Editorial Review :
The Gorilla Power Wrench's 21" telescoping handle provides the leverage needed to remove even the tightest lug nuts with ease. Includes dual sockets that fit virtually all standard Original Equipment lug nuts. 17mm, 19mm(3/4"), 21mm(13/16"), 23mm(7/8") socket sizes included.
Customer Review :
Heavy duty, great wrench
I used this wrench to remove the wheels on my boat trailer. It is very solidly built. One thing I particularly liked was after I broke the lug nut free I could then retract the handle so it could spin the nut off without interference from the ground as I turned it 360 degrees. There are four sizes of sockets, two each back-to-back in one single socket. I'm able to keep this in my SUV and remove the original equipment lug wrench from the car. That way I have one wrench taking up space and adding weight to the car but it fits both the SUV and the boat trailer. At full extension it provides a lot of leverage for tight lug nuts, and it still feels solid. I expect this to last for a very long time. I highly recommend this wrench.

Best lug wrench I've ever used
This lug wrench from Gorilla does exactly what it says. It delivers a large amount of torque with less effort. Whether removing or installing wheels, you never want to worry about whether or not your wheels are torqued down enough, I've had the bad exeperience of a tire coming off after a shop failed to tighten it down all the way. With this wrench a 90lb weakling can apply sufficient torque to be safe. Also the thin wall sockets in this set are great and keep your wheels from getting scratched up around the lugs. Highly recommend. Not sure why someone reviewed the sockets as fitting too tight, as if that were a bad thing? Too loose of a socket will round of a lug nut for sure, and keep you from removing or installing a tire properly.

Good product for the price
Package came as expected. I bought it for my Jeep since the tire iron that came with the Jeep has long since been lost. I have oversize tires and rims so it is just not quite long enough to reach the lug nuts. It uses a standard 1/2" drive though, so with an extender it works great.
My only complaint is that when the handle is telescoped out, the locking mechanism doesn't really work. Only knocking off one star because its still ridiculously cheap and easy to store in the Jeep.

Editorial Review :
Lisle inner tie rod tool works on tie rods with inaccessible flats. Many inner tie rod end sockets do not have a complete hex on the full length of the socket. The rounded socket ends prevent access to the wrench flats. This tool utilizes five crows feet, to engage the wrench flats. Long socket slips over the tie rod end and connects to the crows foot. The inner tie rod can be removed and installed without removing the rack.
Customer Review :
For my application, needed slight modification, but well made and I recommend it
My Pathfinder used the largest of the included wrenches, so apparently the tie rods are on the large side. The tube was slightly too small for the tie rod to fit in the tube. This was corrected with some grinding to make the tube slightly larger inside. Then the tool worked perfectly. I'm torn between giving it five stars and 4 stars. I would not hesitate to recommend this tool, just if you have a vehicle like mine, you may need to modify it. slightly.

Works great!
This tool is the only one I could find to remove the inner tie rods on a 2000 Windstar. Fussed & cussed prior to using this tool. Just can't get access to the part without it. It seems well designed & comes with all the other adapter sizes. I would highly recommend it's purchase.

Incredible tool
Just when you are about to get pissed, this tool cranks those inner tie rods off.

Good Tool.
Two different local mechanics quoted me over $500 to change a single rusted tie rod in a 2000 Honda Civic. One of them tried to convince me that it was a very difficult repair, and even implied that I would have to remove the steering rack. WTF??? Anyway, after a bit of research, I decided to attempt the repair myself. I'm not a pro mechanic, and it was my first attempt at a tie rod replacement, but with the this tool, it was actually a fairly simple job that took less than 2 hours. Even with the cost of the tool, the tie rods, and my personal 'shop rate', I figure that I saved about $250.

I needed to replace the inner tie rod on my 98 honda accord. I have a fairly well equiped shop but needed this specialty tool to do the job. This tool allowed me to remove the inner tie rod lock nut with ease. It has several difference sizes of fittings that allow it to be used on other vehicles. This tool paid for itself by me doing the job. It is well made and worth the price.

Customer Review :
Spring compressor
Well made tool, and for the price, it can't be beat. Ruggedly built, and very easy to use. Did the job very adequately. Has safety clips so it won't jump off the spring as you compress.
Rating :
Good but not great
Ordered to do a strut replacement on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. The quality is acceptable for occassional use and they worked on the rear springs just fine. However, they would not compress the front springs enough to release the tension. I had to buy a different one from the local auto parts store to finish the job. I suspect they would work fine for most applications, but if you aren't sure it might be better to spend the extra money and get the ones from a brick and morter store for easier return if they don't work out right.
Rating :
poor design, cheap materials
You can see the metal shedding off of the screw as it turns. The single hook end is also too "tall" in the interior dimension and prevents complete compression on some springs.
Rating :
Works well
This thing was strong and sturdy enough to change the strut mounts on a 99 VW beetle. The good thing is that you can actually reverse the steel grips so that you can compress the springs in the car. It's not the recommended way to compress the springs, but it was necessary to get the passenger side spring out of the VW.

OTC ball joint service tool set removes and replaces ball joints. The c-frame press alone can also be used to remove and replace universal joints.
Customer Review :
Ball Joint Press
The Tool works great. I work for a Ford Dealership and we do a lot of Ball Joints. A few techs in the shop have the OTC Ball Joint Press and I was always having to borrow them. I believe they paid around 150.00 plus tax for the tool, I got the same tool, brand new in the box for half the price here on Amazon. I am very happy with this product. PS, OTC is the manufacturer of the Ford Rotunda Ball Joint Press, same tool with a different box.

Excellent tool
Got this pres after reading the reviews, figured if it was good enough for a shop it would hold up. There was a delay in shipping and it took longer to get this than i expected, and i had to cancel the order and place it with a different vendor which cost me a little more, however once it did get here, I did all 4 ball joints on a jeep Cherokee, and pressed out the steering stabilizer mount. This press took all the abuse didnt even bend a little bit. still straight. Just make sure you grease up the threads before you use it. worth every penny. I also bought the jeep ball joint adapter cups for removal and installation, also worth every penny.

OTC used to produce this in the USA it's now just anouther product from China Buy one on E-bay for half the price.

THE REAL DEAL
I use this for everything. The c clamp in this kit is very handy to have around. I used this tool on an 1986 Monte Carlo with original ball joints and it popped them out without a single problem. Presses them in without a single problem. Its easy to use and definitely a money saver if you are a do it yourself mechanic, so you dont have to remove control arms and take them to the parts store to be pressed, or take the car to a shop. Simply attach the proper cups and turn the screw until its out. Takes mere minutes.

Great Tool!
The OTC 7249 Ball Joint set was a great purchase. It worked flawlessly and easily pressed out/in the ball joints on my 2001 Ford F250 . It required the use of various adapters which I did not purchase. I made my adapters out of pieces of pipe and tubing that I had. Excellent tool for the money spent.

Advanced Tool Design Model ATD-3054 MacPherson Strut Spring Hook Compressor
Price : $56.25 $34.23

Editorial Review :
Designed to compress most sizes of MacPherson strut springs. Allows quick compression of the coil spring to replace the shock absorber or spring set.
Customer Review :
Does what its suppose to do
Good quality, storage case is a plus. Tool does it's job. Just make sure you grease up the threads before using. A few shots of WD40 did the trick for me. Pair functions fine, no slipping on the spring encountered during compression if you use the pair on opposite sides of the spring. Hold down pins won't work if your springs are too thick. Not a problem because they retract out of the way.
Rating :
Definitely the right tool but...
This kit includes two tools. It is possible to properly compress the spring with two tools but it is much easier with THREE tools (1.5 kits). With two, at for example the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions, one of the tools will always try to slip off to the 4 or 8 o'clock position. With three tools, it is very easily to compress the spring without the tool slipping.

Nut close to spring, hard to insert
I used these on the front end struts for my 96 Firebird. First, the hooks are so tall that I had to jam them in between the coils, severely scraping the newly painted springs. Second, there isn't much distance between the nut and the spring. I had to alternate back and forth very frequently to prevent the spring from leaning into the socket being used to tighten the compressor, which would then prevent the socket from being able to be removed. In the end I probably used these about 10 times and got better at it over time, so they do work comparatively well for the price.
Edit: Downgraded my review from 3 to 2 stars. Lent these out to a friend and one of the shafts bent. To be fair, I am a bit surprised because I was using these with no problem on my Firebird struts. The person who bent them was working on a truck spring, which may have been too much for these.
Rating :
great every way
I bought this after reading reviews and I bit. Now it's hook, line and sinker. I used this in a broken strut mount situation and it saved my bacon. It's not American made, but it didn't cost me the retirement of a union laborer!!
