
I've had this kit before. The most difficult part of using it, is recoating the filter with oil, using squeeze bottle. I plan on trying to use a small atomizer spray bottle to apply it, when the time comes. You're trying to apply a light coat to the entire filter evenly. Maybe it could even be brushed on from a small disposable container.

K&N Cleaning Kit
Buying this kit on Amazon.com was about half what it would have cost me at the dealership that installed my system.

Fast shipping decent price
Haven't used this product but it came fairly fast and seems exactly what I ordered. I'd buy from this retailer again.

Editorial Review :
Outside air flowing through the vehicle's ventilation system can expose passengers to road dust and pollen. FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters can filter 98% of these contaminants (particles ranging from 5-100 microns). Each FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter contains Arm & Hammer backing soda and carbon which are embedded into the filter to absorb odors and freshen the air.
Customer Review :
could feel it working on first use
I was not feeling fresh air inside my car despite the recent filter change...I don't know which cheap one was installed from the workshop. I replaced this myself (was super easy) and I could smell and feel the fresh air the first time I went out for a drive with this. Works great!

Fram Cabin Filter
The filter fit perfectly in my Honda. I found this filter to be no better or worse or cheaper then the one I buy from Honda direct.
Rating :
Best Cabin Air Filter. Superior to original filter
Fram makes one of the best cabin air filters, they are made with heavy duty filter paper and it is the only cabin filter that uses the natural deodorizing using ARM & HAMMER baking soda as well as active charcoal to absorb odors outside air flowing through the vehicle's ventilations system, in my car I had a musky odor every time I turned on the heater or air-condition or simply outside air, using this filter the odor is gone. I use to pay dealer $70 to replace it with a new filter, however dealer installed filter does not have backing soda or active charcoal so it didn't eliminate the odors, it takes less than 5 minutes to replace it, it comes with a specific instruction for your vehicle, I only paid $15 for each filter, I bought 3 for my other vehicle and the shipping was free thanks to Amazon.com also I received it in less than 7 days, Thanks Amazon.com (total saving for three cars: if dealer did it would have been $210 plus shop fee for about $225 and would have been waiting for 2 hours, I paid for three cars/3 filter from Amazon.com $45 so I saved $180 and eliminated the musky odor.

carbon bits falling everywhere
First of all, the install was a breeze. It was done in less than 3 minutes. Had the fit been more snug, one minute is all it will take. The part arrived no problem. No problem opening it. The carbon filter bits somehow don't seem to be well inserted between the paper filters. The air-flow label is difficult to see (very light print on) and it's not printed on the same side as the OEM ones. The OEM ones have the air flow label clearly facing you as you pull out the filter tray/drawer. But this one came with the label to the side, so it was confusing if I should use that as an indicator and turn the filter 90% with the label facing me and install it. But when I do that, it clearly does not fit in to the tray. Also, the leaflet folding part in the filter didn't fit quite well when trying to insert into the tray. You almost have to force it and pull from the other side while trying to make sure no part is blocked by the tray (there's a little thing in the tray that's in the way of the filter). It's not designed at 100% fit in my opinion, but I'd say it's a 98% fit quality.
As for filtering power, I noticed the air is cleaner in the cabin. The odor filter function is noticeably there, but when the car in front of you has a smog issue, you still need to shut the vent to recycle inside air only. For the price, I would buy it and easily install it on an annual basis. The dealer would charge you at least $30 to 50 and some even $120 to install a filter like this. Save money, DIY!!!
Rating :
It Work, no different than Factory Brand
I purchase the Air Filter for my Honda Accord and TSX, they are the same filter for both cars. Great Price, alot cheaper than the Dealer or Jiffey Lube ($30).

Editorial Review :
PureONE is the cheapest insurance available for your car today. Does it make sense to spend hundreds, or thousands, of dollars on automobile insurance each year, and then turn around and save a buck or two by purchasing an oil filter with less quality? PureONE features exclusive Micronic Filtration media that traps even the smallest particles of dirt and grime before they get to your engine - particles too small for conventional filters to catch. Which is why PureONE is the top ranked filter in SAE tests at keeping your oil pure - and why no other filter provides better protection for your engine.
Customer Review :
Great for Triumph Speed Triple
I grabbed this at a local AutoZone (ordered backups just now from Amazon, but needed the job done, today). The extra length + textured grip will make my next change that much easier as I'll just reach up and twist it out and my wrenches won't get covered in spent oil. Clearance is not an issue on most bikes as the difference in length from stock is negligible, but *just* enough to grab without fiddling with a filter wrench. Your pipes or belly pan/fairing hang significantly lower than this filter will. Removing the filter by hand will also mean an overall less messy oil change.
Add to that the myriad of great reviews, this price, and Amazon reliability...it's a no-brainer. It's not so much that dealer filters are a rip-off (though they are); it's that this is just a superior filter to most paper-media stock options. Plus, you save a trip to the dealer.
CHANGE YOUR CRUSH WASHERS EVERY TIME, lol. Not sure why some of you folks still skip that after having gone through the mess of changing your own fluids.
Rating :
Good Filter
I cut open filters that fit the same car from Fram (Tough Guard)' Mobil 1, and this Pure 1 filter. You cannot tell what size particles are captured by the media this way (Mobil 1 and Pure 1 claim synthetic media), but you can count pleets. The Pure 1 had nearly twice as many, and the bypass and general construction seems to be better also. And the Pure 1 costs about half of what the Mobil 1 filter costs.

NOT FOR MOTORCYCLES
The people who have done "extensive research" should take a look at the Purolator site ! These are HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED for motorcycles. they have black motorcycle filters at just as great a value and they wont harm your motorcycle oil pump like the purolator gold will. (Great filter for autos) Try these instead !! Purolator ML16817 Black Motorcycle Oil Filter (Pack of 2) or Purolator ML16818 Black Motorcycle Oil Filter (Pack of 2) by Purolator

Editorial Review :
K&N Recharger kit contains K&N air filter cleaner and air filter oil. It is a six-step maintenance system designed to recharge any K&N FilterCharger air filter. Air filter oil is used to treat foam air filter elements to increase their filtering capacity. Red filter oil helps to extend engine life and prevents dirt from entering your engine. Air filter oil boosts the performance of cars and trucks. K&N air filter cleaner is the only cleaner formulated to clean K&N FilterCharger elements. K&N air filter cleaner works to dissolve the dirt build up and old filter oil, and can be washed away with water. It is biodegradable and safe on paint, chrome, cast aluminum, plastic, rubber and vinyl when used as directed. Complete instruction is included with this kit.
Customer Review :
Great kit
I've been using it for years on auto filters as well as my motorcycle which has an OEM non-disposable filter. It takes very little spray and will last forever. The cleaning process is simple and only takes a few minutes. The kit costs less than most replacements so it should be an easy decision for any reusable filter, even if it's not a K&N.

K&N filter care service kit
Not bad; product looks to perform as promised (just completed a long road trip for Thanksgiving....no breakdowns yet).
One thing to note....wear good eye protection (you might want to consider safety goggles, not just safety glasses) when using that aerosol mist (the oil, too, probably, but I didn't notice the problem so much with the oil). I was soaking my filter outside on a breezy day, spraying the aerosol onto the filter. The mist (and I'm not talking about much more than a few mist-drops) from this stuff got in my eyes. NOT COOL. This is why the product doesn't get five stars; they tell you about the eye hazard, but I don't think they do enough to highlight it in light of how much it burns to get so little into your eyes. I'd recommend nitrile safety gloves too.

Editorial Review :
Originally developed for demanding auto race applications, our premium oil filter is rapidly becoming a favorite among consumers for its durability and easy removal. We've changed oil filters and several of our product development technicians are sportsman class drag racers. They insisted we offer an oil filter that corrected the headaches they experienced over the years changing oil filters. We have all been there: Whether it's remembering where that disappearing canister tool is; or having oil leak all over your garage and yourself; or finally giving up and pounding a screwdriver through the filter just to get if off. Each of our automotive and marine oil filters comes with a 1 nut welded to the top of the canister so they can be easily wrenched-off with a standard tool. Our motorcycle and ATV oil filters come with a 17 mm nut. Our oil filters use resin impregnated cellulose filter media. This allows for higher flow rates while providing outstanding filtration. High filter flow rates are important in racing vehicles where heavier grade oil is used and the oil is pumped much faster than in a standard vehicle. When the engine is circulating oil at high GPM rates, the high-flow oil filter helps reduce the loss of pressure through the filtering process. To satisfy the demands of racers, our oil filter has many features over and above the requirements of most vehicles. We use thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris. The heavy-duty construction will withstand higher oil pressures found only in racing environments without bursting. The drilled hole on the nut is for a safety wire attachment. Required for many types of racing, the safety wire prevents blown oil filters from falling on the track and representing a hazard to other race vehicles. This extra engineering offers peace of mind for consumers who want only the best.

K&N
I've always been a fan of K&N products ever since I put a cool air intake on a 01 Dodge Ram 1500. I really couldn't get the gas mileage up but the proclaimed extra hoarse power was definitely there. I bought my wife a 05 jeep wrangler with a 4.0 liter and every time the oil gets changed the oil is cleaner. And I also put a drop air filter in it as well. And yes more hoarse power. So I recommend using K&N products for what ever car/truck you have. They are more expensive but so are vehicles.

great filter for the money
I purchase this oil filter for infiniti M45 and infiniti G35 and have used them on the civic Si, Rx-8, and nissan 95 240sx with a sr20det s14 VTC type. I keep them around because they work on a plethora of engines: honda K20/24 & J30 V6, Rx-8's rotary, Nissan S14 SR20det, VQ35/37/40, VK45, VR38DETT, mitsubishi 4b11 (evo X) and 4g63(evo 8/9/ eclipse) and many more.
The nut is a life saver in tight spaces, and especially on the new 2006+ civics Si which have a very tight and confined installation space. As for filtering i've taken an old one apart and noted the filter media is very high quality i'd say as good or maybe better than most oem filters.
I recommend it, it's a good filter just to keep around/ have since it works on just about anything my friends have.

What can I say about an oil filter? I do like what other websites say in praise and I like the hexhead screw-on device, which is really handy on our Honda Civic's filter location.

K&N filters.
I had always used Fram oil filters until a local shop showed me what was inside- cardboard. Now I will only buy K&N or Wix. I value my vehicles.

Perfect
I haven't dissected the filter so I can't speak to the internal workings but this seems like a good quality filter. I usually used the Mobil 1 M1-110 but this one is far and away better just because of the standard wrench removal. Any 1 inch open or closed ended wrench will work. I actually had to remove the skid plate from my Frontier to get the 110 off because I couldn't find a wrench that fit the tiny little filter. Flow rate seems good, I'd stick with this one.

Questions & Answers
Question : Eclipse Aquarium replacement part?
So I've had this tank for close to 12 yrs and no longer remember what model I have. It's a 25 or 30 gallon if I remember correctly and just the impeller blade snapped. How I'm not sure but it's apparent now that the magnet shakes and causes noise in the chamber. I've tried getting it realigned and figure buy a new one. Problem there are too many models and I have no clue which one to buy. Any ideas how I can tell which model I need? Any way to know which model I have. it's been so long I have no idea:( Where's the best place online to buy replacement parts for tanks and filters replacements?
Answer:
The impeller is the one moving part on that filter, so it eventually wears out. If yours lasted 12 years of continuous use, that's exceptional. You can order the part directly from Marineland (the manufacturer), or from several mail-order firms. Some pet stores also carry replacement impellers for Eclipse filters. However, for any of these, you will need to know what model you have. Try measuing the top assembly that contains the filter and light. Different Eclipse models have different size tops. The name of the model should also be written somewhere on it, if you examine it closely.Three places I've been able to order parts from online are Drs. Foster and Smith, Pet Solutions, and Big Al's Online.

Question : What can i use for a replacement of the tube part in a fish tank filter?
i bought a used fish tank with a built in filter.i can see how the filter works but the part that sucks in the water is missing. i can see where it is soposed to fit but its just not there and its not in the box. what can i use for a replacement?
Answer:
The tank is probably set up for an under gravel filter, but if you have a carbon filter (anything with a pad or cartridge) then you don't need to worry about it. If it just has a powerhead, then I'm sure you can find the tubing at a fish store.

Question : What replacement parts should I get?
I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3 liter EL.What are good replacement part brands for the:1. Air filter2. Oil filler cap3. Suspension units (front and rear)The suspension units are the most important since it wasn't replaced since the car was purchased. I don't want anything expensive just as long as it will last long.I did not lose my oil cap.. i need a replacement to ensure a tight seal. and the suspension themselves is what i need to replace...
Answer:
Which suspension parts? Some can be repaired with new bushings and ball joints. If any are bent rusted or broken they need replacing. Are you talking about struts and shocks? Did you lose your oil cap? If you did you'll need another before you drive the car. Crankcase oil will blow out the oil fill hole. You will need an air filter is yours is dirty.

Question : i have a miele 863 SCVI dishwasher, and the plastic parts are brittle and crumbly. why is it doing that?
we suspect is the eco-dishwasher detergent we use or the fact that our water inlet is connected to the hot water line....where can we find replacement parts ?(filter, non-return valve, and intake pipe) how can we prevent this from happening?
Answer:
Its unlikely to be the detergent as it doesnt run through the inlet pipe or the non return valve and if the machine was connected to the cold it would still have to heat it up to around boiling point so that doesnt sound too likely either. How old is the machine as some plastics deteriorate with age and hoses dont last forever. Is the hose captive to the appliance or is it screwed onto the back like most washing machines, if its screwed then replace with a washing machine hose, the plastic ones are usually better than rubber as they do last longer. As for other parts and a captive hose there must be a service agent around for Miele.
