Will not fit 15" wheel
Appears to be a nicely made product but it says that it will fit 4 and 5 lug wheels. Will not fit 15" wheel. Probably fine on 14".

Question : Spare Tire Bike Carrier for 33" tires?
I'm looking for an Bike Carrier that will strap on to the 33" spare tire on my '95 Jeep Wrangler. All I can find are ones that fit up to a 32" tire. Do larger ones exist, or do I have to go to a hitch mounted carrier?

Many over the tire carriers can be used with some creative effort, I use a Rhode Gear over the tire carrier on my '98 Wrangler with 33's. You can also modify the bars, basically lengthening them with sections of pipe.An easier solution might be a bike rack like the one linked below that mounts to the spare tire itself. Bolts on and you can leave it on the Jeep all the time. I have some friends with this one and they really like them.

I just recently purchased a 2005 Hummer H2. It has the tire attached to the back end with a swing out spare tire carrier. I don't like it, and want to remove it. Does anyone know how to do that? I need HELP! My fiance has a Jeep Rubicon, I believe it is a '06. He recently bought it used, and one of the main features he fell in love with is the customized rear tire carrier the previous owner built for the car. All I know is that the tire carrier was customized and WELDED onto the rear of the jeep.The problem is, back couple of months ago we went out to dinner, and parked his jeep in the lot. An hour or so after, we came out to notice that someone was messing with the carrier. Probably to either steal the jack or the spare tire... but because of some idiot the whole thing fell apart, and he is desparately looking for any one who has some knowledge or knows anyone who welds here in Los Angeles. I want to surprise him for his bday (09.04) but I haven't had any luck. I tried ebay, but everything that looked decent is way over my budget, and I honestly just want to get him is original carrier back on....CAN ANYONE HELP ME?FRUSTRATED IN LOS ANGELES, CAthanks for all the input.

There are tons of really good 4x4 mechanics in L.A.. Check the yellow pages or online to find one that looks good. I would also find a Q&A forum for Jeeps and ask if someone could recomend one. A good shop can weld the old one back together or help you find a good quality replacement. Not being from L.A., the only shop that I have heard about is the "Four X Doctor". The stuff that I have seen come out of their shop is top quality. Check them out at www.fourxdoctor.com to see if they might work for you.

i dont think its really possible because looking at mine, its pretty well in there. i imagine you could cut the wire or something if you had to but i dont see a reson honestly, but to every man his own.id suggest leaving it on though because if you do go to trade it in, that will get a big mark down on the value of the car cus that is where you keep the spare, at least where most people do.
