Volvo driver side window regulator
The product arrived well packaged. You'll need to remember, they item doesn't come with two little plastic pieces that are needed to repair your broken window. Anyway, the window regulator worked great, no problems at all.

Customer Review :
00 Jetta window fixed!
The product itself was great, but I gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with directions. Luckily there is a guy from Germantown Maryland, who posted a DIY web pictorial. Excellent work and he should be rewarded. Took me and a buddy about 4 hours to install, but if it ever happens again to a different window would take less than 2 hours now that I fully understand where everything connects and potential issues. I would definitely buy from this company again.

Question : My windscreen washer motors have stopped working back and front of car ?
I have a peugeot 106 and just recently i tried to use my windscreen wipers which work fine but im getting no screen wash through at the front window or the tailgate window, you can usually hear the motor or pump for the screenwash working when trying to use it but now now, cant hear anything at all, its weird that both front and back have went at same time, is this probably a blow fuse ? if so what fuse do i check?where is the fuse tho ? i looked behind the glove compartment and there are lots of fuses

Question : 1994 Ford Bronco tailgate window not working!?
I have a 1994 Ford bronco w/ power windows and locks. All of my locks and windows work fine EXCEPT that rear tailgate window. I want to know what is the most likely cause(s) of this and what I should expect to pay to fix it. I called a Ford Dealership for a quote on a new motor ( I am not sure thats the problem, was going to try) and they said it comes in one complete set and it was like $340. Seemed steep to me.
Answer:
$340 is a decent price for that. There are a number of possible causes. 1. Wiring - no power to tailgate.2. Switches - defective dash or external window switch, or the internal safety switches that prevent the window from working when the tailgate is down or from opening too far.3. Mechanical - faulty window motor or broken track inside the tailgate. They are a bugger to work on.

Question : How much is this truck worth?
I am lookin to buy an 1983 Chevy C-10 pickup. Its 2wd, lowered 2 inches, got a mildly built 350, got a number of dents and dings, some rust, and tailgate wont open. For mechanical, it runs good, has 180,000 miles (I think) the motor was completly rebuilt 30,000 miles ago. The tranny is good, and has new brakes all around. For interior, the seats are good, has CD player that doesnt work, windows do not open, hazards dont work, the headlights wouldnt turn on, just parkin lights. She said they usually do. She doesnt know a lot about the truck cause she bought it a short while ago and now doesnt drive it a lot and just wants it gone. She is askin $1200 but its not firm. I have been told by a car salesmen I should offer her $500. I think more like $800. The truck is road worthy, but its rough. So what do ya think? It will be a project truck! I am plannin on fixing it up and making it into a hot rod/muscle truck. I am lookin for a porject, thats why I want it.
Answer:
800 sounds reasonable. 1200 is def. too high. why do u want a truck like that? I'm hopin u got plans for a project truck!

Question : How to I supply power to the windows and doorlocks of an 85 Blazer K5 with no motor?
I have a 1985 K5 Chevy Blazer that I'm installing a motor in. The Blazer has all power windows/doorlocks and a power tailgate. I cannot open the tailgate without providing power to it. The transmission and transfer case are in the tailgate lol...I tried just hooking up a battery, and when that didn't work I looked and the positive (red) cable was going nowhere. How do I get accessory power before I put in a motor/alternator?It does have Electronic Fuel Injection (even though it wasn't a factory option in 85) it has been outfitted for it since. Thanks Kev
Answer:
you have to provide power to the field wire at starter (smaller cable) to get power to switch.

Question : How can I get the glass window of my tailgate to shut on my 97 2d blazer. It won't latch.?
I opened yesterday, put my laundry in and went to shut it, and it won't latch.... But there is power cause I can unlock it and hear the motor working.
Answer:
The problem is a rusted latch assembly, a common problem on that Blazer tailgate window latch. But you are more fortunate than most because yours is open and won't latch, while most who experience that rusty latch problem will have a tailgate window that is closed and won't unlatch. The latch gets stiff and sticks because a gap in the weather seal above the latch leaks and water which drips into the latch assembly will cause it to rust. The quick fix, since your window is already open, is to saturate the latch with WD-40 by using the straw which comes with the WD-40 aerosol can. Wedge the straw into the latch assembly and spray a generous amount of WD-40 into the latch mechanism. That will free the mechanism movement. But that is just a quick fix and is only a temporary fix. The problem will soon reoccur after the WD-40 dries and the latch continues to rust. And the next time the latch sticks it might be when the tailgate window is latched and won't unlatch. The semi-permanent fix, the fix which will last several years, is to remove the tailgate panel and remove the latch so that you can remove the rust and saturate it with a light weight rust preventing lubricant, a light weight rust preventing lubricant like 3-In-One oil. Apply a generous amount of naval jelly to the rusted latch and allow it to soak for about 10 minutes and then rinse it with water. Repeat if any rust remains. Then allow the latch assembly to thoroughly dry or dry it with a hair drier before saturating it with something like 3-In-One oil and reinstalling it.To make that fix a little more permanent then is to try to keep water out of the latch assembly by applying RTV silicone adhesive sealant to the tailgate window weather seal joint gap above the latch. But be very careful to let silicone sealant fully cure before closing the window or it will vulcanize the window shut. The RTV silicone sealant will be dry to touch in about 1 hour but it takes about 24 hours for it to fully cure.

Question : window problem 10 points for best answer?
i need to the rear power window in my 88 bronco (full size) , this is my problem the tailgate switch on the dash doesn't work or the key switch but i have power to the motor cus i can roll it up and down by connecting just the motor wires to the power wires example- when i connect the postive wires together and the negatives together and the window gos up and i reverse them the window gos down... so i was wondering what i should do if you can help with anything like websites for parts and wireing digrams pic besides haynes books because i have one for my truck and its not in there but everything else is lol thanks for looking
Answer:
Sounds like your smart enough to check that the motor is OK,so now check for power from the switch,if any of the wires from the switch have power, the problem is the switch,it is not switching from ground to power and visa-versa.The switches by the way are connected in series so if one switch is not working neither will the other, just like xmas lights.Try a new switch first before changing anything else.

Question : Electric window power?
does anyone know how much power you get out of a power window motor from like the tailgate window on a truck? I'm supplying 18volts and about 2amps. What's your estimate to how much it could lift (vert)? Oh and for lifting... it's at least 100lbs.
Answer:
It's probably a 12vdc motor, but anyway, I don't thank it will lift more than 10 lbs..

Question : how can I lower the electric rear window of my 89 full size Blazer when the automatic system fails?
The key switch at the tailgate has not worked since I have owned the Blazer. The interior switch has finally stopped working. The motor for the window bumps but the glass does not move. I have tried to remove the top around the glass, but there seems to be something besides the removable screws that hold the top to the tailgate.
Answer:
It sounds like the spindle that the motor is attached to is stripped. Like a socket that fits over an Allen Wrench. Or, a stripped gear. There is usually an access panel on the inside of the door and this will give you access to the motor and some of the guts. If you can get this far with it you might be able to diagnose it by taking the electric motor out and finding out why it can't crank the window down. If it's too buggered up then you might have to take it to a body shop or and have them replace some internal part(s).No easy fix like installing a hand crank since these are not designed to take an alternate part. Good Luck!
