Editorial Review :
The Gabriel Ultra Cartridge is precision-engineered for safety and performance, and it comes equipped with G-Force technology for quicker response, improved product life, and consistent, reliable ride and control.StableSteer valving provides response from all four corners, and the G-Force piston is bonded iron construction for durability and longer life.By providing a positive seal between the piston and working cylinder, the nitrile leak-proof o-ring piston seal eliminates oil bypass. The orifice disk with variable nine-stage valving provides consistent oil flow while the heavy duty compression head valve withstands extreme impact, greatly reducing internal component failure.Preventing oil blow-by between piston rod and piston, improving operational consistency, is the nitrile rod guide o-ring.Internal nitrogen gas pressure optimizes the relationship between product component and gas pressure, reducing fade and improving vehicle control.

Questions & Answers
Question : What's the cheapest route to get ink cartridges for my printer?
I love printing photos, but it eats up the ink. I always just save up and buy the new cartridges. But, is there anywhere to go and get the cartridges refilled? For a cheaper price?
Answer:
Here is an option. They say savings up to 75% and free shipping. You did not tell us what printer you have, or i would have looked it up, but they have most brands and models.

Question : What is a good way to store ink cartridges?
I don't use my inkjet printer very often. It usually is several months between printings and the cartridges seem to dry out. I have pulled them out and used a warm wet paper towel to get them going again, but that really doesn't work very well. I have had this problem with more than one printer so I don't think it's a problem with the printer, I think it's the improper storage of the cartridges. I'm thinking that taking them out and storing them outside of the printer might be better. Do you have any ideas on how to seal them for storage without messing up the nozzles?
Answer:
Hi Thinkerbelle1, ink jet cartridges are water-based, a good solution is to remove them from the printer, seal in cellophane and then store them in the BOTTOM of your fridge. Make sure your fridge won't freeze them into ice-blocks ! Just keep them chilled (no evaporation), and put them back in your printer when ready to use again. Also give the cartridges time to warm to room temperature before use. Hope this helps, Eamonn.

Question : How long do Canon Ink Cartridges usually try after being used on a printer?
I meant the ink cartridges are already installed in the printer. So how long will it dry up naturally?
Answer:
It depend on where you keep the printer. If it's stored somewhere with heat then it will dry up quicker. There is no answer to this one as it's impossible to say.The best thing to do is remove the ink and place some electrical tape over the outlet hole of the cartridge. Then store them, upright, in sealed plastic bags as this will seal in moisture.

Question : What cartridges can be home refilled and work in the printer?
I have a Lexmark X2500 and the ink is empty on both cartridges. I filled them with ink and put them back in the printer. It did not work, so I googled and found out that lexmark cartridges have some sort of fuse/smart chip that prevents your home refilled cartridges work. Is there any printers that don't have a fuse/smart chip that prevents home refilled cartridges from working. I want to be able to refill them myself and use them.
Answer:
This may help youYou may need to reset the cartridge1- Remove all ink cartridges from the printer, both black and color, new or refilled.2- Turn the printer off by pressing the Power button. Let the printer stay off for 20 seconds.3- Turn the printer back on. Allow the printer to go through the usual start-up process and recognize there are no cartridges installed.4- Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the printer has been turned on and off five times. This process resets and removes the last five ink cartridge IDs used from the printer's memory, allowing the printer to believe the refilled ink cartridge is new.5 Replace the ink cartridges and attempt to print.

Question : How much will Cartridge World give me for my cartridges?
I have some old cartridges and I saw a sign outside of the Cartridge World store that said they buy them. I can use some extra money(struggling full time student). How much will they give you for one.
Answer:
$1 a piece if they are the ones they want .Generally you get less for generic ones that you can buy for $4.95 from re-ink companies. But if they are empty originals from HP or Canon they are worth more.

Question : What is the best place to buy inkjet cartridges?
Does anyone know of a good website store to buy inkjet cartridges?A place that is reliable and inexpensive?I was using LD Products and they were great for a while---but lately, their products suck. The cartridges don't work right and customer service has not been helpful. I wouldn't recommend them.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Answer:
You can try circuit city, best buy, or walmart. Try walmart first because nobody can bet their prices and if they don't have the cartridge you need, I would try the other stores. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Question : What is the purpose of the sticky pull tab on ink cartridges?
My father had bought 2 new black ink cartridges for our printer as it has recently run out. Not knowing he had already put a new one in, I opened the second package and then noticed it had already been replaced.I've noticed that ink cartridges come with little sticky tabs that you have to pull off before putting them into the printer... What is the purpose of these tabs? Because I removed the tab on the second one already... I stuck the tab back on as best I could, but will this affect the ink in this cartridge?
Answer:
The sticky tab is to keep the cartridge sealed air tight so that the ink in the nozzles does not dry out - blocking the nozzles.Suggest you wrap the whole thing up in plastic cling film and then put it in a plastic bag then put it somewhere cool until you need it.If you find it has in fact blocked up when you come to use it just stand it in a saucer of water so that the nozzles are immersed. Leave it there for an hour to get the ink to soften, wipe it with a tissue to make sure there is ink coming out and then install it.

Question : What exactly happens to laser printer toner cartridges when left in the cold?
I accidentally left my brand new printer with the cartridges in the trunk of my car out in the cold. remembering it after a few hours i quickly brought it in. Did I damage my cartridges badly? and how does the cold damage the cartridges?
Answer:
You've nothing to worry about. If they're still in the sealed packages, then no harm was done at all, just wait a few hours for them to warm up to room temperature so they don't get any condensation moisture on or in them when you open them. If they weren't in sealed packaging, once they warm up for a few hours and any condensation moisture is evaporated, they'll work like nothing happened too. I do it all the time with toner cartridges I carry around for troubleshooting or just transporting from one site to another.Just give everything time to warm up before you start unpacking and running and you'll be fine.Best of luck & enjoy your new printer.

Question : What are the popular toner cartridges in Canadian market?
I am in ink cartridge retail business and I am planning to stock some toner cartridge in the store for retail. With limited budget, I can only stock the toner cartridges in better demand on the market. Would you please advice me the popular toner cartridge models in Canadian market? Or where I can find this information? Thank you.
Answer:
HP Q2612AHP Q6000/1/2/3Samsung ML-2010Brother TN350What is in demand on the market will depend upon where you are. THe only real way to figure this out is to look at your own sales figuresYou will sell Q2612A's and TN350 no matter where you are, however as for the others it really depends upon where you are.If you have a reliable supplier, and can offer great prices introduce the program as by order only as long as you are able to deliver in the span of about 2 business days you should be able to get a very good idea as to what you should be inventorying.

Question : How often do I need to change the filter cartridges?
I have a 29 gallon freshwater tank with 6 green tiger barbs, 2 platyes and 1 dwarf gourami. My filter is a biowheel for a tank up to 50 gallons. I have a couple questions. 1)How often do I need to change the cartridges? 2) There is a slot to put in an extra cartridge so you can use two at once. Is this really necessary? Will I have to change the cartridges if I do this? Will my water really be cleaner if I use two?
Answer:
Your 29 gal. tank carries a low bioload (you haven't crowded it with a lot of fish) so you won't need a double-filter media (one should be sufficient). Change the filter media (the fluffy bag usually with carbon bits inside) when it starts to look cloggy and dirty (this will depend on how badly the particle mass may get in your tank). I generally like to change the carbon (and if the bag is sealed, you'll probably have to do the whole bag) at least once a month to keep the carbon fresh and working. The carbon deodorizes (removes the smell) the water but if the carbon becomes old and overwhelmed, it stops working. The filter media basically just removes the particals, not the ammonia and nitrite and nitrates. You should not have to clean or change your biowheel ever unless you forget to remove it if you ever have to medicate the tank--the biowheel will be one of your major sources of good bacteria (if the wheel should start looking slimey and clogged, just rinse it quickly under clean running (not hot, not real cold) water to remove the clog). 2 cartridges will only do more particle removal (and since your tank should not be making too much dirt, 2 would be overkill). 1 cartridge ought to keep your water looking clean and clear, but you'll still need to do routine gravel cleanings and water changes to keep the ammonia/nitrite level at zero (a filter does not do that).
