Get a grip!!!

This hand held rivet tool is great for simple riveting tasks. I found it very easy to use and light weight. The only negative is the handles have a wide spread and its hard to get a grip on some of the stainless steel rivets since they're harder than aluminum. I have an average size hand and still requires the use of both hands to firm up your grip. But it's worth the cost. Most definitely helped me.

You can set ordinary rat traps.You can try "humane traps" that will catch the critters alive for relocation. BEWARE! You have to take them far, far away or they come right back.Call an exterminator. NOTE:Once the critters are gone, you'll need to plug their entrance hole. If you can't see it right off, get the exterminator to look, or hire a handyman to find it.

With millions of men going into the services, "Rosies" from every walk of life took the jobs and assembled the aircraft, tanks, truck, jeeps and rifles for the war. They also tested aircraft, ferried them to the front, and built the bombs to go into them.

Question : Where can I find ads online that were made right after World War II?
I'm looking online for some ads that would have taken place right after World War II, as the men were all coming back from the war. More specifically any ads that would be concerning the women working in the workforce, when they all had to leave their jobs. Also anything that may have something to do with "Rosie the Riveter." Anything related to that is good!

Question : What do you do with the back of rockabilly-pin up hair with a bandana?
My hair is fairly short (slightly past chin in front and about 1in past hairline in the back). I am growing out an inverted bob and love the rosie the riveter style. I can get the front to look ok, but have no idea for the rest of it.

Personally I find the whole bandanna look in the rockabilly scene to be cliche. Your hair may be too short to do much at the moment.Pincurls look nice sticking out of the top of the bandanna, and for crying out loud do NOT wear both a pony tail and a bandanna at the same time. Punkrockdomestics could give you some cool ideas on what to do with your hair look through the search engine on the site.

Question : What's the easiest way to replace Altman 360 shutters?
I'm working on cleaning and repairing all the instruments in the theatre I work at. And I'm pretty much making it up as I go along, with whatever research I could find. I have a few old Altman 360s that need new shutters. We have all the parts (shutter blades, handle pads, rivets) and a riveter, but I'm not quite sure how to actually remove the old shutter. The only thing I can see is to cut it off. Is there an easier way, as my access to cutting tools is limited?

By rivet if you mean a metal pin used to fasten pieces of metal together, it is " parch " in farsi.the "a" has the sound as in "pack".we have this word "Parchin" in Persian with to different meanings! Let me describe it this way:"Parch" means rivet in Farsi, another equal word for it is also "Parchin" which has the same meaning. Question : My pop riveter keeps jamming and it is hard to get the broken rivit part out?
When you "pop" a rivet, the "tail" remains in the rivet tool and I can't get it out.

Answer:
Make sure you are using the right size head attachment on it. If you have to push hard to get the tail in (before popping) then go to next bigger head. Also, make sure to push the tool down all the way over the tail and keep it perfectly straight before popping or the tail will bend in the tool and be hard to remove. When trying to remove the popped tail, fully open the handle all the way and shake.If none of these things work and you use the riveter a lot, then I would buy a new one.

Question : My wife got a Rosie the Riveter tatoo on her shoulder/arm. Does this mean she's a lesbian?
This is her first tattoo. It's large and she got it on her upper arm, near shoulder. Does this have significance with the gay/lesbian community?

Rosie the Riveter is a model for feminism.However, this doesn't make your wife a lesbian or even bisexual. She most likely appreciates the meaning behind her. She stood up for herself and showed women that you don't need to wait for your men to handle everything in life.I'd love to get her tattooed on me, and I think it's great your wife did so!I work in a feminist organization and she's a model woman for us. We have her picture all over our office.
