Questions & Answers
Question : Drag-and-drop links suddenly missing at top of Firefox browser window?
I had links to several pages that I'd used Firefox's drag-and-drop feature to create shortcuts to at the top of my browser window, below the address bar, and suddenly the links aren't there any more. I'm sure the links were there last night, although my computer has been rebooted since then. Any ideas what might have happened and how to fix it?BoMTrue, the toolbar is there, but the links are missing.
Answer:
In Firefox:View > Toolbars > Bookmarks ToolbarTry this. You'll need to make sure you can view Hidden Files & Folders.C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.defaultIn there, there's a bookmarks.html file. Open it and see if that's all your bookmarks. If it is, you just need to import them.

Question : 4matic center/drag link?
I have been looking on ebay for a center/drag link, for a 1991 Mercedes. What I need is for a 300te 4matic. Ive found some that fit all of the specifications except for 4matic. I understand what 4matic means(a form of four wheel drive) I was wondering if there was a difference with the center/drag links, and if so what it was. Thanks.
Answer:
It's shaped differently to fit around the front end 4Matic components. You cannot use the rear wheel drive version on 4Matic.

Question : In IE7, How do I position the Links toolbar across the top?
I have this setup where my links toolbar is not just an icon you click and view the links on the right side of the toolbar area. I can't duplicate how I did this for others. How did I get it moved over to the left so I can drag a website onto the links toolbar the way Mozilla displays it?
Answer:
Right click next to the tabs and in the menu that pops up click "Links" and on my IE7 it displays the links across the top just like firefox does with their bookmark toolbar.

Question : What does DRAG in physics mean? can anyone give me an explanation please? and how it links to air resistance?
I am trying to understand what DRAG in physics mean with the velocity and all. I would really like it if you can give me a good explanation and link it to velocity of falling and air resistance. thanks
Answer:
Drag and air resistance are synonyms when the background fluid is air. The term drag is a general term applicable to any fluid type. For turbulent conditions of flow (fast in a fluid of low viscosity, such as air or water), Newtonian drag occurs. The force of Newtonian drag is given by:F_drag = 1/2*C_d * rho * A * v^2where rho is the fluid density, A is the effective cross sectional area, v is the velocity of the object relative to the fluid, and C_d is an experimentally determined constant dependent on the shape of the object. For laminar conditions of fluid flow (slow in a low viscosity, such as oil), Stokes drag occurs. In this case, the drag force is proportional to velocity itself.F_drag = -b*vwhere b is a viscous coefficient, dependent on size, shape, and fluid viscosity.Stokes drag enables us to realize the theoretical linear vibration systems, which fit easy to solvable differential equations. An under-damped vibrating mass subjected to Stokes drag will fit an ideal model of exponential damping enveloping sinusoidal oscillation. Critical damping and over damping are also of interest in design of mechanical control systems. The best link I can give you is the following wiki page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag_(physics)

Question : can worn drag links on a 4x4 Toyota pickup cause wandering in the steering, or does it need an alignment?
My old '85 Toyota has begun wandering on the pavement. I haven't abused it, its got stock springs, shocks, new tires, ,power steering pump , steering box is tight and tires are aired up to the suggested 50 psi.
Answer:
Yes, the 80-85 Toyota 4x4 have some issues with wandering after 20 years of trouble free service. Marlin Crawler makes a cross over high steer kit, but you will have to change the original steering box over to the 86-95 4x4 steering box, and that requires some welding. here is the link. www.marlincrawler.comIf you're not into that, just replace what you have with new parts.

Question : Why are my Firefox links on my desktop showing as Internet Explorer links?
IM using firefox but when I drag the link to my desktop it a INternet Explorer link, not firefox. Why?
Answer:
My guess is that the default browser on your computer is still Internet Explorer. The next time you have the chance, change the default browser from IE to Firefox and see what that does for your links.

Question : why can't i drag tabs into links bar on internet explorer?
why can't i drag tabs into links bar on internet explorer?
Answer:
Because it's awfull and highly un-customisable! (I realise I just made that word up).If you use Firefox then you can customise it in infinate ways and also you can browse faster!!--------------------Whilst you're at it, buy a Mac so you can distance yourself from Microsoft as much as possible =p.
